Abstract

本实用新型提供一种电子转换器(10),其包括Serial ATA插座连接器(20)、SCA2插头连接器(30)、印刷电路板(40)及一对盖体(50)。Serial ATA插座连接器与SCA2插头连接器分别组装在印刷电路板上,并借助印刷电路板起到信号传送与转换的功能。盖体遮罩在SCA2插头连接器、Serial ATA插座连接器及印刷电路板的外面,并将其组装在一起。如此,这种电子转换器可实现连接Serial ATA端口与SCA2端口的功能。

电子转换器
【技术领域】
本实用新型有关一种电子转换器,尤其是指一种用于连接两个不同接口标准连接器的电子转换器。
【背景技术】
现在,SCA(Single Connector Attachment)接口标准已经成为一种广泛应用的连接接口,其为系统提供一种标准连接接口,并进一步发展为SCA2(SingleConnector Attachment 2)。除非另有说明,本实用新型的说明书中SCA2一词包括SCA接口及SCA2接口。通常,这些SCA2插座连接器安装在电脑主板上,而SCA2插头连接器则与硬盘驱动器相连接。借助这些SCA2插座连接器及插头连接器的互相连接提供硬盘驱动器与主板间的信号传输路径。
如今Serial ATA(Serial Advanced Technology Attachment,Serial ATA)接口也得到迅速的发展,其也用于存储装置(如硬盘、DVD、CD-ROM驱动器与个人电脑主板的连接)。此处的存储装置下文均以“硬驱”代替。相对于现有接口,Serial ATA接口具有更多的优点,如Serial ATA系统支持低电压、端子数目少、可提高数据传输稳定性与传输速率。相应地,这些Serial ATA连接器亦可用来连接硬驱及主板。
所以,电脑内部结构可能会出现不同接口标准的连接接口。
然而,为提高传输速率或其它因素的考虑,最初使用SCA2插座连接器与硬驱相连结的现有主板可能需要与使用Serial ATA插头连接器的硬驱相连接,这已成为业界普通技术人员一大问题。在这种情况下,更换整个系统显然会增加成本。因此,有必要设计一种电子元件用来实现Serial ATA插头连接器与SCA2插座连接器间的互相连接。
【发明内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种用于连接Serial ATA插头连接器及SCA2插座连接器的电子转换器。
为解决上述技术问题,本实用新型采用如下技术方案:本实用新型电子转换器包括Serial ATA插座连接器、SCA2插头连接器、印刷电路板及一对盖体。SerialATA插座连接器及SCA2插头连接器分别组装在印刷电路板上,并借助该印刷电路板完成信号的传送及转换。盖体遮罩在SCA2插头连接器、Serial ATA插座连接器及印刷电路板的外面,并将其组装在一起,以稳固组装电子转换器。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型具有如下有益效果:在印刷电路板两端分别连接Serial ATA插座连接器与SCA2插头连接器,借助印刷电路板之信号传送与转换功能可实现Serial ATA插头连接器与SCA2插座连接器间的互相连接。
下面结合附图和具体实施方式对本实用新型作进一步说明。

