Abstract

本实用新型涉及一种电连接器,包括具有结合面和安装面的绝缘壳体,结合面与安装面间设有若干端子通道且其内均设有端子。安装面上至少设置一个凹槽以组装固定装置,从而连接印刷电路板上的导电柱。而且,在前述安装面上的横向对端设有两对支脚,每对支脚间开设有一开口。固定装置上有一通过开口的焊接部。

Description

电连接器
本实用新型涉及一种电连接器,尤其是指一种既适用于通孔焊接又适用于表面粘着焊接的电连接器。
根据个人电脑工业规范,有两种主机信号插头连接器,可用于表面粘着焊接或通孔焊接。虽然两种连接器具有几乎相同的端子排列,适于通孔焊接的连接器包括一对直接伸入印刷电路板上所设的固持通孔的固持装置,而适于表面粘着焊接的连接器则包括一对自连接器延伸的焊接板。
本实用新型目的是提供一种既适于表面粘着焊接又适于通孔焊接的电连接器。
本实用新型的目的是这样实现的:电连接器包括具有结合面与安装面的绝缘壳体,安装面与结合面间设有若干端子通道,且通道内均组设有端子。安装面上设有至少一个凹槽以组设固定装置,从而连接到印刷电路板上的导线。另外,前述安装面的横向端并一体设置有两对支脚,每对支脚间均设有一开口。固定装置为具有焊接部的焊接板,其延伸到二支脚间的开口。
由于采用上述方案,同一种型号的电连接器可与印刷电路板进行两种不同方式的安装,从而降低生产成本。
下面结合附图对本实用新型作进一步说明:
图1是本实用新型第一实施例的电连接器的立体分解图。
图2是本实用新型第一实施例的电连接器的组合图。
图3是本实用新型第二实施例的电连接器的分解图。
图4是安装图1所示的电连接器的印刷电路板的第一设计方案。
图5是安装图2所示电连接器的印刷电路板的第二设计方案。
请配合参阅图1和图2,本实用新型电连接器1包括具有结合面10a和安装面10b的绝缘壳体10,在上述结合面10a和安装面10b之间设置有若干端子通道11,每个端子通道11内装设有一端子12。另外,安装面10b上设有一对定位柱13,以组装至印刷电路板30(见图4)上的安装孔,且该安装面10b上设有一对凹槽14以组设一连接至印刷电路板30上的固定装置20,该固定装置20在本实施例中为板锁件21,其包括固持于凹槽14中的基部21a和收容于印刷电路板30上的安装孔33(见图4)的叉形部21b。另外,安装面10b的横向端上一体设置有两对相互间隔的支脚15,且每对支脚15间开设一开口15a。而图1和图2所示是用于通孔焊接型连接器。
请配合参阅图3及图5,对应本实用新型第二实施例所揭露的表面粘着焊接型电连接器1A包括绝缘壳体110,该绝缘壳体110具有结合面110a和安装面110b,结合面111a与安装面111b间设有若干端子通道111,每个端子通道111与其内的端子112相连。上述安装面110b上设有一对定位柱113用以组装至印刷电路板40上的安装孔42。另外,在安装面110b上设置有一对凹槽114以组设固定装置120,并由此连接至印刷电路板40。安装面110b的横向端一体设置两对支脚115,且每对支脚15间开设一开口115a,其中该开口115a沿纵长向而与外部连通,以使固定装置120能延伸出壳体,从而可检验固定装置与印刷电路板间的定位。在本实施例中,固定装置120是焊接板121,其上设有稳定固持于凹槽114的基部122和通过支脚115间的开口115a延伸出壳体110的焊接部123。因此,连接器1A即可使用于表面粘着焊接。另外,装设于绝缘壳体110中的端子112被弯折成水平(未图示),由此形成的焊接尾部可用于表面粘着焊接。
图4是为适用于通孔焊接型电连接器在印刷电路板30的布局图,该印刷电路板30包括一列用于安装端子12的通孔31、一对安装定位柱13的安装孔32及一对安装板锁件21的固持孔33,其中每个通孔31均可与印刷电路板40上的导线(未图示)进行电性连接。安装孔32具有不同的内径以防止反向安装,例如,在安装电连接器时预防其转动180°的误装,在本实施例中,固持孔33是位于支脚15下方。
图5是为适用于表面粘着焊接型电连接器1A的印刷电路板40上的布局图,该印刷电路板40包括一列用于安装端子112的导电板41、一对为安装定位柱113而设的安装孔42及用于焊接焊接板121的安装板43,而安装孔42具有不同的内径以防止其的反向安装,即,防止电连接器1A180°的反向误装。另外,由于焊接部121即是延伸穿出支脚15间的开口15a,因而可使表面粘着焊接轻易完成。
所以,通过具有不同端子12或112与板锁件21或焊接板121的相同壳体10,电连接器1或1A可与印刷电路板30或40进行通孔焊接或表面粘着焊接。而且,本实用新型提供了包括可与相同壳体但不同端子与固定装置的电路板安装的系统,由于电路板30上两相对固持孔33间的距离应小于自电路板40最远端的两相对安装板43间的距离,因此不同电路板上对应不同的固定装置的部分具有不同的长度。

Claims (5)

1.一种电连接器,其特征在于:绝缘壳体具有结合面和安装面,端子通道设于结合面和安装面之间,且每个通道内均组设有端子,至少一个位于上述安装面以组装固定装置从而连接至印刷电路板凹槽,至少一对相互间隔的支脚,自安装面一体延伸而成,其间设有一开口。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:上述固定装置为一焊接板,其具有稳定固持于上述凹槽的基部。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:上述开口沿纵长向与外部连通,而焊接部是连接至前述基部,并延伸通过上述支脚间的开口。
4.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:上述固定装置为一板锁件,其具有稳定固持于上述凹槽的基部。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:上述板锁件进一步包括延伸至上述印刷电路板上的固持孔内的叉形部,其中该固持孔位于上述连接器的支脚的下方。
