背景技术
本发明可以用来有利地包装卷烟,以下以卷烟为例进行说明,仅仅出于举例的目的。
更具体的来说,本发明涉及用于包装烟草产品的装置,其包括折叠单元,用于围绕各个物品折叠一片包装材料以形成具有两个叠加部分的包装;以及第一传送器,用于将包装在第一方向沿着第一路径进给。该装置还包括加热头,用于通过向两个所述部分传热将它们连接起来;以及第二传送器,用于将加热头在第一方向上进给,从接触台开始到撤回台,沿着平行于第一路径的至少一部分的第二路径,与包装同步并接触。
背景技术
上述类型的已知装置,诸如在专利申请WO 0249918 A1中记载的装置,其缺点是相对复杂,昂贵,笨重,并且需要极大的精确维护,导致可观的停工时间。
其他已知的用于包装物品的装置包括:具有若干圆周座的包装轮,每个包装轮在每个工作周期中,将各组卷烟和来自输入台的各张包装材料沿着基本圆形的路径的工作分支传递到输出台,并且沿着基本圆形的路径的返回分支返回到输入台。
这种装置包括第一类型的实施形式,其中,各个加热头与各个座关联;以及第二类型的实施形式,其中,若干加热头位于沿着工作分支的基本固定的位置,例如,在美国专利US 4887408中记载的那样。
两类实施形式都有缺陷。
第一类实施形式包括较大数目的加热头,其沿着返回分支没有被利用;并且这样的装置相对昂贵,并且维修复杂:大量的加热头必须同时起作用。
在第二类实施形式中,加热头和包裹材料片是相对短的,从而包裹材料片不会一直正确地围绕各组卷烟固定。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种方法和装置,设计用于至少部分地消除上述缺点,并同时廉价而易于实施。
根据本发明,提供一种包装物品的方法,包括以下步骤:将包装材料片围绕各个物品折叠以形成具有至少两个叠加部分的包装;在第一方向沿着第一路径输送包装;以及,通过由至少一个加热头向两个叠加部分传热将所述两个叠加部分连接在一起,所述加热头在第一方向上沿着平行于第一路径的至少一部分延伸的第二路径从接触台进给到撤回台,与包装同步并接触;该方法的特征在于,包括将加热头横向于所述第一路径和所述第二路径移动,从而使加热头接近包装并在接触台与叠加部分接触;将加热头横向于所述第一路径和所述第二路径移动,从而使加热头在撤回台从包装撤回;以及沿着所述第二路径在与第一方向相反的第二方向将加热头从撤回台输送到接触台。

具体实施方式
图1中的附图标记1指出用于将翻盖卷烟(未示出)烟盒2(示意性示出)包装在热密封包装材料片层3中的装置的整体。装置1包括进给轮4,用于将烟盒一次一个地进给到传送器5,其在方向A上沿着路径P1将烟盒2从输入台6进给到输出台7;以及折叠单元8,用于将各个包装材料片层围绕各个烟盒2折叠以形成包装9,特别是筒形包装,该包装具有两个叠加部分10和11(图8-10)。装置1还包括进给单元12,用于在输入台6供给包装材料片层3;以及传送器13,用于将加热头14在方向A上沿着平行于第一路径P1的一部分的路径P2进给,从而使得在每个工作周期中,各加热头14与各包装9同步并与其接触。每个加热头14都用于通过向各个包装9的两个部分10和11传热而将其密封。

传送器13包括轮20,其围绕轴线16旋转并与若干液压促动器或其他类型的促动器21整体配合。各个促动器21支撑各加热头14,并且将各个加热头14横向于路径P1和P2移动,具体来说是相对于轴线16径向移动。
应该指出,加热头14设置成一行,并且间隔开,使得在使用中,相邻的加热头14能够接触到相邻的包装9。
在另一个未示出的实施例中,传送器13包括一个液压促动器或者其他类型的促动器,用于将支撑件横向于路径P1和P2移动,具体来说是相对于轴线16径向移动,其中加热头14整体配合于该支撑件。
现在将描述装置1的工作,参照加热头14分别位于各个接触台22的例子。
此时,各个促动器21将各加热头14朝着各个包装9移动并与其接触(图1)。
一旦各加热头14与各个包装9接触,轮15和20在方向A上步进旋转,直到在一排加热头14中前导的加热头14′位于紧靠输出台7的上游位置(图2到5)。
此时,各加热头14位于各个撤回台23,此处各促动器21将各个加热头14从相关的包装9撤回。
一旦加热头14从各个包装9撤回,轮20反转以在与方向A相反的方向B上将各个加热头14连续地从各个撤回台23沿着路径P2进给到各个接触台22(图6、7)。
应该指出,前导加热头14′的接触台22′基本上与在一排加热头14中的拖尾加热头14″的撤回台23″重合或(在另外的实施例中)位于其下游。在图示的实施例中,接触台22′位于紧邻撤回台23″的下游处。
还应该指出,轮20将加热头14在方向A上以第一速度V1输送,将加热头14在方向B上以大于第一速度V1的第二速度V2输送。
更具体的说,速度V1和V2的关系如下式:

其中V1是第一速度;V2是第二速度;n是加热头14的给定数目;以及m是小于n的整数。在所示实施例中,n等于6,m等于2,且速度V1和V2的关系如下式:

当n大于1时,m优选等于1;在该情况下,为了装置1良好工作,接触台22′基本上与撤回台23″重合。
装置1的具体的设计和工作原理通过在各个加热头14和相应的包装9之间保持相对延长的接触,获得了部分1O、11的最高质量的密封。而且,装置1包括相对少的加热头14,其在使用中沿着短路线行进并由相对直的、紧凑的传送器13移动。
应该指出,尽管所示的实施例包括六个加热头14,装置1甚至可以仅包括一个加热头14并且优选地有至少两个加热头14。
在未示出的其他实施例中,装置1包括折叠和密封部件,用于将完全稳定的包装材料片层3围绕各个烟盒2折叠。
还应该指出,尽管所示的实施例和附图是关于用于在热密封材料片层3中包装烟盒2的装置1的,但是本发明的教导还可以适用于将涂覆有热固和/或热融粘结剂的纸材料的片层3固定。

而且,在未示出的另外的实施例中,烟盒2的纵边和/或横边可以是非方形倒角或斜角的边缘。例如,纵边可以是非方形倒角或斜角边缘,或者(如专利申请EP-A1-0764595中记载的卷烟烟盒),主要的横边可以是非方形倒角或斜角边缘;或者某些纵边和横边可以是非方形边缘,从而具有非方形倒角或斜角的纵边和横边。