【具体实施方式】
参阅图1及图2,本实用新型电子转换器10包括Serial ATA插座连接器20、SCA2插头连接器30、印刷电路板40及一对盖体50组成的盒体。该电子转换器10可用在连接硬驱上设置的Serial ATA插头连接器(未图示)上及装在主板上的SCA2插座连接器(未图示)上。
参阅图3及图4,Serial ATA插座连接器20包括绝缘本体21及若干端子22。绝缘本体21具有纵长延伸的第一基部24,该第一基部24包括一对纵长壁240、一对连接纵长壁240末端的侧壁242及与侧壁242相平行并将上述纵长壁240相连接的中间壁244。纵长壁240、侧壁242及中间壁244围成两收容槽246,其中一收容槽246的长度大于另一收容槽246。一纵长壁240较另一纵长壁240厚,并在该较厚的纵长壁240上开设有若干端子通道248,这些端子通道248与相应的收容槽246相通。绝缘本体21邻近侧壁242处设有一对导引柱25。
绝缘本体21的第一基部24具有邻接面26,如图4所示。一对后梁260从基部24两端远离邻接面26向后延伸,每一后梁260上设有狭槽261,这些狭槽261用来收容锁固装置27,锁固装置27上具有一对弹性固持脚270,该锁固装置27的技术为业界普通技术人员所熟悉,此处不再详述。中间臂262亦从邻接面26伸出且其与上述中间壁244相对齐,一导引柱266从中间臂262凸伸并可收容在电路板40上相应的固持孔462(如图7所示)内。
一对横条28从绝缘本体21的第一基部24分别朝上、下方向延伸,每一横条28设有若干固持孔280。相应数目的凸块29亦从第一基部24邻接面26位置向上及向下延伸,这些凸块29的形状及尺寸与横条28的固持孔280相近或相同。
参阅图4与图10,每一端子22包括对接部220、安装部222及将对接部220与安装部222相连接的连接部224。组装时,端子22从邻接面26插入相应的通道248内,对接部220部分凸伸入相应的收容槽246并可与对接Serial ATA插头连接器的相应端子抵接。端子22的连接部224与绝缘本体21干涉配合而将端子22可靠固持在绝缘本体21内。端子22的安装部222远离邻接面26向后延伸并向下弯曲而成,这些安装部222可插入电路板40上相应的穿孔420内(如图7所示)。
参阅图5及图6所示,SCA2插头连接器30包括绝缘本体31、若干端子32及锁固装置33。绝缘本体31包括第二基部34,该第二基部34具有在其内开设有空腔342的框部340。舌板344水平延伸入上述空腔342内。在第二基部34的相对两侧设有一对导引柱36,每个导引柱36设有导引槽360,其用来收容锁固装置33的第一部分330。
绝缘本体31的第二基部34具有后表面37,若干通道370从后表面37向前延伸并贯穿第二基部34且延伸入舌板344而形成,用来收容相应端子32。一对后梁39从后表面37向后延伸,并与第二基部34的两端相邻。每一后梁39设有彼此相通的第一凹槽390及第二凹槽392,二者共同收容锁固装置33的第二部分332。锁固装置33还包括一对从第二部分332的侧缘向下延伸的弹性固持脚334,这些固持脚334延伸出第二凹槽392的外面。每一后梁39还包括一导引柱394,其向下延伸并可插入电路板40上相应的固持孔462中(如图7所示)。
一对上、下横条35从绝缘本体31的第二基部34邻近后表面37的位置延伸而成。上横条35包括一对位于第二基部34两端的侧横条350及位于中间位置处的中间横条352。下横条35则包括一对侧横条350,在每个侧横条350开设有固持孔354。绝缘本体31的后梁39向上凸设有一对凸块356,这些凸块365与相应的固持孔354相对齐。
请参阅图5、图6并结合图10,端子32包括对接部320、安装部322及将对接部320与安装部322相连接的连接部324。端子32从绝缘本体31的后表面插入相应通道370中。端子32的安装部322向外延伸出后表面37,并焊接在电路板40的相应导电片440上(参图7)。
请参阅图7,印刷电路板40呈矩形,其具有前端面42、后端面44及两侧面46。邻近前端面42处设有若干个穿孔420,邻近两侧面46处设有若干固持孔460。印刷电路板40又设有固持孔462。若干个导电片440设在印刷电路板40的上表面,其邻近上述后端面44。
如图1、图8及图9所示,一对盖体50包括左盖体50及与左盖体50尺寸大小相近的右盖体50,每一盖体50包括顶部52、底部54及连接顶部52及底部54的侧部56。顶部52与底部54的形状及尺寸相近,顶部52(底部54)上具有分别向下/向上延伸的前梁523(543)与后梁524(544)。前梁523(543)与后梁524(544)上设有若干个倒刺525(545)。顶部52及底部54设有若干个与前梁523(543)及后梁524(544)相平行的凸肋526(546)。右盖体50的底部54的凸肋546与左盖体50的顶部52上的每一凸肋526分别向外凸设有柱体547,右盖体50的顶部52上的每一凸肋526与左盖体50的底部54上的每一凸肋546凹设有与上述柱体547相对应的收容孔527。
参阅图3、图4、图7及图9,组装时,Serial ATA插座连接器20安装在印刷电路板40上,其邻接面26贴靠在印刷电路板40的前端面42上。端子22的安装部222插入印刷电路板40上相应的穿孔420内,并焊接成一体。锁固装置27的固持脚270与连接器20的导引柱266分别插入对应的固持孔460与邻近前端面42的固持孔462中。
参阅图5至图7及图9,SCA2插头连接器30组装在印刷电路板40上时,其后表面37贴靠在印刷电路板40的后端面44上。端子32的安装部322焊接在印刷电路板40相对应的导电片440上。锁固装置33的固持脚334与SCA2插头连接器30的导引柱394分别收容在相应的固持孔460及邻近印刷电路板40后端面44的固持孔462内。
请参阅图9至图12,盖体50最终遮罩在Serial ATA插座连接器20、印刷电路板40及SCA2插头连接器30的外面,盖体50的前梁523、543夹持在相应的绝缘本体的横条28与凸块29之间,倒刺525、545恰可固持在Serial ATA插座连接器20的横条28上的相应固持孔280内(详见图11)。同时,盖体50的后梁524、544夹持在相应的横条35与绝缘本体31的凸块356之间(如图12所示),后梁524、544的倒刺525、545固持在绝缘本体31相应侧横条350的固持孔354内。
盖体50的柱体547收容在收容孔527内,当左右盖体50组装在一起时,左盖体50(右盖体50)的柱体547收容于右盖体50(左盖体50)上相对应的收容孔527,左右两个盖体结合于一体。如此,Serial ATA插座连接器20、SCA2插头连接器30及印刷电路板40组装为一体,这样就构成了一个两端分别连接Serial ATA插座连接器与SCA2插头连接器的电子转换器10。
印刷电路板40可提供信号传送与转换的功能,因此,电子转换器10可连接不同接口标准的连接器,如本实施方式中的Serial ATA插座连接器与SCA2插头连接器。相应地,不同标准接口的连接器可应用在同一系统内,系统无须整体更换,成本亦相应减少。

