U dosavadního valivého uložení v dopřádacich strojích je použito speciální kuličkové ložisko, která sestává z vnějšího pouzdra a z hřídele konstantního průměru. V obou dílech jsou zhotoveny oběžné dráhy, v nichž jsou umístěna valivá tělesa vedená klecemi. Ložisko je opatřeno okrajovými kryty. Mazání ložiska je zajištěno vnitřní náplní plastického maziva.In the existing rolling bearing in spinning machines, a special ball bearing is used, which consists of an outer sleeve and a shaft of constant diameter. Toto konstrukční řešení má tu nevýhodu, že při otáčkách vyšších než 8.104 min1 vzniká omezení vlivem nedostatečné dynamické tuhosti hřídele, která je dána hmotností spřádacího rotoru a tuhostí hřídele. Při dané velikosti spřádacího rotoru závisí dynamická tuhost na tuhosti hřídele, která je určena průměrem hřídele a jeho vyložením se spřádacím rotorem. Z hlediska dostatečného mazání vnitřní náplní plastického maziva při vysokých otáčkách se jeví jako mezní velikost hřídele o průměru 9 mm.
