Abstract
In the prodn. of a self-levelling and rapid hardening mortar, esp. for floor bases, from a mixt. of gypsum binder, filler, fluidiser and make-up water, the novelty is that the mixt. comprises 600-900 wt. parts gypsum binder; 200-400 wt.parts hydraulic binder (pref. Portland cement); 600-2000 wt.parts filler (pref. sand of 0-5mm size) opt. together with 0-800 wt.parts dust or mineral powder (pref. lime powder of 0-0.5mm size); 10-70 wt. parts fluidiser (pref. melamine-formaldehyde resin); and 400-800 wt.parts water.