Claims (10)

1.一种电子转换器,其特征在于:其包括印刷电路板、Serial ATA插座连接器及SCA2插头连接器,其中印刷电路板具有前端面与后端面;Serial ATA插座连接器组装在印刷电路板的前端面,该插座连接器可与Serial ATA插头连接器对接;SCA2插头连接器组装在上述印刷电路板的后端面,其可用于连接SCA2插座连接器。
2.如权利要求1所述的电子转换器,其特征在于:上述印刷电路板前端面设有若干穿孔,上述Serial ATA插座连接器包括有若干端子,这些端子的安装部插入并焊接在上述印刷电路板的穿孔内;上述印刷电路板的后端面上设有若干导电片,SCA2插头连接器包括若干端子,这些端子的安装部焊接在导电片上。
3.如权利要求1所述的电子转换器,其特征在于:Serial ATA插座连接器与SCA2插头连接器均具有一对锁固装置,印刷电路板上开设有收容上述锁固装置的相应固持孔。
4.如权利要求1所述的电子转换器,其特征在于:该电子转换器进一步包括一对左、右盖体,这些盖体遮罩上述Serial ATA插座连接器、SCA2插头连接器及印刷电路板,并将其组装在一起。
5.如权利要求4所述的电子转换器,其特征在于:每一盖体包括顶部、底部及连接上述顶部与底部的侧部。
6.如权利要求5所述的电子转换器,其特征在于:每一盖体的顶部与底部向内分别凸伸有若干个凸肋。
7.如权利要求6所述的电子转换器,其特征在于:所述右盖体的底部的凸肋向外凸伸形成柱体,左盖体的底部的凸肋则设有可收容上述柱体的收容孔。
8.如权利要求6所述的电子转换器,其特征在于:上述右盖体顶部的凸肋凹设有收容孔,左盖体顶部的凸肋则凸伸有相应的与上述右盖体的收容孔配合的柱体。
9.如权利要求5所述的电子转换器,其特征在于:Serial ATA插座连接器与SCA2插头连接器均包括有绝缘本体,在每一绝缘本体上设有一对分别向上/向下延伸的横条及与上述相应横条间隔一定距离设置的凸块,上述每一盖体的顶部/底部分别向下/向上延伸有一对前梁及后梁,这些前梁与后梁可分别夹持在上述Serial ATA插座连接器与SCA2插头连接器的相应横条与凸块之间。
10.如权利要求9所述的电子转换器,其特征在于:上述Serial ATA插座连接器及SCA2插头连接器的横条开设有若干个固持孔,上述盖体的前梁及后梁上设有收容于上述固持孔内的倒刺。
