目前，所有的斜盘式轴向柱塞泵、马达，不管是定排量的，还是变排量的，滑靴柱塞组件在运动中，滑靴在斜盘上滑动时滑靴主轴线始终垂直于斜盘面，当进一步增大斜盘角度时，滑靴和柱塞的角度也进一度增大，导致柱塞在缸体孔中的侧向力增大，滑靴的倾覆力矩增大，柱塞球头和滑靴球窝的受力点越偏向于滑靴结构中较脆弱的区域，由于以上种种因素都制约着大排量斜盘式轴向柱塞泵、马达的发展。
