Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明大体涉及一种斜切锯,更具体的,涉及一种能够在滑动和/或非滑动式斜切锯中提高切割能力的结构。
背景技术
滑动式斜切锯是本领域中公知的,因为它可以提供比非滑动式斜切锯更大的切割范围。参照图1,非滑动和滑动式斜切锯都具有基座11、附连在基座上的可旋转工作台12、锯组件20,所述锯组件包括电机21、由电机驱动可绕轴线A旋转的刀片22、覆盖电机21的覆盖壳体23、覆盖刀片22上部分的上刀片护罩24以及可枢转地附连在上刀片护罩24上以覆盖刀片21的下部分的下刀片护罩25(以虚线示出)。因此,锯组件20向下枢转以切割置于基座11和工作台12上的工件。
此外,滑动式斜切锯使用户能够沿着工作台水平地移动锯组件。如图2所示,大多数滑动式斜切锯通过以下方式实现这种移动,即,将上防护罩24连接到枢转臂(并因此将锯组件20连接到枢转臂),该枢转臂又和耳轴13相连,该耳轴至少和一个导轨14固定相连,该导轨可滑动地附连到和工作台12相连的支承壳体15上(参见,例如US专利6067885)。利用这种结构,用户可以向前拉动锯组件20、向下移动锯组件20,并随后向后推动锯组件20以便切割工件W。

发明内容
根据本发明,提供了一种改进的斜切锯。该斜切锯包括基座、附连到基座上的可旋转工作台、连接到工作台上的锯组件,所述锯组件包括电机、由电机驱动而可绕轴线旋转的刀片、覆盖刀片的上部分并具有底面的上刀片护罩、以及连接到上刀片护罩上的壳体,并且该壳体具有设置在轴线下方的底面,其中,在沿着轴线靠近上刀片护罩的第一点处的、壳体和上刀片护罩中的至少一个的底面与轴线之间的第一距离小于沿着轴线的第二点处的、壳体和上刀片护罩中的至少一个的底面与轴线之间的第二距离,所述第二点比第一点离上刀片护罩更远。

现在参照附图说明本发明,附图中,相同的附图标记指代相同的元件。本领域技术人员应该认识到,本发明以滑动式斜切锯为例进行解释,其也能够应用于非滑动式斜切锯。
参照图3到图5,优选地,滑动式斜切锯10包括基座11、可旋转地连接到基座11上的工作台12、枢转地连接到工作台12上的支承壳体15、至少一个(优选两个)可滑动地连接到支承壳体15上的导轨14、附连到导轨14一端上的耳轴13以及锯组件20,该锯组件包括枢转地附连到耳轴13上的枢转臂26、电机21、由电机21驱动而可绕轴线A旋转的刀片22、用于覆盖刀片22上部分的上刀片护罩24以及可枢转地附连到上刀片护罩24上以覆盖刀片22下部分的下刀片护罩25。优选地,电机21附连到上刀片护罩17上。这些所述元件都是本领域内已知的。请本领域技术人员参考US专利6067885,该专利文献被在此引为参考。
滑动式斜切锯10还可以具有附连到基座11上的可移动支架组件(fenceassembly)40。优选地,可移动支架组件40横向延伸穿过工作台12,工件放置在所述工作台上并被其支承,在工作台上执行切割操作。可移动支架组件40可以包括附连到基座11上的固定支架41和连接到固定支架41上的可移动支架42。优选地,可移动支架42可滑动地附连到固定支架41上。请本领域技术人员参照US专利5297463和US专利5943931,所述专利文献在此被引为参考。
电机21可以被附连到上刀片护罩24上的覆盖壳体23覆盖。该覆盖壳体23可以覆盖电机21和/或任何设置在电机21和刀片22之间的传动机构。覆盖壳体23可以具有下或底面23S,该面优选地低于轴线A。类似地,上刀片护罩24可以具有下或底面24S,该面可以低于轴线A。
优选地,刀片22安装在主轴16上,该主轴延伸进入覆盖壳体23并由电机21驱动。主轴16可以由轴承17、18支承。刀片22可以利用设置在刀片22两侧上的夹持件26、27夹持到主轴16上,并由螺栓28保持到位,该螺栓最好螺纹旋入主轴16。
希望对主轴16下方的体积的形状进行设定,以使切割能力最大。因此,通过控制轴线A和底面23S和/或24S之间的距离可以形成凹陷(pocket)30。具体地,希望确保轴线A与在上防护罩24附近沿着轴线A的点X处的底面23S和/或24S之间的距离D1’小于轴线A与在沿着轴线A的点Y处的底面23S和/或24S之间的距离D2’。优选地,点Y比点X离上刀片护罩24更远。此外,点X和Y沿着轴线A设置在刀片22的同一侧上。
通过以如上方式控制距离,可产生凹陷30。优选地,对于带有直径大约为8.5英寸的刀片的斜切锯而言,凹陷30的高度和宽度大约分别是3.33英寸和1.744英寸。利用如此的结构,用户可以以大约42度到48度的斜切角切割垂直放置在支架组件40上的31/4″基模(base molding)。当斜切锯20放置在支架附近并在切砍操作中向下移动、而不是越过工件滑动时,可以实现所述切割。
本领域技术人员应该认识到,可以根据设计要求和说明书等改进凹陷30的尺寸和形状。
本领域技术人员应该认识到,除此处公开的实施例外,本发明还有其他或备选的实施例。但是,所有的这些其他和/或备选的实施例都应认为是本发明的等价物。
Claims (10)
1、一种斜切锯,包括:
基座;
可旋转地附连到基座上的工作台;
连接到工作台上的锯组件,该锯组件包括电机、由电机驱动并可绕轴线旋转的刀片、覆盖刀片的上部分并具有底面的上刀片护罩、以及连接到上刀片护罩上的壳体,并且该壳体具有设置在轴线下方的底面;
其中,在沿着轴线靠近上刀片护罩的第一点处的、壳体和上刀片护罩中的至少一个的底面与轴线之间的第一距离小于沿着轴线的第二点处的、壳体和上刀片护罩中的至少一个的底面与轴线之间的第二距离,所述第二点比第一点离上刀片护罩更远。
2、如权利要求1所述的斜切锯,其中,刀片具有第一和第二侧,所述第一和第二点设置在刀片的同一侧的轴线上。
3、如权利要求1所述的斜切锯,其中,所述壳体覆盖所述电机。
4、如权利要求1所述的斜切锯,其中,锯组件还包括支承刀片的主轴。
5、如权利要求4所述的斜切锯,其中,所述壳体局部覆盖所述主轴。
6、如权利要求1所述的斜切锯,其中,所述锯组件通过枢转地连接到工作台上的支承壳体连接到工作台上。
7、如权利要求6所述的斜切锯,还包括至少一个可滑动地和支承壳体相连的导轨。
8、如权利要求7所述的斜切锯,还包括固定地连接到至少一个导轨上的耳轴。
9、如权利要求8所述的斜切锯,其中,所述锯组件可枢转地连接到耳轴上。
10、如权利要求1所述的斜切锯,其中,所述壳体限定了在所述主轴下方的凹陷。
