在220和230,用户分别选择特定的游戏和交互的级别。如上所述,旁观者交互级别包括旁观者参与的级别,以及参与可能对玩家和/或对在线游戏环境产生的影响。在240,以选定的参与级别给旁观者提供对在线游戏的访问。在旁观期间,提供商系统记录下合理费用以及与在线游戏相关联的其它记录。例如,如果允许旁观者与活动的玩家进行交互以协商材料或服务的销售额,那么该系统就记录下为获得所述材料或服务而向旁观者收取的费用,以及每个活动的玩家根据协商的销售额向这个旁观者应付的报酬。在优选实施例中,利用游戏时间积分来实施这些付款,以便刺激后续的游戏参与。在260,当用户终止当前会话时,该系统返回到210,以便告知用户其它的当前或未来的游戏。
在优选实施例中,当前和将来的游戏都是以类似于为电视节目而设的EPG的“电子节目指南”(EPG)格式提供的。当用户选择一个游戏时,旁观者利用远程游戏领域中常见的技术来配置该提供系统,以便下载便于高效交互的图形文件及其它程序文件。
上文仅仅举例说明了本发明的原理。因此,将会认识到的是:尽管在此未明确地描述或示出,但本领域技术人员将能设计出具体化本发明的原理的各种布局,且由此落入其精神和范围内。例如,尽管在独立旁观者的情况下给出了本发明,但是可以将所述系统配置成能在向活动的玩家给出影响之前,合并来自多个旁观者的反应。同样,可以通过诸如聊天室建立旁观者群体,并且可以向活动的玩家提供群体反应。通过使用多屏幕显示技术,旁观者可以参与到多个游戏中,并同时还与一个或多个旁观者群体进行通信。鉴于本公开内容,这些及其它系统配置和最佳化特征对于本领域的普通技术人员来说是显而易见的,并且都被包含在下列权利要求的范畴内。

Claims (26)

1.一种向用户提供娱乐的方法,包括:
在由一个或多个活动的玩家(110)实现的在线游戏上,接收(220)来自将要成为旁观者的用户(120)的请求;以及
向与在线游戏的活动相对应的用户(120)提供(240)刺激。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中:
所述刺激包括至少下列其中之一:
听觉刺激、视觉刺激和触觉刺激。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法,进一步包括:
接收来自用户(120)的反馈;以及
向一个或多个活动的玩家(110)中的至少一个活动的玩家(110)提供反馈。
4.如权利要求3所述的方法,其中:
所述反馈包括至少下列其中之一:
听觉反馈、视觉反馈、触觉反馈和游戏内环境的变化。
5.如权利要求3所述的方法,其中:
所述反馈与对一个或多个活动的玩家(110)中的至少一个活动的玩家(110)的协助措施相对应;以及
所述至少一个活动的玩家(110)的表现特性至少部分地以所述协助措施为基础。
6.如权利要求3所述的方法,其中:
在正把与在线游戏相关的信息传送到至少一个活动的玩家(110)的接收装置的同时,实现把反馈提供到至少一个活动的玩家(110)。

实现用户(120)与一个或多个活动的玩家(110)中的至少一个之间的交易。

实现用户(120)与一个或多个其他旁观者(120)之间针对在线游戏的通信。

根据用户(120)和一个或多个其他旁观者(120)的综合反馈来修改游戏。
14.计算机程序,当在计算机系统上执行该计算机程序时,令计算机系统:
从在线游戏的一个或多个活动的玩家(110)那里接收玩家输入;
根据玩家输入来更新在线游戏的状态;
根据在线游戏的状态,向一个或多个活动的玩家(110)发送更新后的游戏信息;以及
根据至少下列其中之一,向一个或多个旁观者(120)发送更新后的旁观者信息:
玩家输入,和
在线游戏的状态。
15.如权利要求14所述的计算机程序,其中:
所述旁观者信息包括至少下列其中之一:
听觉信息、视觉信息和触觉信息。
16.如权利要求14所述的计算机程序,其进一步令计算机系统:
从一个或多个旁观者(120)那里接收旁观者输入;以及
向一个或多个活动的玩家(110)中的至少一个发送旁观者输入。
17.如权利要求14所述的计算机程序,其进一步令计算机系统:
从一个或多个旁观者(120)那里接收旁观者输入;以及
根据旁观者输入来进一步更新所述在线游戏的状态。
18.如权利要求14所述的计算机程序,其进一步令计算机系统:
从一个或多个旁观者(120)那里接收旁观者输入;以及
根据旁观者输入来更新一个或多个活动的玩家(110)中的至少一个的表现特性。
19.如权利要求14所述的计算机程序,其进一步令计算机系统:
使一个或多个旁观者(120)之间的通信方便进行。
20.如权利要求14所述的计算机程序,其进一步令计算机系统:

处理(220)用户(120)从可玩的在线游戏之中对在线游戏做出的选择;以及
允许(240)用户成为在线游戏的一个或多个旁观者(120)中的一个旁观者(120)。
22.一种在线游戏系统,包括:
在主机系统(130)上实现的第一软件组件,其被配置成能响应于来自在线游戏的一个或多个活动的玩家(110)的输入来控制在线游戏;
在一个或多个活动的玩家(110)的每个计算机系统上实现的第二软件组件,其被配置成能再现与一个或多个活动的玩家(110)中的每一个相对应的在线游戏的状态,并能把来自一个或多个活动的玩家(110)中的每一个的输入传送到主机系统(130)。
所述第一软件组件进一步被配置成能响应于来自一个或多个活动的玩家(110)中的每一个的输入来修改在线游戏的状态;以及
在在线游戏的一个或多个旁观者(120)的每个计算机系统上实现的第三软件组件,其被配置成能再现与一个或多个旁观者(120)中的每一个相对应的在线游戏的状态。
23.如权利要求22所述的在线游戏系统,其中:
所述第三软件组件还被配置成能把来自一个或多个旁观者(120)中的每一个的反馈传送到主机系统(130)。
24.如权利要求23所述的在线游戏系统,其中:
所述第一软件组件进一步被配置成能响应于来自一个或多个旁观者(120)中的至少一个的反馈来修改在线游戏的状态。
