Abstract

A moisture resistant adhesive comprises a mixt. of Ca aluminate with water and a tacky material which is soluble or can form a suspension in water. The amt. of water used is that required to cause the normal setting of the Ca aluminate. The tacky material is an elastomer, a vinyl, acrylic or phenolic resin, a cellulose deriv., an ether or a diene. Used for bonding ceramics, granite, stones, cement, bricks, styrofoam and the like.
