技术领域

背景技术

紧凑型超声换能器80的近侧壳体82包括管状主体83a,该管状主体限定中空内部83b;实心半球形近侧盖83c,该实心半球形近侧盖封闭管状主体83a的近侧端部;以及环形凸缘83d,该环形凸缘设置在管状主体83a的外表面周围并且从该外部表面径向向外延伸。近侧壳体82由导电材料形成,并且可一体形成为单件材料,或以其他方式形成为使得近侧盖83a密封到管状主体83a的近侧端部。环形凸缘83d经由外壳20的支撑件23实现紧凑型超声换能器80能够在外壳20内的旋转安装(参见图2)。管状主体83a在超声外科器械10的第二接触件174附近限定大体平滑的表面,使得在管状主体83a与第二接触件174之间保持电连通,不论紧凑型超声换能器80相对于第二接触件1740的旋转取向如何(参见图2)。在管状主体83a的内部环形表面上朝向管状主体83a的远侧端部形成螺纹83e,下文将详述该螺纹的目的。在实施方案中,近侧盖83a的内部面向远侧的表面83f限定多个圆柱形缺口83g,每个圆柱形缺口被构造成以与之互补配合接合的方式在其中支撑压电棒90之一的近侧端部。在其他实施方案中,不提供缺口83g并且表面83f限定平面构型。在任一种构型中,压电棒90的近侧端部经由导电近侧壳体82来与第二接触件174电联接。
紧凑型超声换能器80的远侧变幅杆84由导电材料形成,并且可一体形成为单件实心材料,或可以其他方式形成和/或构造。远侧变幅杆84沿近侧至远侧方向渐缩,并且限定远侧连接器85a,该远侧连接器被构造成例如经由凸-凹螺纹连接来在其中接收波导120的近侧连接器126(图2),从而使远侧变幅杆84(因此紧凑型超声换能器80)与波导120(图2)可操作地联接。远侧变幅杆84还包括螺纹85b,该螺纹在其外部环形表面上朝向其近侧端部形成,下文将详述该螺纹的目的。远侧变幅杆84还在超声外科器械10的第一接触件172附近限定大体平滑的表面,使得在远侧变幅杆84与第一接触件172之间保持电连通,不论紧凑型超声换能器80相对于第一接触件172的旋转取向如何(参见图2)。
远侧变幅杆84另外限定面向近侧的表面85c。面向近侧的表面85c可限定多个圆柱形缺口85d,每个圆柱形缺口被构造成以与之互补配合接合的方式在其中支撑压电棒90之一的远侧端部。在其他实施方案中,不提供缺口85d并且表面85c限定平面构型。在任一种构型中,压电棒90的远侧端部经由导电远侧变幅杆84来与第一接触件172电联接。
隔离密封件86由电绝缘材料形成,并且限定环形构型,该环形构型具有在其外部环形表面上限定的外部螺纹87a以及在其内部环形表面上限定的内部螺纹87b。外部螺纹87a被构造成接合近侧壳体82的螺纹83e,并且内部螺纹87b被构造成接合远侧变幅杆84的螺纹85b,由此使近侧壳体82和远侧变幅杆84彼此密封地接合,从而密封住近侧壳体82的中空内部83b,同时保持近侧壳体82和远侧变幅杆84彼此电隔离。
继续参照图3至图6,如上所指出,压电棒阵列88包括多个压电棒90。压电棒90沿纵向取向的方向布置,与紧凑型超声换能器80的纵向轴线基本上平行(在制造和材料公差内),并且可以径向对称或其他合适的图案布置。虽然示出了六(6)个压电棒90(在图4和图5中,其中没有中心棒)或示出了七(7)个压电棒90(在图6中,其中提供了中心棒),但还可以设想到更多或更少的压电棒90。压电棒90被构造用于定位在近侧壳体82的密封中空内部83b内,且其近侧端部与近侧壳体82的表面83f接触(因此与之电连通)并且其远侧端部与远侧变幅杆84的表面85c接触(因此与之电连通),使得压电棒90受到压缩。
