Abstract

Composición que consta de un extracto hidrosoluble que tiene componentes con peso molecular inferior a los 41000 Daltons obtenidos a partir del licor vegetal de un proceso de molienda de aceite de palma. El extracto hidrosoluble proviene de un racimo de frutos de palma de aceite que incluye el fruto, espiga y tallo. Además, el extracto proviene de la hoja de palma de aceite. La composición tiene al menos una de las siguientes propiedades: aumento o promoción de la disponibilidad de NO e inducción de relajación vascular. Método para preparar un ingrediente alimenticio para promover la salud cardiovascular y proteger contra la enfermedad cardiovascular, que se caracteriza porque dicho ingrediente alimenticio contiene un extracto hidrosoluble que tiene componentes con pesos moleculares inferiores a 41.000 Daltons obtenidos a partir de licor vegetal de un proceso de molienda de aceite de palma.
