Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un aparato de flujo transversal para producir una emulsión o dispersión por dispersión de una primera fase en una segunda fase; tal aparato de flujo transversal comprende: • un manguito tubular externo (2) proporcionado con una primera entrada (3) en un primer extremo (4); una salida de emulsión (5); y una segunda entrada (7), distal de, e inclinada con relación a la primera entrada; • una membrana tubular se proporciona con una pluralidad de poros y adaptada para ser posicionada dentro del manguito tubular (2); y opcionalmente un inserto adaptado para ser localizado dentro de la membrana tubular, tal inserto comprende un extremo de entrada y un extremo de salida, cada uno del extremo de entrada y un extremo de salida siendo proporcionado con región achaflanada; la región achaflanada se proporciona con una pluralidad de orificios y una placa de bifurcación.
