Abstract

电子标签的一个特征是通过通信线圈(1)它们能够在不需电接触的情况下进行读和写。读出头可以位于离电子标签一定距离的地方并通过电磁波和标签通信。当这些标签是放在金属物体上时,由于电磁波在物体中的散射,读数变得困难甚至不可能。为了克服这个缺点,本发明提出对线圈(1)加入一个电磁传导元件(3,3′)以隔离线圈(1)并提高接受质量。

Description

电子标签
本发明涉及电子标签的领域,更具体地讲,涉及设计用来放在金属物体上的标签。
电子标签是指这样一个组合,它至少有一个支座,一个天线以及一个电子学芯片。根据需要,该组合能包含几个天线或几个芯片。人们发现它们采取纽扣,芯片卡,以至行李标签的形式。由于它们的天线,电子标签能够和远处的读出装置通讯。这些天线不仅用作通信的手段,还产生必需的能量来供应电子学芯片。
某些标签不含有电子学芯片而是包含如电阻器或熔断器这样的无源元件。它们被用来识别物体,例如在反盗窃应用中。
根据该实施方案,天线被嵌入柔性支座或者在该支座上直接雕刻或挖切出来。
有很多种芯片,它们随着其功能不同而不同,例如某些芯片只允许信息的读出而另外一些芯片允许存储器的记录和修改。后者除了其他理由外尤其被用于电子货币卡应用,该应用显然需要读/写特征以便根据使用者的消费对其内容进行修改。
另外一种重要的应用领域是对物体的识别。事实上,在一个自动生产线上,自动化设备必需准确知道在它前面是什么部件。在这类应用中的趋势是用带有电子芯片的标签去取代“条形码”标签。这就不仅允许物体的识别而且倒过来让物体能记住它已经经历过那些生产步骤。
然而,这类应用由于物体的性质而出现问题。事实上,这些标签是按照磁场相连的原理工作的,如金属物体邻近它们,由于要吸收进行通信的电磁波,这些标签的工作将被干扰。
为了克服这个缺点,必须把标签读出装置放在靠近标签几毫米的距离以恢复通信。
在某些应用中,人们很容易想象这样的距离限止对于例如具有角状轮廓的物体能出现严重的弊端。
已经有一些解决办法,在这些解决办法中,这种标签包含一层导电层。例如在文件US5,920,290中就有这种情况,该文件一种实施方案中描述了一天线和一导电薄片的组合以产生一共振电路。其结构能够用金属涂层以及用碳供给得到的这样一薄片的目的表明获得此薄片的目的和方法与本应用的目标是完全不同的。
其他文件描述了在电子标签内用一层导电层来构成电子学信号路径的必需通道。在文件WO00/03354中就有这种情况,该文件是关于通过组装不同的层来生产TAG的。关于这些导电层,文件中没有提到磁反射器的功能。
本发明的目的是提出一种电子标签,其读出距离明显改善以便允许读出头所在位置不必那么准确。
本目的是用这样一种电子标签来得到的,该标签至少有一个电子学元件和一个线圈,其特征在于该线圈在它的一侧包含一个磁性反射元件。
电子学元件是指一片电子学芯片或像熔断器或电阻器这样的无源元件。
该元件放在读出器传输侧的对侧。有了这个元件,磁场就向读出器反射而不再在金属物体中散射。
该元件的位置和形状起重要作用。
在本发明的一种变型中,该磁性反射元件被处理成薄层的形式并明显的和线圈有相同的尺寸。在线圈和薄层之间的距离根据得到最佳研究特性来确定。
按照另一个实施方案,该薄层稍越出线圈的表面,从而产生一种边缘效应,使磁场能够被捕获,这样就增加了可接受的读出距离。
检测表明薄层的形状和距离取决于电子标签的特性功能,尤其是传输频率。由于有了这磁性薄层,就可能以这类应用的一个可以接受的距离去读放在金属部件上的标签。
该薄层可以有非平面的几何形状,例如它可以越过线圈的边缘。根据要求,该薄层可以有开口,其形状由被研究的磁学特性确定。
该薄层可以以一事先确定的距离,例如用一绝缘层,直接放在线圈下面。
参照作为非限制性例子的附图,下述详细的叙述将能更好的了解本发明。
-图1表示带有根据本发明的保护薄层的一个电子标签。
-图2表示带有磁性保护环的一个电子标签。
在图1中给出电子标签的一个截面,读者可以区分出示意的线圈1及电子学芯片2。请注意虽然该芯片位于线圈内部,但它也可以位于由线圈确定的表面外面。
在线圈1下方,放着磁性反射薄层3,其间由绝缘层4隔开,而该绝缘层确定了线圈和磁性薄层之间的距离。该绝缘层的存在对于得到所要的效果并不是必需的;磁性反射层能够直接放在线圈下方。
该薄层3放在读出装置(用场线F来示意)的对面,也即在具有金属特性物体上的标签的应用一侧。
这一组合可以嵌入树脂中或包在二片保护薄层中。该电子标签的形状能够像一张卡,一个纽扣或安装在一柔性支座上。
根据本发明的一种变形,如图2所示,该磁性反射薄层可以有只放在线圈周边的其他形状。这个元件可以做成例如铁氧体环3′的形式或做成导磁机械压贴薄层,其中心包含着线圈。
如果磁性元件不在线圈下方而在其邻近周边,仍然有磁通量集中器的效应。为此目的,注意到这一点是有用的,即磁性元件没有必要环绕线圈整个周边。在线圈周边的一个部分上使用这样一个元件已经观察到积极的结果。
这个实施方案不排斥在周围元件以外再用例如前面所述的放在线圈下方的磁性薄层。甚至于可以把这两部分做在一起。

Claims (11)

1.一种电子标签,至少包含一个电子学元件和一个线圈,其特征在于该线圈至少包括一个磁性反射元件,它由电-磁传导元件构成。
2.按照权利要求1的电子标签,其特征在于磁性反射元件复盖线圈表面的全部或一部分。
3.按照权利要求1的电子标签,其特征在于磁反射元件稍大于线圈的表面。
4.按照权利要求1到3的电子标签,其特征在于磁反射元件包含三维形状。
5.按照权利要求1到4的电子标签,其特征在于磁反射元件在其表面上包含一个或几个开口。
6.按照权利要求1的电子标签,其特征在于一个第一磁性反射元件位于线圈1的全部周边或部分周边。
7.按照权利要求6的电子标签,其特征在于磁性反射元件包含一个第二部分,它覆盖线圈表面的全部或一部分。
8.按照权利要求7的电子标签,其特征在于该磁性反射元件的第二部分稍大于线圈的表面。
9.按照权利要求7和8的电子标签,其特征在于该磁反射元件的第二部分包含三维形状。
10.按照权利要求7到9的电子标签,其特征在于该磁反射元件的第二部分在其表面上包含一个或几个开口。
11.按照权利要求7到10的电子标签,其特征在于该磁反射元件的第一部分和第二部分做成单一的部件。
