Abstract
Se describen módulos de cultivo tipo línea de producción que incluyen estaciones de riego dispuestas para proveer agua al material vegetal en días predeterminados de crecimiento y métodos de suministro de la misma. Un módulo de cultivo tipo línea de producción incluye una pista que se extiende por cierta longitud entre un componente sembrador y un componente cosechador, una pluralidad de estaciones de riego adyacentes a la pista en una pluralidad de ubicaciones a lo largo de la longitud de la pista entre los componentes sembrador y cosechador, y un carro soportado sobre y que puede desplazarse a lo largo de la pista desde el componente sembrador al componente cosechador de manera tal que las semillas colocadas por el componente sembrador dentro del carro desarrollen en material vegetal que se cosecha en el componente cosechador. Cada una de la pluralidad de estaciones de riego se dispone entre el componente sembrador y cosechador de modo tal que el agua sea provista por la estación de riego al carro a una métrica de crecimiento predeterminada.
