Abstract
El presente invento suministra un sistema de extrusióncontinuo para combinar copolímeros de impacto de propileno el cual utiliza pacas de filtros de tamiz de varias mallas para reducir el número y el tamaño de geles en los copolímeros PP. Esta reducción resulta en un mejoramiento de las propiedades del copolímero resultante, especialmente en la resistencia de Impacto Gardner. Este invento suministra una paca de filtro de tamiz relativamente gruesa de múltiples capas, para dispersar geles y prevenir el cegado de las aperturas del filtro, para incrementar la velocidad de procesamiento de material del filtro y para preservar la habilidad de los filtros en dispersar bien los polímeros. El filtro de tamiz puedes ser aplicado durante la fabricación inicial de los copolímeros de impacto PP, o en el procesamiento tardío de los copolímeros de impacto, particularmente un método para disminuir la cantidad de geles poliméricos en mezclas de polipropileno, que comprende por lo menos dos polímeros de polipropileno, que comprende pasar la mezcla a través de una pluralidad de filtros de tamices de 44 hasta 900 µm para reducir el número y tamaño de geles en la mezcla de polipropileno.
