a mating connector, the mating connector mating-plugging with the electrical connector along a third direction, the third direction being perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction, comprising:
the fool-proof parts are respectively correspondingly arranged on two sides of the butting connector in the first direction, and the projections of the two fool-proof parts in the first direction are overlapped;
a first plate portion provided at one side of the mating connector in the second direction;
the second plate part is arranged on the other side of the butting connector in the second direction and is arranged at an interval with the first plate part;
in the second direction, the fool-proof portion is located between the first board portion and the second board portion, a first gap is formed between each fool-proof portion and the first board portion, a second gap is formed between each fool-proof portion and the second board portion, and the width of the first gap in the second direction is larger than that of the second gap in the second direction;
the butting connector is spliced with the electric connector, the first plate part and the second plate part are respectively and correspondingly positioned on two outer sides of the shielding part in the second direction, the fool-proof part is contained in the matching part, and the abdicating space is overlapped with the first gap.

The electrical connector assembly of claim 1, wherein: the two sides of the insulating body in the first direction are respectively provided with a protruding part, the protruding parts are positioned on one outer side of the matching parts in the third direction, and the protruding parts are abutted to the matching parts.

the butting connector is electrically connected with the electric connector, the first plate portion abuts against the outer side of the shielding portion, the second plate portion abuts against the outer side of the second side wall, the fool-proof portion is contained in the containing space, the yielding space is located between the fool-proof portion and the first plate portion, and the second side wall is located between the second plate portion and the fool-proof portion.
