Abstract

Un método de alta eficiencia o el proceso se suministra para la conversión de CO2 (dióxido de carbono) a un compuesto mineralizado. El método provee la preparación de una solución acuosa de agua y cenizas de carbón o residuos de carbón, que cuando es contactado por el CO2 aglutina o convertir el CO2 en carbonatos. El proceso puede llevarse a cabo in situ en las minas de carbón de licuefacción. Este proceso puede ser usado para convertir el CO2 en grandes cantidades donde el CO2 es concentrado en los volúmenes posiblemente de origen como un subproducto de algunos procesos de la industria. En otra variación de la aplicación de este proceso el CO2 puede ser capturado directamente de la atmósfera utilizando el flujo de aire sobre una superficie de contacto o por pulverización de una de las soluciones acuosas de este proceso.
