现有的钢水浇铸用下水口砖，是在一个空芯砖体的圆周表面上从上到下设计成直径依次缩小的三段，上段与中段之间呈斜面过渡，下段呈锥形，在圆周表面的三段上共同包套有一个钢护套，在钢护套与砖体外壁之间粘固有一层火泥。这种传统的结构，因砖体外表下部呈锥形，浇钢水时溅出的钢水会通过对接间隙粘固在钢护套上，影响连续使用，造成浪费。
发明内容：
本实用新型的目的是提供一种能有效防止钢水飞溅到钢护套上，不影响连续工作，使用寿命长的下水口砖。
本实用新型的技术方案是以如下方式完成的，一种下水口砖，它包括有一个下水口砖砖体，其特征在于：砖体的锥形段是一个与工件对接口内径相匹配的锥形段，在锥形段以上的砖体圆周表面上包固有一层钢护套，在钢护套与砖体之间连接固定有耐火材料层。
