Abstract

本实用新型公开了一种电连接器,用以电性连接晶片模组至印刷电路板,其包括设有收容孔的绝缘本体、收容于绝缘本体中的若干导电端子、组设于绝缘本体收容孔中的定位柱。其中,定位柱侧面设置有凸块,收容孔内表面设置有引导凸块的导引槽,且导引槽内表面凹设有卡持槽用以收容上述凸块。将定位柱沿着导引槽置于绝缘本体的收容孔中,然后旋转定位柱直至定位柱上的凸块容置于卡持槽中,由此定位柱被稳定地固定于绝缘本体,进而可实现定位柱对晶片模组稳固地定位。

【技术领域】
本实用新型关于一种电连接器,尤指一种电性连接晶片模组至印刷电路板的电连接器。
【背景技术】
现有技术中电性连接晶片模组至印刷电路板的电连接器被广泛的应用于电子设备中,其结构一般包括设有收容孔的绝缘本体、收容于绝缘本体内的若干导电端子、组设于绝缘本体收容孔中的定位柱。组装时,首先将绝缘本体通过其内的导电端子焊接于印刷电路板上,再将定位柱和绝缘本体通过干涉配合连接在一起,且定位柱部分露出于绝缘本体的收容孔,最后将晶片模组沿着定位柱放置在绝缘本体上,由此实现晶片模组和印刷电路板的电性连接。
然而这种结构的电连接器,至少存在以下缺点:在将电连接器焊接到印刷电路板的过程中,绝缘本体会受热,绝缘本体上的收容孔因受热而膨胀,当收容孔膨胀至直径大于定位柱直径时,定位柱和收容孔之间失去干涉的作用,从而导致定位柱脱离绝缘本体,无法实现晶片模组的稳固定位。
鉴于此,实有必要提供一种改进的电连接器,以克服上述电连接器的缺陷。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型要解决的技术问题是提供一种电连接器,尤指一种可将定位柱稳固连接于绝缘本体的电连接器。
为此,本实用新型提供了一种连接晶片模组至印刷电路板的电连接器,其包括:设有收容孔的绝缘本体、收容于绝缘本体中的若干导电端子、组设于绝缘本体收容孔中的定位柱。定位柱侧面设置有凸块,对应的收容孔内表面设置有引导凸块的导引槽,且导引槽内表面凹设有卡持凸块的卡持槽。
相对于现有技术,本实用新型电连接器具有以下优点:定位柱侧面设置有凸块,绝缘本体的收容孔内表面设置有导引凸块的导引槽和卡持凸块的卡持槽,将凸块沿着导引槽置于绝缘本体收容孔中,然后旋转凸块到卡持槽中,由此定位柱被稳定地固定于绝缘本体,进而可实现定位柱对晶片模组稳固地定位。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1,本实用新型电连接器1,用以电性连接晶片模组(未图示)至印刷电路板(未图示),其包括设有收容孔110的绝缘本体11、收容于绝缘本体11中的若干导电端子(未图示)、组设于绝缘本体11收容孔110中的定位柱12。
定位柱12是由金属材料制成的,其大致呈圆柱状,且可组设于位于绝缘本体11四角处的收容孔110中。定位柱12设有底面121和侧面122,其中侧面1 22设置有凸块1121,且定位柱12部分露出收容孔110以导引晶片模组。
绝缘本体11为塑胶板状结构,其拐角处设有至少两个呈对角设置的收容孔110,至少有两个定位柱12容置于收容孔110中,且定位柱12和收容孔110的直径随实际需要可设置为不同。
请参图2所示,收容孔110内表面由上至下设有引导凸块1121进入收容孔110的导引槽1101,导引槽1101内表面凹设有卡持凸块1121的卡持槽1102,且卡持槽1102与导引槽1101相连通。导引槽1101和卡持槽1102的尺寸与凸块1121的尺寸相适配。收容孔110上端设有倒角斜面1103,该倒角斜面1103对定位柱12的插入起导引作用。
组装时,首先将定位柱12沿着导引槽1101置于绝缘本体11的收容孔110中,然后旋转定位柱12使定位柱12上的凸块1121容置于卡持槽1102中,实现定位柱12和绝缘本体11的稳固连接,接着将绝缘本体11连接于电路板上,实现导电端子和电路板的电性连接,最后将晶片模组沿着定位柱放置在绝缘本体上以与导电端子电性接触。这样,在将电连接器1焊接到印刷电路板的过程中,定位柱12由于置于其侧面122的若干凸块1121卡持在卡持槽1102中而不会与因受热而膨胀的收容孔110脱离,由此实现定位柱12对晶片模组稳固的定位。
以上所述仅为本实用新型的优选实施方案,其它在本实施方案基础上进行的任何改进变换也应当不脱离本实用新型的技术方案。

Claims (5)

1.一种电连接器,包括绝缘本体、收容于绝缘本体中的若干导电端子,以及定位柱,其中绝缘本体设有容置定位柱的收容孔,其特征在于:所述定位柱侧面设置有凸块,收容孔内表面设置有引导凸块的导引槽,且导引槽内表面凹设有与导引槽相通的卡持槽用以收容上述凸块。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述定位柱置于绝缘本体的四角处。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述定位柱至少有两个且沿对角设置。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述至少两个定位柱直径不同。
5.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述收容孔设有引导定位柱的倒角斜面。
