Abstract

一种连接器组件,其包括有绝缘本体、用来与对接语音插头相配接的若干导电端子及用来与对接光纤插头相匹配的光元件,绝缘本体具有对接面,在对接面上开设有一供对接插头插接的插口,绝缘本体内部形成有与上述插口相连通的空腔,并于该空腔旁侧设有若干端子收容槽;导电端子安装于绝缘本体的端子收容槽内;该连接器组件还包括一遮蔽壳体,其包覆在绝缘本体上,遮蔽壳体的顶壁上向上延伸设有弹片。这样,可以达到良好的防电磁干扰功能,且不占据电路板上的空间。

连接器组件
【技术领域】
本实用新型是有关一种连接器组件,尤指一种既可与语音插头对接又可与光纤插头对接的连接器组件。
【背景技术】
随着光纤通信技术不断的发展,特别是高速局域网和光接入网的发展,对光纤连接器的需求正在不断增加。目前,业界常见的光纤连接器主要应用在视频、音频等消费性电子产品中或使用塑料光纤的短距离光纤通讯中,如美国专利公开第2002/0191921 A1号案便清楚揭示了这种光纤连接器的基本结构。为适应消费性电子产品日趋轻薄短小,而其功能性要求不断增多的需求,相应的应用于这些产品上的不同连接器正进行着功能重组。
目前,由Sharp及Sony公司共同制定推出了一种光纤插头与电插头可共用的连接器。该种连接器具有若干导电端子,用以传输电信号;其还具有光元件,用于传输光信号。这种连接器主要应用于笔记本电脑及DVD等。现有该种连接器的光元件通常是在绝缘本体尾部与一体式绝缘本体相组装,或插入或相互抵接,如美国专利第6,475,001号和第6,588,947号所示。然而这些电连接器未设有大面积的屏蔽构件,如包覆绝缘本体的金属壳体,所以在进行电性传输的过程中,极易受到外界的电磁干扰,使得电信号传输的品质下降,而无法保证连接器的正常运行。
为了解决上述问题,申请人一直试图设计出可适用于由塑料光纤连接器与语音插座连接器所组成的连接器组件的金属遮蔽壳体。为此,参考了一些现有技术,如美国专利第6,050,854号所示的语音插座连接器,遮蔽壳体遮覆绝缘本体的顶壁及两侧壁,同时,从遮蔽壳体的顶壁前端缘向前且向下倾斜延伸出一对接地片,用来与电脑的机箱面板相抵接而接地,从而加强防电磁干扰作用。然而,该连接器的遮蔽壳体的接地片的存在明显会加长其安装在电路板上时的长度,而且会占据机箱面板的一定空间。当该连接器安装到笔记本电脑中时,由于笔记本电脑薄而小,机壳一侧的面板较窄,主板面积有限,上述接地片结构的缺陷相对突出。。
因此,有必要提供一种改进型连接器组件以克服现有技术的上述缺陷。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种连接器组件,其具有较好的电磁屏蔽效果,且其遮蔽壳体的接地结构不占据电路板上的空间。
为实现上述目的,本实用新型采用如下技术方案:一种连接器组件,其包括有绝缘本体、用来与对接语音插头相配接的若干导电端子及用来与对接光纤插头相匹配的光元件,绝缘本体具有对接面,在对接面上开设有一供对接插头插接的插口,绝缘本体内部形成有与上述插口相连通的空腔,并于该空腔旁侧设有若干端子收容槽;导电端子安装于绝缘本体的端子收容槽内;该连接器组件还包括一遮蔽壳体,其包覆在绝缘本体上,遮蔽壳体的顶壁上向上延伸设有弹片。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型连接器组件具有如下有益效果:在绝缘本体的外侧设置遮蔽壳体,在遮蔽壳体的顶部设置弹片与笔记本电脑上部外壳相抵接而接地,从而达到良好的防电磁干扰功能,且不占据电路板上的空间。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1及图2所示,本实用新型连接器组件1包括有遮蔽壳体10,绝缘本体20、若干导电端子30、盖体40及光元件50。参阅图3,遮蔽壳体10的顶壁11上设有两个弹片12,两弹片12先向上倾斜延伸一段距离后再水平向后延伸出接触端120。顶壁11两侧的前后两端各向下垂直延伸出垂片13,每个垂片13上开有一扣口14,且后端两垂片13的底部前端还各设有一片体15,其先水平向内延伸出支撑部150,再垂直向下延伸出定位脚151。在顶壁11的两侧中部还各设有一梯形缺口16。自顶壁11后边缘向下延伸形成有连接两后垂片13的后盖部(未标号)。
