本实用新型涉及一种电池。
背景技术
目前,锂离子电池等动力电池以其重量轻、体积小、容量大等优点,誉为便携电子设备以及电动车用的理想电源。这些电池在低温环境中的工作性能比较差,比如,锂离子的最佳工作温度在15℃到35℃之间,而在0℃以下时,电池的充放电性能和循环寿命,特别是电池的充电性能,会受到很大的影响。比如在-20℃时,电池的容量只能充50%-60%,而且在充电过程中,很容易损坏电芯,使电池不能再次使用。
为使电池在低温条件下也能正常充放电且不对电池的性能和循环寿命造成负面影响,当前,通常使用正温度系数(PTC)加热片并辅以风机、风道等所提供的外界热风先对电池进行加热,在电池的温度上升到可接受的温度以上,如10℃以上时,再对电池进行充放电。
但是,现有的这种依靠加热片所提供的外界热风来使电池工作温度上升的技术,所使用的设备复杂,需要风机和风道,这将占用很大的空间;并且热量从加热片传递到空气再传递到电池的过程中,能量损失比较大,既要保证电池与热风之间的热传导,还需要能量来维持风机的工作,这就导致了额外的电能消耗。
实用新型内容
本实用新型针对现有技术中的电池加热的技术所采用的加热设备复杂、能量损耗大的缺点,提出了一种电池,对该电池进行加热,不需要风机等额外设备,具有结构简单、节省能量的优点。
本实用新型提供的一种电池,该电池包括外壳、极芯和电极引出结构,极芯位于外壳中,电极引出结构的一端位于外壳内部并连接极芯,另一端位于外壳外部,其中,所述电池还包括发热器件,该发热器件的外壁与电极引出结构位于外壳外部的部分相接触且彼此绝缘。
本实用新型提供的电池,由于具有发热器件且将发热器件与电池的电极引出结构直接连接,省去了现有技术中利用外部的加热片产生的热风对电池加热所需要的风机和风道,节省了空间,同时,热量从发热器件直接传递到电池引出结构,缩短了传导路径,提高了热传导效率并减少了热量的损失,并且,该电池在加热时不需要风机来提供风速,节省了风机所消耗的能量,因而在加热时,本实用新型提供的电池相比于现有技术中的电池,具有加热设备简单且能量损失小的优点。

具体实施方式
如图1-图5所示,本实用新型提供的一种电池,该电池包括外壳1、极芯和电极引出结构2,极芯位于外壳1内部,电极引出结构2的一端位于外壳1内部并连接极芯,另一端位于外壳1外部,其中,所述电池还包括发热器件4,该发热器件4的外壁与电极引出结构2位于外壳1外部的部分相接触且彼此绝缘。
所述发热器件4可采用本领域技术人员所公知的任何正温度系数(PTC)加热器,且该PTC加热器为热传导型加热器件。所述PTC加热器包括从内到外嵌套的陶瓷加热电阻、绝缘层和外壳,PTC加热器一般采用金属外壳以利于传热,内部陶瓷加热电阻与外部金属外壳是通过中间绝缘层而相互绝缘的,金属外壳一般可采用铝材料。PTC加热器内部的陶瓷加热电阻与金属外壳之间是绝缘的,在正常工作情况下,PTC加热器与电极引出结构2之间是绝缘的,两者的直接接触不会带来短路危险。
所述发热器件4与电极引出结构2之间的连接可以通过多种方式,比如粘接、铆接、螺纹连接、焊接等,并保证发热器件4和电极引出结构2之间能进行热传导。采用粘接方式时,所述电池还包括粘接件,发热器件4通过粘接件粘接到电极引出结构2上,所述粘接件可以为导热胶,该导热胶是导热系数较大且具有较强粘性的材料。所述电池还可以包括铆钉,发热器件4通过铆钉铆接到电极引出结构2上,这种铆接方式比较牢固,多用在电池使用环境较恶劣的情况,铆钉的材料可采用不锈钢。所述发热器件4和电极引出结构2上可以分别具有螺纹连接件,所述发热器件4通过螺纹连接件连接到电极引出结构2上,采用螺纹连接时,螺纹连接件可以是金属材料也可以是PA66等塑料材料。
目前,电池的形状主要有方形和圆柱形两种,相应地,方形电池具有的电极引出结构2为方形的电极引出片,而圆柱形电池具有的电极引出结构2为圆柱形的电极引出柱。这样,所述发热器件4可以配合电池的电极引出结构2的形状而定制不同的形状。例如,如图1-3分别显示了本实用新型的一种实施方式提供的电池的主视图、俯视图和左视图,对于该如图1-图3所显示的方形电池来说,采用了片状的发热器件4,例如PTC加热片,且该发热器件4可以通过导热胶3紧贴方形的电极引出片,如图4-5分别显示了本实用新型的另一种实施方式提供的电池的剖视图和俯视图,对于该图4-5所显示的圆柱形电池来说,采用了环状的发热器件4,例如PTC加热环,且该发热器件4可以通过导热胶3环绕紧贴圆柱形的电极引出柱。
使用本实用新型提供的电池时,在温度较低的情况下,如-20℃,先给作为发热器件4的PTC加热器通电,该PTC加热器将电能转化为热能,以热传递的方式将热量传给电极引出结构2,又以热传递的方式传到电池的内部电芯,从而使电芯的电化学物质的活性增强,以保证电池的充放电性能和电池的循环寿命。在到达预定温度后,如10℃,断开PTC加热器的电源,此时再对电池进行充电,就不会对电池的性能和循环寿命造成负面影响。

Claims (9)

1、一种电池,该电池包括外壳(1)、极芯和电极引出结构(2),极芯位于外壳(1)中,电极引出结构(2)的一端位于外壳(1)内部并连接极芯,另一端位于外壳(1)外部,其特征在于,所述电池还包括发热器件(4),该发热器件(4)的外壁与电极引出结构(2)位于外壳(1)外部的部分相接触且彼此绝缘。
2、根据权利要求1所述的电池,其特征在于,所述发热器件(4)为正温度系数加热器。
3、根据权利要求2所述的电池,其特征在于,所述正温度系数加热器包括从内到外嵌套的陶瓷加热电阻、绝缘层和外壳。
4、根据权利要求1所述的电池,其特征在于,所述电池还包括粘接件,发热器件(4)通过粘接件粘接到电极引出结构(2)上。
5、根据权利要求4所述的电池,其特征在于,所述粘接件为导热胶(3)。
6、根据权利要求1所述的电池,其特征在于,所述电池还包括铆钉,所述发热器件(4)通过铆钉铆接到电极引出结构(2)上。
7、根据权利要求1所述的电池,其特征在于,所述发热器件(4)和电极引出结构(2)上分别具有螺纹连接件,所述发热器件(4)通过螺纹连接件螺纹连接到电极引出结构(2)上。
8、根据权利要求1所述的电池,其特征在于,所述电池为方形电池,所述电极引出结构(2)为方形的电极引出片,所述发热器件(4)为片状且紧贴所述方形的电极引出片。
9、根据权利要求1所述的电池,其特征在于,所述电池为圆柱形电池,所述电极引出结构(2)为圆柱形的电极引出柱,所述发热器件(4)为环状且环绕紧贴所述圆柱形的电极引出柱。
