目前有一种适合矿山、冶金、电力、建材和机械制造等行业的耐磨衬板,比如在物料(铁矿石、煤炭等)装卸机械料斗系统中使用,使用部位有卸船机大料斗、导料板、落料回收板、斗轮机中心料斗、中继皮带挡板、斗轮圆弧耐磨板、斗轮铲斗唇口、皮带机料斗、转接料斗、移动小车料斗、翻板及火车装矿楼等易磨损部位。
虽然上述耐磨衬板能够有效避免物料对易磨损部位的磨损,但是由于利用的防磨损机理是用耐磨衬板将物料与易磨损部位隔开,所以在实际应用中,不仅耐磨衬板会磨损消耗,而且用于将耐磨衬板和易磨损部位相互连接的螺栓也非常容易受到磨损,磨损的部位主要是螺栓的在位于本体的磨损面上的一端,螺栓的磨损消耗会导致耐磨衬板和易磨损部位连接不牢固等安全隐患,从而使整套系统可靠性降低。