请参阅图2所示,绝缘本体20的上表面为一平壁21,其构型与遮蔽壳体10的顶壁11大体相同,平壁21两侧中间有一梯形凹陷部210。左右两侧壁22沿平壁21的边缘向下延伸。再请参阅图4,其显示绝缘本体20的内部构造。绝缘本体20的前端壁23高于后端壁24,且前端壁23的外表面为对接面230,其上开设有一圆孔形插口231,以供对接插头(未图示)插入。前端壁23的内侧开设有两燕尾槽232。左右两侧壁22上对应遮蔽壳体10的各垂片13的扣口14处分别开设有容置槽220,其中靠近前端壁23的容置槽220的一侧面即为前端壁23的内表面。绝缘本体20的内部开设两空腔25,该两空腔25包括由一隔离体26分隔的前空腔251及后空腔252,隔离体26上也开设有一连接孔261,其轴线与对接面230上的圆孔形插口231的轴线相重合。前空腔251的两侧设有若干端子收容槽27,其部分与前空腔251贯通,并穿透前空腔251下方一体形成的盖板2510。盖板2510的后端与隔离体26相连,盖板2510中间还设有一开口2511,开口2511的正对前端壁23的侧边还形成有一矩形凹槽2512。后壁24上朝后空腔252内凸设两半圆柱形凸柱2520。
请参阅图2及图6,若干导电端子30安装于端子收容槽27内。这些端子包括有四根弹性端子31、32、33、34及一根固定端子35。这些弹性端子31、32、33及34的弹性臂均伸入绝缘本体20的前空腔251内,其中弹性端子33与固定端子35可适时接触或断开而提供开关作用。
请参阅图5,盖体40的前端面41上向外凸设两燕尾块410,盖体40两侧边缘处对应绝缘本体20的两侧壁22的容置槽220处凸设有楔形凸块43,凸块43的外侧为一卡扣部,在本实施例中,其表现为一自上至下向外倾斜的斜面430。盖体40上对应各导电端子脚处开设有通孔44,通孔44附近凸设有若干限位块45和支撑块46。盖体40中间开设有一“L”形开口47,在其正前方间隔一段距离处还开有一方形开口48,其分别容置弹性端子34的弹性臂341及自由末端342,具体请参照图6所示。盖体40后端设有光元件收容部49,其包括三个间隔的插孔491及位于插孔491之间的一对卡持块492。盖体40的两侧与绝缘本体20的凹陷部210的相应位置处设有缺口42。
请参阅图6,该图中,导电端子30及光元件50先装入了盖体40,为的是清楚显示导电端子30、光元件50与盖体40的相互位置关系。在实际装配时,应先将导电端子30组装入绝缘本体20的前空腔251周侧的对应端子收容槽27内,将光元件50装入绝缘本体20的后空腔252内,再将盖体40扣入收容有导电端子30及光元件50的绝缘本体20的下端。须注意的是,绝缘本体20上的各端子收容槽27的开口面积较大,不仅收容各导电端子30,也收容各限位块45和支撑块46,以使绝缘本体20和盖体40良好扣合,且端子收容槽27的开口形状正好与它所要收容的导电端子20和限位块45或支撑块46相吻合。盖体40上的各限位块45组装入各端子收容槽27后,与端子收容槽27一起对各导电端子30提供一定程度的限位作用。而各支撑块46则可在各弹性端子的弹性臂因对接插头(未图示)的不当插入而向下弯折时,对其产生支撑作用,防止其发生过度变形而影响连接器的导接效果。