为实现这一目的，本实用新型所采用的结构是：一种防侧翻救生船，包括船体，船体上方设有一翻盖，翻盖形状大小与船体相同，翻盖的一侧通过铰链与船体连接，另一侧设有锁扣，翻盖与船体的开口边缘均设有密封条，船体的底部和翻盖的顶部均设有一舱门。
其有益效果是：当发生船体侧翻的时候，将翻盖上的舱门关紧，船体整个倒转可任浮在水面上，打开船体底部的舱门即可透风。
