用于电子设备的控制装置
本发明公开了一种用于控制电子设备的装置。
本发明特别公开了一种用于控制下述类型的电子设备的装置,该设备包括一个控制装置,所述控制装置具有至少两个相反的横向顶部选择区域。
通常,诸如移动式电话或集成器等电子设备由一个其中设置有特定键盘的外壳、一个显示装置和一个控制光标在显示装置上移动的装置组成。
显示装置能显示可能非常不同的字母数字信息,例如符号或字母,但也可以是象形图、图形或图像。
以下情况是经常发生的,即移动电话上的显示装置显示可能是符号和/或字母等的象形图或字符,它们分布在几条显示行或显示列上,并能代表电话功能用语。
移动电话具有很多功能。为了管理它们,公知的方法是采用下拉式菜单,这种菜单的复杂性增加了功能的数量。因此,选择所需功能时的简单和快速就成了这类设备的人机工程学上的重要特征。

在公知的方式下,控制装置可包括两个按键。

通过光标导航来进行选择的功能与前述选择功能相同。对所选功能的确认操作包括向按键的顶壁施加垂直控制力以使之垂直向下平移,使得所有的底部触发区域同时与面对电子开关的触发元件配合。这样,触发元件的同时动作就能确认所选的功能。
这种控制装置的尺寸较小。这是因为它仅需要与选择方向相同数量的开关。那一确认所选功能的附加功能由同时激发那些与每一选择方向对应的开关来实现。但是,其实很难或者几乎不可能以可靠的方式实施这种操作。
在确认操作时,经常发生控制力相对于控制装置中心产生偏离或者偏心的现象。在这种情况下,在垂直平移期间,控制装置稍稍倾斜,就在每一底部与相应的触发元件配合的时间间隔内产生轻微的位移。因此,代替了确认所选功能的操作,施加确认力将导致意外选择其他功能。
在功能选择时,这种缺乏可靠性的操作是不可接受的。

因此,控制装置就能仅以四个电子开关28实现五个不同的功能。
这种系统的可靠性是最佳的。这是因为中央区域70位于离底部部件72和74距离相等的位置上,因此,当向中央区域70施加力时,两底部部件72和74在向下移动过程中,它们的自由端仍然保持在水平面内。
因此,在两底部部件72和74与对应的触发元件配合过程中能够防止任何偏移的危险。
这样就允许两部件80和82回复到空位,控制装置60有弹性回复装置,这个装置就是开关28的触发元件26。该触发元件26是弹性拱形盖的形状。因此按下拱形盖时,为了恢复原先形状,每一拱形盖都具有回复到他们的初始位置的趋势。
由于顶部挡块的作用,部件80和82向上回复的距离是有限的。

上述的本发明第一实施例不是限制性的。
根据图8和图9所示的第二实施例,控制元件60的形状是带有四条臂的星形。星形的每条臂都对应于光标在屏幕52上的移动方向。
每一臂的自由端都承载着对应的横向选择区域62到68,以使光标在臂的方向上移动。
该实施例所述的控制装置的功能与上述第一实施例的功能类似。
在变化型式中,控制装置是多功能的。在这种情况下,根据装置10的操作模式,激发选择区域62至70能够触发不同的功能。
例如,星形控制元件60能够构成键盘的一个部件。
这样,当电话10处于“拨号”模式功能时,按压选择区域62至68以及中央确认区域70,就能够拨电话号码。
当电话处于“导航”模式功能时,按压横向选择区域62至68,就能够在屏幕上移动光标,按压中央区域70就能确认所选择的功能。
根据图10所示的控制装置的第三实施例,第一部件80具有两个横向选择区域,例如62和64。第二部件82承载着两个底部部件72和74,以及中央确认区域70,该区域70以与第一实施例相同的方式设置在中央立柱84的顶部自由端面上。
这种控制装置使得光标能够在屏幕上向两个相反方向移动,并能够确认那个由激发中央区域70所选择的功能。
因此,为了实现三个不同的功能,这种装置仅需要两个电子开关,这两个开关并未在这些图中显示。另外,将控制元件60设计成两部件80、82的形式,并通过在两底部部件62、64与相应的触发元件配合期间防止任何偏离的危险,保证了其功能的可靠性。
上面给出的描述并非限制性的。这是因为还可以设想出许多变化型式。
例如,第一部件可以承载更多的横向区域和对应的底部部件。特别是在控制装置要控制光标在以45°分布的八个方向上移动的情况下更是如此。
第二部件还可以承载两个以上的底部部件。

