本发明涉及一种扬声器,且更具体地说,涉及弯曲波(bending-wave)平板型扬声器,例如,在PCT申请WO97/09842中所描述的。这种扬声器被公知为分布模式或DM扬声器,或简称为DML。
背景技术
弯曲波平板从两侧发出声音辐射,即,为偶极的,并使扬声器在房屋内更容易地定位,例如,抵靠墙壁,来自平板的后侧辐射可以通过利用围绕平板周边的柔性悬挂物或环绕材料将平板安装于密封盒体或壳体内而予以阻挡。这防止了从反射表面向平板后面的任何有害干扰。平板悬挂物或环绕材料可以为两侧具有胶带的柔性泡沫橡胶或塑料带,以便其可以固定到平板和盒体二者上。
然而,在这种结构中,在盒体或壳体内可以建立驻波,其不利地影响平板的频率响应。这些驻波可以通过在盒体或壳体内填充例如柔软泡沫的声音吸收装置而减缓,该吸音器可以接触弯曲波平板或盒体或壳体的背面。柔性聚酯或聚醚泡沫对于这种应用来说是合适的。用于DML型弯曲波平板的公知方案为在壳体内利用柔性泡沫带作为悬挂物或环绕物,且在壳体内利用单独的声音吸收装置。
发明内容
根据本发明,提供了一种扬声器,其包括在壳体内的弯曲波平板,其中,该平板环绕悬挂物系统和声音吸收装置是整体的。从而,用作吸音器的柔性泡沫可以被压缩到围绕平板周边的所需厚度,以形成柔性环绕物,而泡沫的中心区域保持未压缩,以允许其形成有效的声音吸收装置。

在图1中,示出了现有技术的弯曲波平板扬声器1,图中具有弯曲波扬声器1,该扬声器包括通过例如弹性泡沫橡胶或塑料的环绕物或悬挂物4安装在外壳或壳体3中的弯曲波平板2。从而,平板2的外表面5可以辐射声音,同时,来自壳体3内平板表面6的声音辐射被限制在壳体中,并被声音吸收装置泡沫7吸收。振动激励器8固定到平板2上以向平板发射弯曲波能量,导致平板共振而产生声音输出,如在WO97/09842中所教导的。

对于整体的吸收装置/悬挂物4、7的制造过程可以如下所述:
1.围绕平板周边施加一层粘结剂(例如环氧树脂、聚丙烯或氰基丙烯酸盐);
2.将未压缩泡沫切割成所需尺寸;
3.在压缩工具的一半内定位泡沫并在相对一半内定位平板;
4.施加适于泡沫材料的热量和压力以压缩并使围绕的粘结剂固化并在平板和环绕材料之间形成有效粘接;
5.从压缩工具去除一部分;
6.然后,平板环绕物(包括平板和声音吸收装置)可以例如被粘结固定或机械夹紧到盒体背面上,以形成完整的单元。
围绕周边压缩泡沫就将其从适于作为吸收装置的疏松颗粒(open-cell)改变成被压缩形态,在此,各颗粒被压缩成只有非常小的声音功率穿透周边的程度。这就确保了后辐射与前辐射的隔离。
从而,本发明提供了一种新型结构,因此,泡沫环绕物和声音吸收装置被合并为一单独元件,该元件可以轻易被形成,并用简单的压缩工具固定到平板上。这种新型结构减化了用在封闭背面支撑中的DML等的制造过程。
Claims (3)
1.一种扬声器,包括弯曲波平板、其内安装弯曲波平板以封闭平板的一个表面的壳体、在平板和壳体之间的柔软的悬挂物,平板通过该悬挂物支撑在壳体内、连接到平板上的振动激励器,以向平板施加弯曲波能量、以及在壳体内的声音吸收装置,以减小壳体内的驻波,其特征在于,柔软的悬挂物和声音吸收装置是整体的。
2.如权利要求1所述的扬声器,其特征在于,整体的声音吸收装置和柔软的悬挂物为柔软泡沫材料。
3.如权利要求2所述的扬声器,其特征在于,与形成声音吸收装置的区域相比,在形成柔软悬挂物区域内的柔软泡沫材料被压缩。
