Abstract
本实用新型公开了一种固持装置,包括分别设于两个电连接器上的插头部及插孔部。该插头部包括中间设有一空腔的圆柱形主体,若干条肋由该圆柱形主体的外围呈放射状地往外突伸,每一肋的自由边缘具有一远离空腔的干涉面;插孔部包括一圆形容室,从该容室的底面向容室的开口方向突出一突出部,突出部内设有一不穿破突出部的自由端的盲孔。两条相对肋的干涉面间的距离较上述容室的孔径稍大,空腔的内径与突出部的外径相同。
Description
本实用新型有关于一种固持装置,特别是指一种包括分别设于两个电子组件上的两个组件、通过将其中一个组件与另一组件相配合而锁固两个电子组件的固持装置。
如美国专利第5,080,611号所揭示的一种组合式电连接器组件,包括第一连接器120、设于该连接器上的一对第一固持装置122、第二连接器220及设于该连接器上的一对第二固持装置222。第一、第二固持装置122、222可将第一、第二连接器120、220固定至印刷电路板24。该印刷电路板24具有第一表面146、第二表面246及穿过第一表面146及第二表面246的两收容孔56。安装于第一表面146的第一连接器120包括绝缘壳体26及与对应孔56成一直线的两固持收容槽154。安装于第二表面246的第二连接器220包括绝缘壳体26及亦与对应孔56成一直线的两固持收容槽254。每一固持装置122、222均有一对分隔开的弹性臂72、74及设于其上的倒刺84。该第一、第二固持装置122、222分别插入相应的固持收容槽154、254之后呈互相垂直的关系。弹性臂72、74插入印刷电路板24上的对应孔56时倒刺84将与孔56的内壁相啮合。通过上述设计第一、第二连接器120、220可被稳固组合至印刷电路板24。但上述电连接器组件需要特别的固持装置122、222来将两连接器120、220锁紧至印刷电路板24,这将增加材料消耗及制造成本。另外,由倒刺84与孔56配合提供的固持力也相对较小,连接器120、220有可能从印刷电路板24上脱离。另外,美国专利第5,254,016号也揭示了相同应用的另一类型的紧固装置,但其亦存在上述缺陷。因此,有必要提供一种实用、可靠的固持装置以克服上述现有技术的缺失。
本实用新型的主要目的在于提供一种分别设置于两个电子组件上,可相互配合而将该两电子组件固持于电路板,并且易于制造及组装的弹性固持装置。
本实用新型的目的是这样实现的:固持装置包括分别设置于两个电连接器上的插头部及插孔部,该插头部包括中间设有一空腔的圆柱形主体,若干条肋由该圆柱形主体的外围呈放射状地往外突伸,每一条肋的自由边缘具有一远离空腔的干涉面;插孔部包括由外壁围成的圆形容室,从该容室的底面向容室的开口方向突起形成一突出部,突出部上设有一不穿破突出部的自由端的盲孔。前述两条相对肋的干涉面之间的距离比上述容室的孔径稍大,而空腔的内径则与突出部的外径相同。组装时,第一连接器的插头部从印刷电路板的一侧插入位于印刷电路板另一侧的第二连接器的插孔部,突出部进入空腔且肋进入相应的容室。突出部的侧壁被插头部的圆柱形主体夹紧而向盲孔压缩,从而使突出部得以紧紧地固持于插头部的空腔。
由于采用上述技术方案,不需要特别的固持装置来将两连接器锁紧至印刷电路板,可以降低材料消耗及组装成本。另外,该固持装置提供的固持力也相对较大,连接器不会从印刷电路板上脱离。
下面结合附图和实施例对本实用新型作进一步说明。
图1是本实用新型的固持装置用于将电连接器组件固持至印刷电路板的分解剖视示意图。
图2是图1所示第一连接器的插头部与第二连接器的插孔部锁固后的断面图。
图3是图1所示第一连接器的插头部与第二连接器的插孔部锁固后的装配图。
图4是沿图3中的A-A线的放大剖视图。
请参图1,适用本实用新型固持装置的电连接器组件1包括第一连接器10及第二连接器20。固持装置40可以将该两连接器10、20分别固持安装至印刷电路板30的相对两侧,该固持装置40包括一体成型于第一连接器10的绝缘壳体11末端上的插头部42及一体成型于第二连接器20绝缘壳体22对应末端上的插孔部44。印刷电路板30上设有一通孔302。
该插头部42包括中间设有一空腔422的圆柱形主体421。从该圆柱形主体421的外围呈放射状地往外突伸出若干条肋424。每一条肋424的自由边缘设有一干涉面4242,且该干涉面4242远离空腔422。
插孔部44设有由外壁441所围成的圆形容室442。一突出部443从该容室442的底面(未标号)向容室442的开口444方向突出。外壁441沿插孔部44的开口444周围有一倾斜面445,突出部443内有一不穿破突出部443的自由端446的盲孔447。突出部443侧壁4430的内缘上从盲孔447凹进形成若干的凹槽448,使突出部443具有适度的弹性。相对的两条肋424的干涉面4242之间的距离比上述容室442的孔径稍大,而空腔422的内径与突出部443的外径相同。
再请参图2、图3及图4,将第一连接器10的插头部42穿过印刷电路板30的通孔302及开口444插入位于印刷电路板30另一侧的第二连接器20的插孔部44,藉此突出部443进入空腔422且肋424进入相应的容室442。由于相对的两条肋424的干涉面4242之间的距离比上述容室442的孔径稍大,因而肋424与插头部42的圆柱形主体421被插孔部44的外壁441向内挤压,使突出部443的侧壁4430被插头部42的圆柱形主体421夹紧而被压缩向盲孔447内部,因此突出部443得以紧紧地固持于插头部42的空腔422。因此,第一连接器10的插头部42被锁固于第二连接器20的插孔部44,而把第一及第二连接器10、20固定于印刷电路板30。
Claims (5)
1.一种固持装置,用于将两个电连接器分别固持安装到电路板的两侧,包括分别设置于第一、第二连接器的插头部及插孔部,其中插头部具有一圆形主体,从该圆形主体呈放射状地往外突伸出若干条肋,每条肋上均设有干涉面;而插孔部则包括由外壁所围成的容室,从该容室的底面向容室的开口方向突出形成一突出部,且该突出部内设有一不穿破突出部的自由端的盲孔,其特征在于:上述相对的两条肋的干涉面间的距离比上述容室的孔径稍大,且空腔的直径与突出部的外径相同。
2.根据权利要求1所述的固持装置,其特征在于:突出部的内侧壁上分别凹入而形成若干与盲孔相连通的凹槽。
3.根据权利要求2所述的固持装置,其特征在于:插头部设置于第一连接器上,插孔部则设置于第二连接器上。
4.根据权利要求1所述的固持装置,其特征在于:该容室具有一扩大的开口,插头部通过上述扩大的开口而收容于插孔部。
6.根据权利要求1所述的固持装置,其特征在于:插孔部的容室中还具有一突出部,插头部则相应具有一空腔,该空腔可夹紧收容上述插孔部的突出部。
