Abstract

Se proporcionan plantas monocotiledóneas heterocigotas para la histona centromérica 3 (CenH3) y construcciones que expresan opcionalmente edición de genes, para su uso en la inducción de haploides de una planta objetivo monocotiledónea y, opcionalmente, se proporcionan ediciones de genes de transferencia. Las plantas monocotiledóneas inductoras de haploides están típicamente compuestas de células vegetales diploides que tienen solo un alelo que codifica una proteína CENH3 funcional.
