发明概述

如同超过发明一样，没有管理员密码的孩子们和其他的人不能改变简档或者暂时超出阻塞，并且已经输入了由控制系统接受的密码的管理员能输入(A)被解除阻塞的一个或多个特定广播节目，(B)针对一个或多个特定时间周期的被解除阻塞的一个或多个频道，(C)对于一个特定时间周期的一个修改的等级简档，(D)一个修改的开销，和/或(E)一个修改的观看时间限制。超出限制最好显示在有效超出的一个列表上，如同超过发明一样。超出列表适用于屏幕上观看直到时间周期被完成。由管理员设置用于超出的时间周期，或者根据一个特殊节目的时间由处理器得到的时间周期被安排时间广播。
最好是编程处理器以显示解除阻塞的节目和频道的一个状态列表以及相应的时间周期，或者显示用于一个简档的剩余开销许可的状态。
按照本发明，可以通过制造商预置系统默认值以解决由根据最大限制指令或最小限制指令的冲突超出指令。然而最好是，提供允许管理员选择的一个菜单选项以改变冲突解决默认值，以便可以遵循冲突超出指令的最小限制和最大限制。

详述本发明
本发明将针对发明的一个优选实施例进行示例，但不应该认为本发明仅限于此。例如，将示例一个电视接收机，但本发明也可以应用于其它类型的视频处理系统，比如那些具有显示设备的，例如电视机，和那些没有显示设备的，例如直接广播卫星(DBS)接收机和视频接收机(例如VCR)。通常，本发明可以应用于诸系统，装置，或设备，它们使用等级控制，开销限制，观看时间限制和/或其他的准则来允许和拒绝访问视频或音频广播或记录。
如图1中的方框图所示，其中在系统中一个简档是有效的，通过处理器12运行标准可观看测试11以确定开始是否节目是可观看的15或是不可观看的17。处理器接收由管理员先前已经输入的当前事件信息13和当前用户的简档14。

参考图1，示例的超出测试逻辑被编程以使用超出列表16中的信息并应用超出列表16和应用超出测试A19，如果标准限制测试11允许15观看，或者是超出测试B20，如果正常限制测试11不允许17观看。超出测试A被示例在图2中。测试A和测试B内是多个超出冲突解决程序，示例在图2中，其中系统处理器21首先核查哪个模式是有效的，也就是说，最小限制22或最大限制23。

Claims (7)

2.按照权利要求1的装置，其中冲突解决系统允许管理员按照最大限制或最小限制决定来选择解决冲突。
3.按照权利要求1的装置，进一步包括装置，按照指令显示解除阻塞的节目或频道的一个状态列表和相应的时间周期，万一在多个指令之间有冲突，进一步按照冲突决定。
