Abstract

Un método para formar un colorante que tiene una tonalidad deseada comprende mezclar un componente de un fruto del huito con un aminoácido, formando así una mezcla de reacción en donde el componente del fruto del huito reacciona con el aminoácido y produce un color azul, y ajustar la tonalidad del color azul ajustando la cantidad de oxígeno presente durante la reacción del componente del fruto del huito y el aminoácido. El método puede comprender ajustar una temperatura de la mezcla y/u otros parámetros de procesamiento.