盖体40的凸块43各自容置于绝缘本体20的容置槽220中,并使凸块43的斜面430突出于绝缘本体20的侧壁22。而各导电端子脚则分别穿过盖体40的各对应于每一导电端子20的通孔44而伸出于盖体40底部,光元件50的三个尾部52也穿过盖体40的光元件收容部49的各自对应的插孔491而伸出盖体40的底部。导电端子30的端子脚及光元件50的尾部52可通过焊接等方式与电路板(未图示)相连接。而光元件50的接收端51则恰好位于绝缘本体20的隔离体26上的连接孔261的正后方,其内部具有卡扣结构(未图示),用来与卡持块492相配合。
最后,再将遮蔽壳体10包覆至绝缘本体20及盖体40的外围。遮蔽壳体10的四个扣口15分别与突出于绝缘本体20侧壁22的盖体40的楔形凸块43相扣合,同时遮蔽壳体10的片体15的支撑部150顶抵在盖体40下端,支撑绝缘壳体20与盖体40,而其垂直向下延伸的定位脚151则起定位作用。这样,通过扣口15与楔形凸块43相扣合,支撑部150顶抵支撑盖体40,绝缘本体20、盖体40与遮蔽壳体10之间达到一种稳固定位的效果。而光元件50组入绝缘本体20的内部,不易受到外界力的冲击破坏。
整个连接器组件1组装完毕后的图示请参阅图1。连接器组件1的两侧面中间各有一缺口,节约了宝贵的电路板面积。而遮蔽壳体10的两弹片12的接触端120可直接与笔记本电脑的上部机壳相接触而接地,从而达到良好的防电磁干扰功能,且不占据电路板上的空间。

Claims (10)

1.一种连接器组件,其包括有绝缘本体、用来与对接语音插头相配接的若干导电端子及用来与对接光纤插头相匹配的光元件,绝缘本体具有对接面,在对接面上开设有一供对接插头插接的插口,绝缘本体内部形成有与上述插口相连通的空腔,并于该空腔旁侧设有若干端子收容槽;导电端子安装于绝缘本体的端子收容槽内;其特征在于:该连接器组件还包括一遮蔽壳体,其包覆在绝缘本体上,遮蔽壳体的顶壁上向上延伸设有弹片。
2.如权利要求1所述的连接器组件,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体的两侧中间位置设有向其内部凹陷的凹陷部,而于遮蔽壳体的相应位置处设有缺口,而于该连接器组件的两侧形成内凹结构。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的连接器组件,其特征在于:所述弹片自邻近所述对接面处向后且向上倾斜延伸而成,其末端形成有水平延伸的接触端。
4.如权利要求3所述的连接器组件,其特征在于:绝缘本体的底部设有一盖体,盖体上具有供导电端子穿过的通孔,所述通孔是位于盖体的两侧,而盖体的后侧设有容置光元件的收容部。
5.如权利要求4所述的连接器组件,其特征在于:所述光元件包括尾部和接收端,所述容置光元件的收容部设有分别固持光元件的尾部和接收端的插孔和卡持块,光元件的尾部穿过插孔伸出盖体下方。
6.如权利要求5所述的连接器组件,其特征在于:绝缘本体的对接面为一平表面,插口与对接面齐平,绝缘本体的前端壁上设有燕尾槽,盖体的前端面上设有与之相配合的燕尾块。
7.如权利要求6所述的连接器组件,其特征在于:绝缘本体的侧壁上设有容置槽,盖体上设有收容于该容置槽的凸块,该凸块具有突出于绝缘本体侧壁的卡扣部。
8.如权利要求7所述的连接器组件,其特征在于:所述遮蔽壳体包括顶壁及自顶壁边缘垂直向下延伸的垂片,垂片上设置有扣口,扣口与盖体的卡扣部相扣持。
9.如权利要求1所述的连接器组件,其特征在于:绝缘本体内部设有隔离体,隔离体将空腔分为前空腔和后空腔,导电端子收容在前空腔内,光元件收容在后空腔内。
10.如权利要求9所述的连接器组件,其特征在于:隔离体上设有一连接孔,光元件位于连接孔后方且与连接孔相对齐。