在实施方案中,压电棒90的近侧端部和远侧端部分别接收在缺口83g,85d内起到保持压电棒90处于适当位置的作用。另选地或除此之外,如图6所示,限定多个棒接收容座94的内部仓92可设置在近侧壳体82的中空内部83b内以保持压电棒90处于适当位置。
作为上文详述的构型的结果,紧凑型超声换能器80可限定一定长度,其中在压电棒阵列88的质心与远侧变幅杆84的远侧连接器85a之间的距离为四分之一(1/4)波长。紧凑型超声换能器80可另选地限定四分之一(1/4)波长间隔的更大此类长度。上文详述的构型还密封紧凑型超声换能器80以实现紧凑型超声换能器80进行高压消毒、清洁和/或以其他方式灭菌用于重复使用。
在使用中,在激活后,这些接触件之一(例如,第一接触件172)用作接地(中性)电极,并且另一个接触件(例如,第二接触件174)用作交变充电的(+/-)电极以对压电棒90通电,从而产生超声能量(例如,机械振动运动),该超声能量通过远侧变幅杆84和波导120(图2)从压电棒90传输到刀片124(图1)以利用该超声能量处理组织。

Claims (20)

1.一种紧凑型超声换能器,所述紧凑型超声换能器用于超声外科器械,其特征在于,所述紧凑型超声换能器包括:
近侧壳体,所述近侧壳体限定中空内部;
压电棒阵列,所述压电棒阵列包括多个压电棒,所述多个压电棒彼此径向间隔开并且沿纵向取向的方向布置,所述压电棒阵列设置在所述中空内部内;以及
远侧变幅杆,所述远侧变幅杆包括远侧连接器,所述远侧连接器被构造成接合波导,所述远侧变幅杆被构造成接合所述近侧壳体以将所述压电棒阵列包封在所述中空内部内。
2.根据权利要求1所述的紧凑型超声换能器,其特征在于,所述紧凑型超声换能器还包括密封件,所述密封件设置在所述近侧壳体与所述远侧变幅杆之间,所述密封件被构造成使所述近侧壳体和所述远侧变幅杆彼此接合。
3.根据权利要求2所述的紧凑型超声换能器,其特征在于,所述密封件被构造成使所述近侧壳体和所述远侧变幅杆彼此密封地接合,使得所述中空内部被密封封闭。
4.根据权利要求2所述的紧凑型超声换能器,其特征在于,所述近侧壳体和所述远侧变幅杆至少部分地由导电材料形成,并且其中所述密封件至少部分地由绝缘材料形成以使所述近侧壳体和所述远侧变幅杆彼此电隔离。
5.根据权利要求4所述的紧凑型超声换能器,其特征在于,所述近侧壳体或所述远侧变幅杆中的一者被构造成将在第一电势下的电能传送到所述压电棒阵列,并且其中所述近侧壳体或所述远侧变幅杆中的另一者被构造成将在第二电势下的电能传送到所述压电棒阵列以对所述压电棒阵列通电。
6.根据权利要求1所述的紧凑型超声换能器,其特征在于,所述压电棒阵列限定相对于纵向轴线的径向对称构型,所述纵向轴线贯穿所述紧凑型超声换能器来限定。
7.根据权利要求1所述的紧凑型超声换能器,其特征在于,所述多个压电棒在所述近侧壳体的近侧表面与所述远侧变幅杆的远侧表面之间保持压缩。
8.根据权利要求1所述的紧凑型超声换能器,其特征在于,在所述压电棒阵列的质心与所述远侧变幅杆的所述远侧连接器之间的距离为四分之一波长。
