Description

滤波模块连接器
本实用新型涉及模块连接器,尤其是滤波模块连接器。
模块连接器为人熟悉,并用于电话及数据通信工业中。将所述模块连接器安装于印刷电路板上也是已知的。所述印刷电路板是计算机一个组成部分。该模块连接器安装在计算机的一个或一个以上印刷电路板上,用以接收和转送进来和输出的信号。由于通信数字速度增加,因此有相当需求去保护通信数字完整性,以及屏蔽计算机其余电路系统避免受到从该信号产生出来的电磁辐射。一种提供如此完整性的方法是采用模拟或数字滤波技术,滤出杂波和其他不受欢迎的频率成分。虽然该附加滤波电路系统改善信号完整性,但会出现额外空间和大量滤波连接的成本问题。
授予Sakamoto et al.的美国专利US-A-5069641,针对对一种通过放置滤波元件在接插件本身,而产生一种紧密形式的滤波模块连接器的需求问题。可是,不利的是该滤波元件是永久的固定在该连接器和接收印刷电路板的基体上,所述滤波元件安装在所述印刷电路板上,增加装配和维修的成本。而且该美国专利所公开的连接器是单一插位。这进一步需要一种多个插位的数据模块连接器,以有效使用可利用的空间。
本实用新型的目的在于克服前述现有技术的缺点,提供一种滤波模块连接器,该滤波模块连接器有效使用可利用的印刷电路板空间、容易装配和维修。
一种滤波模块连接器包括一个外壳、多个端子和一个配置在该外壳的印刷电路板基体。该电路板有一个电路和在其上有电接点及该端子与该电路板基体的接点是电接触。一个边缘连接器设置在外壳内和接收该电路板基体。
其优点在于,一种滤波模块连接器有效使用可利用的印刷电路板空间,是容易装配和维修的。进一步优点是一种滤波模块连接器可以升级或改进而无需更换整个单元。
本实用新型会通过实施例参考以下的附图而描述,当中,
图1是一个根据本实用新型示教的双高模块连接器的截面图;
图2是根据本实用新型示教的一个双高、6插位模块连接器实施例,其中可以看到多个插头接收腔;

