技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于在对记录介质进行读写的设备中执行预编程记录的方法,并且涉及使用该方法的音频/视频设备。
背景技术
诸如VCR(录像机)、DVD(数字多功能盘)记录机、或HDD(硬盘驱动器)记录机的许多音频/视频设备提供计划记录的可能性,即,指定记录应该开始的时间。具体在DVD记录机中,当记录完成时除了主要记录记录机还开始产生记录专用数据,例如,标题和缩略图,然后将其存储在记录介质上。这导致了这样的问题:当两个记录是紧接的,即,第二个记录在第一个记录之后马上或者很段的时间内就开始,产生标题和缩略图所需要的时间导致记录之间的时间间隙。这种时间间隙在一分钟的范围内,即,用户可以感知的时间。
发明内容
因此,本发明的目的是提出一种用于执行预编程记录的方法,其能够处理由不足以产生记录专用数据的时间间隔所分离的连续的预编程记录。
根据本发明,通过一种用于在对于记录介质读写的设备中执行预编程记录的方法来实现本目的,每个记录需要在记录会话结束时产生记录专用数据,其中在由不足以产生记录专用数据的时间间隔所分离的连续的预编程记录的情况中,将连续的记录作为单个记录处理并且当该单个记录完成时产生记录专用数据。对记录介质读写的典型设备是DVD记录机。在这种记录机中当预编程记录完成时需要产生菜单数据、缩略图等而消耗时间。当前可获得的记录机在连续的记录之间需要至少30秒的暂停。这可能导致丢失部分用户想要记录的数据。根据本发明的方法具有这样的优点:在连续的记录之间不需要暂停,即,不丢失内容。当然类似地还可以将这种方法应用于其他类型的光介质的记录机,HDD记录机等。
最好,在产生记录专用数据之前将单个记录分割为独立的记录。这具有下面的优点:尽管在单个记录会话中记录,但是可以将该记录作为独立记录处理,其允许记录的更加容易的导航和编辑。为了容易地发现用于分割单个记录的位置,最好在单个记录的分割要被进行的位置记录标识符。

最好,在当前预编程记录的结束时间处终止要被记录的数据的子单元,并且在连续的预编程记录的开始时间处开始要被记录的数据的新子单元。例如,在MPEG编码记录新的I帧时,在连续记录的开始时间处开始新的GOP(画面组)或者新的单元。对于其他压缩或者记录标准可以使用类似的子单元。这种措施极大方便了将记录分割为两个独立的记录,从而减少了完成总的记录过程所需要的时间。
最好,在用于记录所述记录专用数据的连续的预编程记录之间的边界处留出记录介质的某个区域不被记录。这允许将记录专用数据紧挨着记录在其所属的记录之后。
最好,使用可变时间间隔来确定连续的预编程记录之间的时间间隔是否不足以产生记录专用数据。例如,可变时间间隔可以取决于在单个记录中包括的预编程记录的数量和/或数据量。这就允许进行这样的考虑:长的预编程记录比短的预编程记录需要更多的时间来产生记录专用数据。此外,将单个记录划分为连续的多个记录也需要一定的时间量,必须对此进行考虑。

Claims (9)

在由不足以产生记录专用数据(12)的时间间隔分隔的连续的预编程记录的情况下,将连续的记录作为单个记录处理,并且当完成单个记录时产生记录专用数据(12)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中在产生记录专用数据(12)之前将单个记录分割为分离的记录(11)。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的方法,其中所述记录专用数据包括菜单、章节信息、缩略图、和导航信息中的至少一个。
