Abstract

本实用新型的目的就在于提供一种自带钻头的螺钉，以便能够以较小的力气就可以攻入较硬的材料。

自钻螺钉由不锈钢或硬度达HRC50以上的钢制成，由螺钉头和螺钉杆组成，在螺钉杆的前部有一段无螺纹的杆，其截面为呈中心对称的S型，S的两个顶点为切削刃，切削刃一直从螺钉尖延伸到螺钉杆的螺纹区。当将这种结构的螺钉拧进薄钢板、有色金属、塑料或硬木材时，从螺钉尖一直延伸到螺纹杆上的无螺纹区的切削刃就在螺钉前进的方向切削攻入的材料，一边切削，一边攻入，直到将螺钉拧入，实现连接的目的。
本实用新型有以下积极效果：由于本实用新型由螺钉头和螺钉杆组成，在螺钉杆前部有一段无螺纹的杆，这段无螺纹的杆的截面为呈中心对称的S型，S的两个顶点为切削刃，切削刃从螺钉尖一直延伸到螺纹杆的螺纹区。当将这种结构的螺钉拧进薄钢板，有色金属、塑料或硬木材时，螺钉尖一直延伸到螺钉杆上的螺纹区的切削刃就在螺钉前进的方向切削攻入的材料，被切削下来的材料碎屑将沿S型截面的两顶点向内的曲线，即沿两切削刃的向内的凹面，从切削刃的另一侧及螺钉尖后面延伸的槽排出，一边切削，一边攻入，实现以较小的力气就可以将这种螺钉攻入较硬的材料。
