Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a lubricating device for a ball-and-roller bearing, which can circulate grease by disposing seal members having a grease reservoir on both end surfaces of an outer race, and inclining a gap between the inner peripheral surface of the seal member and the outer peripheral surface of an inner race member so that rotation of the bearing causes air to flow into the interior of the bearing. CONSTITUTION:Seal members 3 having a grease reservoir 6 at the inside thereof are disposed on both end surfaces of an outer race 1. Inclined gaps are formed between the inner surfaces of the seal members 3 and the outer peripheral surfaces of inside members 4 mounted on both end surfaces of an inner race 2 in such a manner as to be of a larger diameter on bearing end surface side, whereby rotation of the inner race 2 of the bearing causes air to flow into the interior of the bearing on the taper gaps, so that grease flowed through circulation holes 5 are supplied to the track surface of the interior of the bearing so as to circulate grease in the bearing.

Conventionally, grease lubrication is often used to lubricate rolling bearings due to ease of maintenance and no need for ancillary equipment. However, in the case of high-speed rotation, the sufficient amount of usable grease in the raceway surface is affected by centrifugal force and rolling bearings. Due to the rotation of the moving object, it is scattered outside the raceway surface on the outer ring side, and for example, as shown in the diagram, it accumulates in the corners of the housing la, and the important raceway surface that requires lubrication may seize due to lack of lubricant. For this reason, it is extremely difficult to lubricate with grease when rotating at high speeds.

The present invention compensates for the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional gentle methods and provides a lubricating device for rolling bearings that can constantly replenish the raceway surface with grease.

First, referring to FIG. 2, the figure is a cross-sectional view of the main parts of the lubricating device for a rolling bearing according to the present invention, in which a sealing member 3 having grease reservoirs 6 on the inner surface is provided on both end surfaces of an outer ring l attached to a housing. The inner circumferential surface of the isthmus seal member 3 and the outer circumferential surface of the inner member 4 that faces each other with a slight gap and seals between the outer ring and the inner ring 2 are such that the end face side of the bearing is on the large diameter side. It is formed into a certain tapered surface, and acts as a trap so that the rotation of the inner member 4 attached to the inner ring 2 causes air to flow into the bearing through a slight gap between the two members.

Further, the sealing member 4 is provided with a circulation hole 5 that communicates with the gap from the grease pool 6, and the grease accumulated in the grease pool flows into the gap through the circulation hole 5. It is now possible to do this.

Fig. 3 shows a second embodiment of the present invention, in which, unlike Fig. 2, the seal member 3 is in the form of a non-contact type seal that seals between the outer ring 1 and the inner ring 2 on both end faces of the bearing. The outer circumferential surface of the inner ring 2 and the inner circumferential surface of the sealing member 3 are directly opposed to the inner circumferential surface of the sealing member 3 with a slight clearance, and there is no inner member 4. As in Fig. 2, it has a tapered surface, and the inner ring 2 (

The sealing member 3 is also provided with a grease reservoir 6 and a circulation hole 5 that communicates with the gap, so that the grease accumulated in the grease reservoir 6 flows into the gap through the circulation hole 5. .

Therefore, the lubricating device according to the present invention is similar to the previous example (the centrifugal force of the rotation of the inner ring 2 causes the grease to accumulate in the sealing member 3 6).
The grease that has accumulated in the bearing is sucked by the air flow K generated in the clearance through the circulation hole 5 toward the inside of the bearing, and is again supplied to the raceway surface inside the bearing along with the outside air through the clearance, thereby lubricating it. Since I am accustomed to doing this,
Once the grease is sealed inside the bearing, it can be circulated many times and used without wasting it. Since grease is always present on the raceway surface, stable rotation can be achieved without causing seizure. is now possible.

Further, in the second embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 3, no inner member is provided, and the outer peripheral surface of the inner ring 2 is directly formed into a tapered surface, and the seal member 3 is formed in the shape of a seal fixed to the outer ring. As a result, the bearing can be used alone as a sealed bearing with the above-mentioned excellent functions, and can be used for a wide variety of purposes.

In this embodiment, the inner circumferential surface of the seal member 3 and the outer circumferential surface of the inner member 4 are formed into tapered surfaces that face each other with a slight gap between them, but the present invention is not limited to this. The shape of the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the member is cylindrical, and at least one of the surfaces is provided with a guide groove such as a spiral groove or a straight groove that causes air to flow in the direction inside the bearing due to rotation. There is no problem.

Further, in this embodiment, the sealing member and the inner member are provided on both end faces of the outer ring, but the lubrication device according to the present invention may be provided on only one end face for lubrication, and furthermore, it can be used for rotating the outer ring. .