具体参考图1和图6,显示根据本实用新型示教的一个双高模块连接器的实施例,其中一个外壳1包括具有双高、六个穿插位置的插头接收腔2的一个大致为直线三维结构。一个边缘连接器3设置在外壳1内,向着连接器的非配合面51并沿着插头的接收腔2的第一列52。该边缘接收器3进一步含有从那里伸延的焊接引线17,从而确保与接受印刷电路板基体的焊接位于在图3中的“脚印图”和版面图中。插头的接收腔2的第一列52有一内在几何结构包括一个弹片凹槽15,用来接收配合的RJ类型的连接器的一个普通弹片(图中未示),所述弹片在翼片向下的方向邻近接受印刷板基体。插头的接收腔2的第二列53有一内在几何结构包括一个弹性凹槽15以接受配合RJ型连接器的普通弹片,所述弹片在翼片向上的方向邻近接受印刷板基体。接收腔的第一、二列52、53限定在外壳1内部并由一个中间壁13互相分离。在一个双高、N列模块连接器中,此中间壁13在两相对侧的翼片向上/向下结构,在该处所述弹片15彼此远离,与如果弹片15是靠近中间壁13并朝向对方的情况相比,使配合连接器脱离锁定状态和除去更为容易。
设置在外壳1内部并连接每一个插头接收腔2的是多组导电端子8中的一组。在所公开的实施例中,每组有八个端子8,一组中的每个端子8由一个塑性模制的端子固定器9保持互相平行且分离的关系。一个端子固定器9和一组端子8与插头接收腔2之一相连接。,端子固定器9模制在每组端子8上,产生如图4、5和8的虚影线所示端子固定器9和端子8的结构。然后,每个端子8在端子固定器9周围弯曲,以接受外壳1。在端子固定器9的配合侧50,每组端子8相对于端子固定器9弯曲近似145度,形成端子8的“梳子”。梳子末端由外壳1的分离片10所接收,该分离片10是外壳1的一部分;每个端子8的末端设置在分离片10的相应凹处区域;当端子接收在分离片10的凹处区域时,每个端子8由分离片10的伸出部分互相侧面相连。由分离片10和壳体1所接受的端子包括交互的非导电性外壳1和导电端子8。在端子固定器9的非配对面51上,每组端子有相对于端子固定器9弯曲的第一半径20;和一向后弯曲的第二半径弯曲21,形成一个弹簧。当该弹簧在平行于由固定器9所固定的端子部分的方向受到一个力的分量时,该弹簧提供与基体表面的弹性配合。远离固定器的每个端子8的顶端有第三半径22,形成一个朝向基体的平滑接触点11,当基体沿垂直于与由固定器9固定的端子部分相平行的方向,的方向移动时,所述平滑接触点11促进无限制沿着基体表面的移动。每一个端子8的弹簧结构确保与印刷电路板4的平面接触区6的分别接触,如下文所讨论。
具体参考图1和5,该固定器9配置安装在插头的接收腔的第一列52中,显示该端子8以先前描述的结构弯曲。在图示实施例,第一列固定器9结构具有一个1.372mm(0.054英寸)的第一半径朝向类似于连接器在配合侧弯曲的方向,一个0.356mm(0.014英寸)的第二半径和一个0.356mm(0.014英寸)的第三半径。图5的所述固定器9和所述端子8以“翼片向下”方向安装在外壳内,这样所述固定器9是邻近于所述外壳1的中间壁13和配合侧50,端子8的配对面50是与中间壁13倾斜。一个固定倒钩23与中间壁过盈配合,保持该固定器9和该端子8在外壳1内。具体参考图1和4,为使固定器9成形成能安装在插头接收腔的第二列53中,显示该端子8弯曲如先前描述的结构。第二列固定器9结构具有一个0.610mm(0.024英寸)的第一半径相对第一列固定器的第一半径弯曲方向,一个0.356mm(0.014英寸)的第二半径和一个0.356mm(0.014英寸)的第三半径。图4的所述固定器9和所述端子8以“翼片向上”方向定位安装在外壳内,这样所述固定器9是邻近在外壳1的中间壁13和配合侧50,所述端子8是与中间壁13倾斜,该高列固定器9也含有一个固定倒钩23,所述倒钩与中间壁过盈配合。所述顶列固定器9进一步含有一个固定凸肩12,如图4清楚显示。该固定凸肩12防止第一屏蔽17与连接器的非配合侧51的端子8短路。该固定器9抵着支撑面14,垂直于外壳1的中间壁13,进一步安置和保持该固定器9在外壳1内。
在该固定器9和该端子8正确地安装在外壳1内之后,该印刷电路板4可以安装在外壳1内和由边缘连接器3所接收。外壳1的垂直平行沟渠引导该印刷电路板4的插入。当该印刷电路板4完全插在外壳1时,该印刷电路板4相反表面的边缘接触点5与边缘连接器3的弹性接点接触。该边缘连接器3的接点伸延至焊接引线7,该焊接引线7用来将边缘连接器焊接在接收印刷电路板上。一种连接所述接收印刷电路板的方法可以是任何已知方法,包括所显示的焊接引线连接和图中并无举例说明的板面式安装连接。该印刷电路板4进一步包含一个模拟或数字或者混合电路的电路系统。在本实施例中,该电路系统取以分离的感应元件电串联在印刷电路板4上的边缘接触件5和金属化区域接触件6之间,该区域接触件6是在印刷电路板4的一表面上,当印刷电路板4由外壳1和边缘连接器3所完全接收时,所述接触件依大小排列并定位成与每一个端子8的接触点11电接触。如图解,该印刷电路板4之一上的电路系统可用于二个插头接收座2,任何一个接收座在模块接插器的第一和第二列52,53。本领域技术人员可以理解,通过在边缘连接器3内接收和互相连接印刷电路板4,该焊接引线7通过介于二者间的电路系统16与模块连接器的端子8电连接在。该端子的曲线结构在端子8和区域接触件6之间提供弹性和可分离的接触。该可分离性允许印刷电路板4在外壳1内安装和除去,以进行电路16的装配、修理或升级。
该模块连接器进一步包括一个三件导电的屏蔽,其包括第一屏蔽17、第二屏蔽18和第三屏蔽19。该第一屏蔽17包括配置在沿着连接器长度的中间墙13上的薄金属片。翼片在第一屏蔽的任何一面相对中间墙13垂直地折弯。所述第二屏蔽18包括一件金属片,该金属片围绕连接器的非配合面51包括该印刷电路板4和在其上的电路16。所述第三屏蔽19围绕外壳1的剩余侧边,并叠合所述第二屏蔽18作完全围绕模块连接器,同时对每个插头接收座2保持开放。

Claims (9)

1.一种模块连接器包括:
一个外壳,
多个端子,设置在所述外壳中,
一个印刷电路板基体,设置在所述的外壳中,所述电路板具有电路和其上的电接触点,所述的端子与所述的印刷电路板基片上的电接触点电接触,和
一个边缘连接器,设置在所述的外壳中并接收所述的印刷电路板基体。
2.如权利要求1所述的模块连接器,所述的外壳包括至少两个分离的插头接收座和至少两组端子,每个插头接收座与相应的一组端子相连接,其特征在于,每组端子与所述的印刷电路板基片是电连通。
3.一种模块连接器,所述连接器包括:
一个外壳,限定多个插头接收座,
多组端子,设置在相应的插头接收座内,
一个印刷电路板基体设置在所述的外壳中,所述的电路板有一个电路和其上的电接触点,所述的端子与所述的印刷电路板基体上的电接触点电接触,和
一个边缘连接器,设置在所述外壳中并接收所述印刷电路板基体。
4.如权利要求3所述的模块连接器,其特征在于,所述连接器还包括多个印刷电路板基体,所述印刷电路板基体与相应的一对插头接收座和端子组连接。
5.如权利要求1-4之一所述的模块连接器,其特征在于,所述连接器还包括在所述边缘连接器上的焊接引线,以连接一个印刷电路板基体。
6.如权利要求1-5之一所述的模块连接器,其特征在于,所述连接器还包括在所述的外壳之上的导电屏蔽。
7.如权利要求1-6之一所述的模块连接器,其特征在于,所述连接器还包括在所述的印刷电路板基体上的模拟电路。
8.如权利要求1-6之一所述的模块连接器,其特征在于,所述连接器还包括在所述的印刷电路板基体上的数字电路。
9.如权利要求1-8之一所述的模块连接器,其特征在于,所述的印刷电路板基体有一个相对于接收印刷电路板基体相垂直的定位。
