Abstract

Una composición, en forma de concreto, pasta de cemento o mortero, o alguno de sus productos intermedios, que comprende uno o más materiales aglutinantes cementosos, presentes en una cantidad que va de 0,5 % a 75 % por peso de la composición; atapulgita, presente en una cantidad que va de 0,01 % a 1.00% por peso de la composición; y opcionalmente, agua. Aunque sujeta a muchos usos, en algunas modalidades, la composición es adecuada para aplicaciones en que se requiera o desee el uso de concreto autocompactante (SCC), concreto prefabricado, hormigón gunitado, etc. Aunque se puede producir a través de diversos métodos, en algunas modalidades, la composición se produce mezclando los componentes. En algunas modalidades, la composición puede tener una o más propiedades seleccionadas entre concretos de suspensión superior de áridos, segregación eliminada, mayor maleabilidad, mayor fluidez, mayor facilidad de bombeo o mayor rendimiento general.
