Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con una celda de metal-oxígeno que tiene un cátodo de oxígeno, un ánodo metálico y un electrolito, dicha celda comprende un medio para concentrar oxígeno, para suministrar oxígeno de alta pureza al cátodo y un medio para controlar el oxígeno que entra al cátodo, que comprende un circuito de monitoreo de corriente conectado para medir una corriente de salida extraída de la celda de metal/oxígeno por una carga durante la operación y un circuito de control de oxígeno que responde a dicha corriente extraída, para abrir dicho medio para admitir oxígeno del concentrador por un tiempo predeterminado.