9.根据权利要求1所述的紧凑型超声换能器,其特征在于,在所述压电棒阵列的质心与所述远侧变幅杆的所述远侧连接器之间的距离为四分之一波长的倍数。
10.根据权利要求1所述的紧凑型超声换能器,其特征在于,所述紧凑型超声换能器还包括内部仓,所述内部仓设置在所述中空内部内,并且被构造成在所述内部仓中保持所述多个压电棒。
11.一种超声外科器械,其特征在于,所述超声外科器械包括:
外壳;
波导,所述波导从所述外壳朝远侧延伸;
超声刀片,所述超声刀片设置在所述波导的远侧端部处;以及
紧凑型超声换能器,所述紧凑型超声换能器由所述外壳支撑并且联接到所述波导,使得由所述紧凑型超声换能器所产生的超声能量沿着所述波导传输到所述超声刀片以利用所述超声能量处理组织,所述紧凑型超声换能器包括:
近侧壳体,所述近侧壳体限定中空内部;
压电棒阵列,所述压电棒阵列包括多个压电棒,所述多个压电棒彼此径向间隔开并且沿纵向取向的方向布置,所述压电棒阵列设置在所述中空内部内;以及
远侧变幅杆,所述远侧变幅杆被构造成接合所述近侧壳体以将所述压电棒阵列包封在所述中空内部内。
12.根据权利要求11所述的超声外科器械,其特征在于,所述紧凑型超声换能器还包括密封件,所述密封件设置在所述近侧壳体与所述远侧变幅杆之间,所述密封件被构造成使所述近侧壳体和所述远侧变幅杆彼此接合。
13.根据权利要求12所述的超声外科器械,其特征在于,所述密封件被构造成使所述近侧壳体和所述远侧变幅杆彼此密封地接合,使得所述中空内部被密封封闭。
14.根据权利要求12所述的超声外科器械,其特征在于,所述近侧壳体和所述远侧变幅杆至少部分地由导电材料形成,并且其中所述密封件至少部分地由绝缘材料形成以使所述近侧壳体和所述远侧变幅杆彼此电隔离。
15.根据权利要求14所述的超声外科器械,其特征在于,所述超声外科器械还包括第一接触件和第二接触件,所述第一接触件和所述第二接触件设置在所述外壳内分别与所述远侧变幅杆和所述近侧壳体电接触,所述第一接触件和所述第二接触件被构造成分别经由所述远侧变幅杆和所述近侧壳体将在第一电势和第二电势下的电能传送到所述压电棒阵列以对所述压电棒阵列通电。
16.根据权利要求15所述的超声外科器械,其特征在于,所述紧凑型超声换能器能够相对于所述外壳及所述第一接触件和所述第二接触件旋转,所述第一接触件和所述第二接触件分别保持与所述远侧变幅杆和所述近侧壳体的电接触,不论所述紧凑型超声换能器相对于所述第一接触件和所述第二接触件的旋转取向如何。
17.根据权利要求11所述的超声外科器械,其特征在于,所述近侧壳体包括从近侧壳体径向向外延伸的环形凸缘,并且其中所述外壳包括支撑件,所述支撑件被构造成接收所述环形凸缘以至少部分地将所述紧凑型超声换能器可旋转地支撑在所述外壳内。
18.根据权利要求11所述的超声外科器械,其特征在于,所述远侧变幅杆包括远侧连接器,所述远侧连接器被构造成接合所述波导,并且其中在所述压电棒阵列的质心与所述远侧连接器之间的距离为四分之一波长。
19.根据权利要求11所述的超声外科器械,其特征在于,所述超声外科器械还包括夹持臂,所述夹持臂能够相对于所述超声刀片从打开位置移动到夹持位置以将组织夹持在夹持臂与超声刀片之间。
20.根据权利要求19所述的超声外科器械,其特征在于,所述超声外科器械还包括活动手柄,所述活动手柄与所述外壳相关联并且可操作地联接到所述夹持臂,从而致动所述活动手柄会使所述夹持臂从所述打开位置移动到所述夹持位置。
