Description

本实用新型涉及一种内燃机上使用的活塞环,具体地说涉及一种复合式活塞环。
目前,内燃机活塞多采用多环密封形式,这种结构的活塞环,在高温、高压和高速的工作条件下,由于和气缸壁的正常摩擦,导致气缸内径增大和活塞环的开口扩大,使漏气量增加,压缩比降低,内燃机的功率下降。这种漏气量的增大,还使内燃机产生燃烧不完全、烧机油、冒兰烟、不易起动等现象。
本实用新型的目的是设计一种组合式活塞环,它既能保证活塞和气缸间有良好的密封,又能保证活塞环即使在磨损较严重情况下,仍然能有效地防止活塞环开口的漏气,提高内燃机的效率,降低耗油量,延长使用寿命。
本实用新型的目的是这样实现的:设计一组合式活塞环,它由丄形衬环和矩形平环组成,丄形衬环在中间,矩形平环放在丄形衬环的两边并使环口错位。
本实用新型由于采用了一槽放三环,丄形衬环在中间,矩形平环放在丄形衬环的两边的结构,因此与背景技术相比,具有以下优点:
1、活塞环在使用有效期内,不论环口间隙大小,都不会增加漏气量。
2、能使活塞和气缸间有良好的密封,保持正常压缩比,提高内燃机的效率,延长使用寿命2-3倍,降低耗油量。

下面结合附图对本实用新型的实施例作进一步详细的描述。
如图1所示,丄形衬环(1)和矩形平环(2)用硼铸铁制成,将制得的丄形衬环(1)放在中间,矩形平环(2)放在丄形衬环(1)的两边并将环口错位。
本实用新型能有效地防止漏气的原理为:当复合式活塞环在压缩冲程和膨胀冲程时,上面的矩形平环在混合气体的压力作用下紧紧压在丄形衬环的环面和环壁上,丄形衬环在上面矩形平环的作用下,也将下面的矩形平环紧紧压住,使高压气体无法从环口和活塞环槽底通过,从而达到防止漏气的目的,提高内燃机的效率。
