Abstract

Description

具有功率输入调节的数据载体
本发明涉及到具有至少一个发送/接收天线以及连接在其后的用于对至少一个电路单元准备提供供电电压的整流电路的数据载体,特别是芯片卡,其中将电路单元供电电压端子与电压调节器并联。
在WO 97/08651已知一种这样的数据载体。在已知的数据载体上涉及到组合的芯片卡,其内部的电子电路不仅可以由接触区而且可以由集成线圈驱动。经过天线线圈无接触驱动时为驱动内部电路所需要的能量是由线圈接收的电磁场提供。此时所提供能量的波动很大,因为原则上能量是依赖于数据载体或者芯片与提供能量的记录/阅读站之间的距离。
这提出了一个问题,因为在任何时间必须为数据载体提供所希望功能的必要的能量。开发很好的电路在能量供应变坏可能出现错误功能之前结束其功能。
一般来说是这样设计无接触数据载体电路,当所要求的最大有效距离时提供的功率够电路使用。当数据载体或者芯片卡与记录/阅读站的距离比较小时当然提供了多余功率,多余功率被并联电压调节器输入和因此无用地损失掉。
本发明的任务是改进一种分级的数据载体,使其尽可能最佳地与现实的功率供应相匹配。
此任务是在分级的数据载体中这样解决的,电压调节器有一个输出端,在其上可以量取与电压调节器的调节信号成正比的信号,和将这个输出端与可控制的节拍信号发生器的控制输入端相连接,节拍信号发生器为至少一个电路单元准备提供节拍信号。将有利的扩展结构叙述在从属权利要求中。
本发明是以下面的知识为基础的,电的或者电子的电路回路的功率输入是与节拍频率有关的,特别是随着节拍频率的增加而增加。将节拍信号发生器用本发明方法构成为可控制的,这样通过控制信号可以改变节拍信号的频率。控制信号是从并联调节器的调节信号中得到的。特别是利用与多余电流成正比的信号作为控制节拍信号频率的尺度。这可以用有利的方法借助于电流镜像电路完成。在本发明有利的构造中将节拍信号发生器实现为电压控制的振荡发生器。
下面借助于附图的实施例详细叙述本发明。
附图表示了按照本发明的数据载体重要部分的原理图,特别是将数据载体可以构成为芯片卡。
为了输入能量和数据交换安排了天线线圈SP,其终点与整流电路GR连接。在整流电路的输出端子上为位于供电电压导线1、2上的电路回路S1、Si提供供电电压VDD、VSS。符号“i”在这里根据在数据载体上安排了多少电路回路为2与n数目之间。为了稳定由整流电路GR提供的供电电压VDD、VSS将调节电路RS与电路回路S1、Si并联。
在被表示的例子中这个调节电路RS是由作为电压检测器的电压分配器R1、R2构成的,将其中间抽头经过调节放大器RV与位于供电电压VDD、VSS之间的第一个晶体管T1的栅极接头相连。当供电电压增加时对第一个晶体管T1进行控制,这样将比较大的电流部分通过第一个晶体管T1传导出去。用这种方法将供电电压VDD保持在恒定的数值上。
在扩展结构中调节电路RS也可以-没有表示-包括阈值检测器,用于识别,如果供电电压VDD降为最小允许值以下时和输出一个信号,通过这个信号将所有的电路S1、Si关闭。
此外在附图上表示的按照本发明的数据载体有一个构成为可控制的节拍信号发生器TSG,这样在其输出端准备提供的节拍信号C1的频率是与位于其控制输入端的控制信号电平有关的。
用本发明的方法现在这个控制信号是与调节电路RS的调节信号成正比的。此外在表示的例子中将第一个晶体管T1构成为电流镜像电路的一部分。这个电流镜像电路的第二个晶体管T2将与流过第一个晶体管T1的多余电流成正比的信号提供给其漏极接头。如果第二个晶体管T2的漏极接头与节拍信号发生器TSG的控制输入端相连时,将这个信号输入给节拍信号发生器TSG。
本发明不仅限于被表示的实施例。这样为了输入必要的能量或者为了数据交换替代被表示的天线线圈SP可以使用任意的适合的天线。特别是微波天线也是可以考虑的。
代替被表示的简单调节电路RS可以采用对于技术人员来说常用的和对于所希望的目的似乎适合的并联调节电路。
电路回路S1、Si例如可以是微处理器或者其他的逻辑电路以及任意类型的存储器。特别是可以将所有电路集成在一个半导体芯片上。也可以想象,将电路分配在多个芯片上。

Claims (3)

1.数据载体,特别是芯片卡,具有至少一个发送/接收天线(SP)以及后置的整流电路(GR)用于对至少一个电路单元(S1,Si)准备提供供电电压(VDD,VSS),其中将电压调节电路(RS)与电路单元(S1,Si)的供电电压端子并联,
其特征为,
电压调节电路(RS)有一个输出端,在其上可以量取与电压调节电路(RS)的调节信号成正比的信号,
并且,这个输出端是与可控制的节拍信号发生器(TSG)的控制输入端相连的,节拍信号发生器对于至少一个电路单元(S1,Si)准备提供节拍信号(C1)。
2.按照权利要求1的数据载体,其特征为,
电压调节电路(RS)是由位于供电电压端子之间的第一个晶体管(T1)构成的,第一个晶体管与第二个晶体管(TS2)构成为电流镜像电路,其输出接头是与节拍信号发生器(TSG)的控制输入端相连的。
3.按照权利要求1或2的数据载体,其特征为,
节拍信号发生器(TAG)是一个电压控制的振荡发生器。
