Abstract

El presente desarrollo se refiere a un biocompuesto que incorpora salvado de cereales como material de refuerzo en una matriz polimérica, empleando agentes compatibilizantes que favorecen la interacción de dichos materiales. El presente desarrollo también se refiere al método para producir dicho biocompuesto bajo condiciones controladas de operación: temperatura, velocidad, tamaño de partícula y humedad, que comprende las etapas de calentar la matriz polimérica, agregar un agente compatibilizante y un material de refuerzo, enfriar la mezcla, secar y grancear, para permitir la obtención de un producto con características fisicoquímicas y mecánicas especiales, similares a las presentadas por los plásticos convencionales.
