Abstract

一种便携式无线终端,包括安装在主体顶面的键板和用于在显示屏上移动箭头的指向装置。该指向装置包括:形成在主体一侧的凹部;安装在凹部中的球;用于检测球的转动位移以向处理器输出信号的传感器。在该便携式无线终端中,屏幕上的箭头可以根据球的转动自由、快速并简单地移动。这方便了便携式无线终端的使用。

                  技术领域
本发明涉及一种便携式无线终端,特别是一种带有指向装置(pointingdevice)的便携式无线终端,通过该指向装置,可以在图解的用户界面的基础上有效地使用应用程序。
                  背景技术
近来,如移动电话或PDA等便携式无线终端被广泛地使用。这种便携式无线终端适于在图解的用户界面的基础上使用应用程序,并且通常都设置有有效地使用应用程序的指向装置。
如图1所示,相关技术的便携式无线终端在键板1上包括2个或4个按键2,作为执行卷动功能的指向装置。另一种方案是,相关技术的便携式无线终端包括在一个方向可动地安装在主体的一侧或整个表面上的滚轮(未示出)。
然而,鉴于图解的用户界面的特征,在按键操作模式中,通过手指反复地操作几个按键而使箭头在竖直或水平方向上移动。在这种情况下,产生不便于输入数据的问题。滚轮操作模式较按键操作模式方便。然而,仍然会产生只能在直线方向(竖直或水平方向)移动箭头的问题。
为解决这些问题,提供了一种将个人电脑的鼠标直接与无线终端相连的模式。然而,在该模式中,使用者总是要携带一个单独的鼠标,很不方便。
                     发明内容
因此,本发明的主要目的在于提供一种便携式无线终端,指向装置整体地安装在其中,从而箭头可以在如液晶显示屏的显示器上自由、快速且简单地移动,由此提供便利。
为了实现本发明的上述目的,提供了一种便携式无线终端,包括安装在主体顶面上的键板和用于在显示屏上移动箭头的指向装置,其中,该指向装置包括:形成在主体一侧的凹部;安装在凹部中的球;用于检测球的转动位移以向处理器输出信号的传感器。
优选的是,凹部形成在主体的底面或顶面,支架绕凹部安装以支承球,从而球的一部分从主体的表面露出。
在上述构型中,当该便携式无线终端与表面接触时,用户移动该便携式无线终端或直接转动球,使得箭头在屏幕上自由、快速、简单地移动。这方便了便携式无线终端的使用。

                     具体实施方式
下面参照附图详细描述带有根据本发明实施例的指向装置的便携式无线终端。
图2为带有本发明第一实施例的指向装置的便携式无线终端的透视图,图3为图2中便携式无线终端的底视透视图。
如图2所示,根据本发明第一实施例的便携式无线终端包括主体11、形成在主体11顶面的键板11a。两个输入按键15形成在键板11a上。如下所述,输入按键15作为鼠标的输入按键。
如图3所示,半球形凹部14形成在主体11的下表面。球12和传感器(未示出)形成在凹部14中。球12作为指向装置。传感器检测球12的转动位移。环形支架13绕凹部14形成以支承球12。支架13的内径小于球12的直径,使得球12的一部分露出主体11的表面而不会从凹部14中脱离出来。传感器将对应于球12的转动位移的信号输出到安装在主体11中的处理器(未示出)上。
在上述构型中,如果用户移动便携式无线终端,该便携式无线终端与如衬垫表面、桌面或手掌表面之类的表面接触,球12被转动,传感器向处理器输出对应于球12的位移(即,二维位置位移)的信号。处理器处理来自传感器的信号输出,从而使箭头在屏幕16上相应于球12的转动而移动。如果箭头到达液晶屏16上的所需位置,用户点击输入按键15,输入按键15以与台式计算机鼠标的输入按键相同的方式形成在键板11a上,这样可以选择或搜索所需的菜单。
球12和传感器的信号处理电路、响应传感器的信号输出而移动箭头的处理器中处理信号的方法与众所周知的台式电脑中的鼠标相同。因此省略其详细描述。
图4为带有本发明第二实施例的指向装置的便携式无线终端的透视图。
参照图4,在本发明第二实施例的便携式无线终端中,凹部14a形成在主体11的顶面,指向装置安装在凹部14a中。指向装置包括球12a和传感器(未示出)。在该实施例中,指向装置以与第一实施例相同的方式构成。然而,在第二实施例的便携式无线终端中,用户直接转动球12a,使得箭头在各个方向上自由移动。这与第一实施例相比更加方便。
如上所述,在本发明中,包括球12或12a和传感器的指向装置安装在便携式无线终端主体11的底面或顶面上。当该便携式无线终端与表面接触时,用户移动该便携式无线终端或直接转动球,使得箭头在屏幕16上二维地移动,从而滚动到所需的菜单。这使得箭头可以自由、快速、简单地移动,从而便于使用。
尽管已经描述了本发明的优选实施例,但可以理解:本发明并不限于这些优选实施例,在所要求保护的本发明的精神和范围内,本领域的普通技术人员可以进行各种变化和改型。

Claims (6)

1.一种便携式无线终端,包括安装在主体顶面的键板,用于在显示屏上移动箭头的指向装置,该指向装置包括:
形成在所述主体一侧中的凹部;
安装在所述凹部中的球;以及
用于检测球的转动位移以向处理器输出信号的传感器。
2.如权利要求1所述的便携式无线终端,其特征在于,所述凹部形成在所述主体的底面中。
3.如权利要求1所述的便携式无线终端,其特征在于,所述凹部形成在所述主体的顶面中。
4.如权利要求1所述的便携式无线终端,其特征在于,还包括绕凹部安装以支承球的支架,从而球的一部分从所述主体的表面露出。
5.如权利要求1所述的便携式无线终端,其特征在于,所述键板设置有输入按键。
6.一种结合有鼠标功能的便携式无线装置,包括:
主体,其具有顶面和底面,并在其顶面上具有显示器;
鼠标型球和传感器装置,它们结合到所述底面和底面中的一个上;
位于所述顶面上的至少两个按键,其在功能上与所述鼠标型球和传感器装置的左右键对应。
