Abstract

一种用于石油、地质钻井的牙轮钻头。它是在已有的主要由牙轮、牙掌组成的轴承密封式牙轮钻头中,采用截面形状为X形的密封圈作为轴承密封元件。这种X形密封圈的外径面和内径面上都分别有一对密封凸缘,形成双密封结构。每对凸缘之间有一凹槽,用来存放润滑脂润滑密封面、减小摩擦生热。这种牙轮钻头的密封结构简单可靠,并能适用于较高的转速。

Description

一种牙轮钻头
本实用新型涉及一种石油、地质钻井用轴承密封式牙轮钻头。
目前,在石油、地质钻井中所用的牙轮钻头的轴承密封有二类:第一类是用弹性材料制成密封件,在与配偶件接触时,产生一定的弹性压缩而实现的密封,最典型且最广泛使用的是采用O形橡胶密封圈密封;第二类是用刚性材料组成密封偶件,由橡胶件提供能量使刚性偶件形成的密封面压紧贴合,从而起到密封作用。随着钻井工艺的改进,目前的密封方式存在着一些不足。第一类密封因摩擦系数大,热效应高而使橡胶件易老化,不适合高速转动的牙轮钻头。而第二类密封对密封面要求高,加工复杂,互换性差,成本高。
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种牙轮钻头,它的轴承密封方式不仅能适合较高速转动,而且简单可靠。
本实用新型的目的是这样实现的:牙轮钻头至少是由1个牙掌和1个牙轮组合而成。在牙掌上有承担载荷的轴颈,与牙轮内孔组成轴承。牙轮内孔口部有一密封槽。在其密封槽放置一个用弹性材料制成的X形密封圈,起着阻止轴承腔内润滑脂外泄和外部泥浆浸入轴承内的作用,以保证轴承的良好润滑。由于密封圈的截面为X形,密封圈的外径密封面和内径密封面都有一对凸缘,从而形成了双密封结构,提高了密封的可靠性。每对凸缘之间为一凹槽,内径面和外径面上的凹槽内存放有润滑脂,用来润滑密封面、减小摩擦热,以便增强其较高速转动的适用性。
上述方案与O形橡胶密封圈密封方式相比,同样具有结构简单的特点,但前者比后者更适合高速转动;与前述第二类密封方式相比,本实用新型的方案显然具有结构简单、加工成本低的优点。
下面结合附图和实施例对本实用新型进一步说明。

如图1所示,牙轮钻头至少是由1个牙掌[1]和1个牙轮[2]组合而成。在牙掌[1]上有承担载荷的轴颈[3],与牙轮内孔[4]组成轴承。牙轮内孔[4]口部有一密封槽[5]。在密封槽[5]放置有一X形密封圈[6],该密封圈在自由状态下的截面形状如图3所示,其特征是密封圈外径面上和内径面上都分别有一对密封凸缘[7]、[8]和[9]、[10],每对凸缘之间有一凹槽[11]。在实施中如图2所示,密封圈外径上的一对凸缘[7]和[8]被压缩和弹性弯曲与牙轮密封槽[5]的槽底面贴合,密封圈内径上的一对凸缘[9]和[10]被压缩和弹性弯曲与轴颈[3]贴合,从而起到密封作用。靠轴承一端的凸缘[8]和[10]阻止轴承腔内润滑脂外泄,另一端的凸缘[7]和[9]阻止泥浆浸入轴承腔,从而形成了双密封,提高了密封的可靠性。在凸缘之间的凹槽[11]内存放润滑脂,用来润滑密封面,减小密封面的摩擦生热,以便增强其较高速转动的适用性。

1、一种牙轮钻头,它至少是由一个牙掌和一个牙轮组成,由牙掌轴颈和牙轮内孔组成的轴承是密封润滑的,其特征在于放置在轴承密封部位的密封件是截面形状为X形的密封圈。
2、按权利1所述的牙轮钻头,其截面形状为X形的密封圈,特征是密封圈外径面上和内径面上都分别有2个密封凸缘,每对凸缘之间有一凹槽。
