Referring to fig. 1 and 2, fig. 1 is a schematic perspective view of a modular connection type housing according to an embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 2 is a front view illustrating the modular connection type housing of fig. 1. In fig. 1, the modular connecting type housing 10 forms a receiving space SP, a first combining surface 12 and a second combining surface 14. The receiving space SP is formed inside the modular connection type housing 10 and corresponding surfaces of the first combining surface 12 and the second combining surface 14, which are located outside the modular connection type housing 10. In fig. 1, the first joining surface 12 is located on the right side of the modular joint housing 10 and the second joining surface 14 is located on the left side of the modular joint housing 10.
The modular connection type housing 10 includes a first combining module and a second combining module.
The first combining module includes a latch 122, a guide 124, a first stopper 126, a third stopper 128 and a first locking member 1210. Here, the first bonding module is provided on the first bonding surface 12.
The latch member 122 and the first latch member 1210 are respectively disposed at a front end portion (or front edge) of the first combining surface 12. The guide 124 and the first stopper 126 are disposed at a middle portion of the first combining surface 12. The third stopper 128 is provided at a rear end portion (or rear edge) of the first coupling surface 12.
In fig. 2, the second combining module includes a slot 142, a guiding slot 144, a second stopping member 146 and a second locking member 148. The second joining module is arranged at the second joining face 14.
The slot 142 and the second latch 148 are respectively disposed at the front end portion of the second combining surface 14. Here, the slot 142 corresponds to the latch member 122. The second locking member 148 corresponds to the first locking member 1210. The guide groove 144 is provided at the middle portion of the second combining surface 14 to correspond to the guide 124. The second stopper 146 is provided at a rear end portion of the second joint surface 14.
The description of each part is as follows. Here, referring to fig. 3 and 4 together, fig. 3 is a front view illustrating the combination of two modular connection type housings of fig. 1 according to the present invention, and fig. 4 is a rear view illustrating the combination of two modular connection type housings of fig. 1 according to the present invention.
The guide 124 includes an upper portion 1242 and a lower portion 1244. The upper portion 1242 joins the lower portion 1244. The lower layer portion 1244 is bonded to the first bonding surface 12 such that the lower layer portion 1244 is disposed between the upper layer portion 1242 and the first bonding surface 12, and an area of the upper layer portion 1242 is larger than an area of the lower layer portion 1244. Here, the guide 124 has a circular arc leading edge, which may be referred to as an ellipse-like, a circle-like, a drop-like, an egg-like, etc., and an angle of the circular arc leading edge may range from 0 degrees to 90 degrees, for example.
When the modular connection housing 10 is inserted into another modular connection housing 10 ', the guide 124 of the modular connection housing 10 is inserted into the guide groove 144 ' of a modular connection housing 10 '. The guiding groove 144 'of the modular connection housing 10' is a circular arc groove, which can also be called a C-shaped groove or a U-shaped groove. It is noted that the modular connection type housing 10' and the modular connection type housing 10 have a first combination module and a second combination module. The first combining module of the modular connection type housing 10 ' includes a pin member 122 ', a guide member 124 ', a first stopper member 126 ', a third stopper member 128 ' and a first locking member 1210 ', and the second combining module of the modular connection type housing 10 ' includes a slot 142 ', a guide slot 144 ', a second stopper member 146 ' and a second locking member 148 '. After the guiding member 124 is combined with the guiding groove 144', the guiding member 124 is moved in a direction, for example, a clockwise direction, until the stopping member 126 of the first stopping member is received.
After the guide 124 is combined with the guide groove 144 'and rotated, the first latch 1210 latches the second latch 148'. Here, the first locking member 1210 and the second locking member 148' may be a plurality of wedges. The first locking member 1210 and the second locking member 148 'are arranged in different directions, referring to the enlarged view of fig. 1, in fig. 1, the wedge of the first locking member 1210 extends upward and the wedge of the second locking member 148' extends downward, and the wedge of the first locking member 1210 is combined with the wedge of the second locking member 148 'to lock the first locking member 1210 and the second locking member 148' with each other.
In the present embodiment, referring to fig. 3, the latch members 122,122 'are illustrated as L-shaped and the slots 142, 142' are illustrated as O-shaped. The end of the L-shape includes a tab 1222,1222 'and a notch 1422,1422' is formed in the O-shape. The location of tab 1222,1222 'corresponds to the location of notch 1422,1422'. A tab 1222,1222 'is formed at the end of latch members 122, 122'. For example, in fig. 3, the protrusion 1222 and the notch 1422' are snapped to each other.
Referring to fig. 4, after the guide 124 is combined with the guide groove 144 'and rotated, the third stopper 128 abuts against the second stopper 146'. The third stopper 128 is exemplified by a bump having an inclined surface and the second stopper 146' is exemplified by a stopper having an inclined surface. In addition, in this embodiment, the third stop 128 further provides a stop 1282 (see fig. 1). The stop 1282 is similarly disposed on the first coupling surface 12. After the guide 124 is combined with the guide groove 144 ', the stopper 1282 may stop the separation of the modular connection housing 10 from the modular connection housing 10 ' to reinforce the third stopper 128 against the second stopper 146 '.
It should be noted that the above structures can be replaced to be arranged on different combination surfaces as long as the plug members 122,122 'and the slots 142, 142' are respectively arranged on the corresponding surfaces; the guiding pieces 124 and 124 'and the guiding grooves 144 and 144' are respectively arranged on the corresponding surfaces; the first stoppers 126,126 'are disposed on the same plane as the guides 124, 124'; the third stop parts 128,128 'and the second stop parts 146, 146' are respectively arranged on the corresponding surfaces; and the first latch 1210,1210 'and the second latches 148, 148' are respectively disposed on the corresponding surfaces.
Referring to fig. 5, a schematic diagram illustrating an application of the modular connection type housing of fig. 1 is shown. In fig. 5, the modular connection type housing 10 is a connector combining the terminal 2 and the extension piece 4 for application to, for example, a connector for a vehicle.
Although the embodiments of the present disclosure have been described above, it should be understood that various changes in the form, construction, features, methods and quantities described in the claims may be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure, and therefore the scope of the present disclosure should not be limited by the claims appended hereto.