Claims (8)

1.一种用于控制下述类型的电子设备(10)的装置,所述类型的装置包括一个控制元件(60),该控制元件具有至少两个相反的横向顶部选择区域(62,64,66,68),可以对所述区域施加控制力,并且每一区域都对应于一个底部触发区域(72,74,76,78),所述触发区域能够与对应的电子开关(28)的触发元件(26)配合,在所述类型的装置中,所述控制元件(60)安装成当有一个力施加在顶部选择区域(62,64,66,68)之一或另外一个上时,能够绕着选择轴线(A1,A2)倾斜的形式,所述轴线沿着垂直于两个开关(28)的连线方向的方向延伸,并且所述控制元件能够在一个中间空位和两个相反的选择位置之间运动,使得对应的底部触发区域(72,74,76,78)与对应的触发元件(26)配合并激发第一或第二选择功能,在所述类型的装置中,控制元件(60)安装成当向控制元件(60)的第三中央确认区域(70)施加确认力时,能够在垂直于连线以及选择轴线(A1,A2)的方向上在竖直确认方向上平移,并且在空位和按下位置之间运动,其中两相反的底部触发部件(72,74,76,78)同时与两个相应的触发元件(26)配合,以激发该装置的确认功能,其特征在于,控制元件(60)制成两个部件(80,82),其第一顶部部件(80)承载着至少所述两个横向确认区域(62,64,66,68),其第二底部部件(82)承载着至少所述两个底部触发部件(72,74)并具有中央立柱(84),所述立柱垂直穿过第一部件(80)并且其顶部自由端面构成了第三中央确认区域(70)。
2.如前述权利要求所述的控制装置,其特征在于,第一部件(80)具有四个横向选择区域(62,64,66,68),它们绕着中央确认区域(70)以90°的角度分布,并且每一区域都对应于一个底部部件(72,74,76,78),并且四个底部部件(72,74,76,78)由第二部件(82)承载,这样,当向中央确认区域(70)施加确认力时,四个底部部件(72,74,76,78)同时与相应的触发元件(26)配合以激发确认功能。
3.如权利要求1所述的控制装置,其特征在于,第一部件(80)具有四个横向选择区域(62,64,66,68),它们绕着中央确认区域(70)以90°的角度分布,并且每一区域都对应于一个底部部件(72,74,76,78),并且两个相反的底部部件(72,74)由第二部件(82)承载,另外两个相反的底部部件(76,78)由第一部件的底面承载,这样,当向中央确认区域(70)施加确认力时,两个由第二部件承载的底部部件(72,74)同时与相应的触发元件(26)配合以激发确认功能。
4.如前述任一权利要求所述的控制装置,其特征在于,它具有用于使两个部件(80,82)弹性回复到抵靠在形成其空位的顶部挡块上的装置。
5.如前述任一权利要求所述的控制装置,其特征在于,第二部件(82)的顶部挡块是第一部件(80)的底面(96)。
6.如权利要求4或5所述的控制装置,其特征在于,弹性回复装置属于对应的电子开关(28)。
7.如前述任一权利要求所述的控制装置,其特征在于,它具有引导第二部件垂直平移的装置,以使当中央区域(70)受到控制时,帮助其承载的激发部件(72,74,76,78)与相应的触发元件(26)同时配合。
8.一种包含如前述任一权利要求所述的控制装置(60)的电子设备,其特征在于,它包括GSM式的移动电话。
