当摩托车在起车或正常行驶时,因内轮(2)是主动轮,内轮(2)上的滑键(3)受顶簧(4)顶力作用,滑键(3)卡在外轮(1)的滑键齿(5)内,此时内轮(2)带动外轮(1)同步转动,当摩托车在收油减速后,由于车的惯性影响,外轮(1)的转速大于内轮(2)的转速,滑键(3)被外轮(1)的滑键齿(5)推入内轮(2)里,实现了外轮(1)与内轮(2)的异步转动,这样内轮(2)的负载减轻,使发动机燃油减少。
