The protection device of a belt conveyor as claimed in claim 1, wherein the lifting device comprises a sleeve, the sleeve is arranged at the top end of the fixing frame, a rotating shaft is sleeved in the sleeve, the upper end of the rotating shaft is rotatably connected to the frame body, the inner wall of the sleeve is provided with internal threads, and the outer wall of the rotating shaft is provided with external threads corresponding to the threads; the pivot has cup jointed first gear, driving motor is connected with the second gear, first gear with the meshing of second gear.
