本发明涉及一种包含卡读出器的部件。
业已知道使用一种包含与计算机有关的卡读／写装置的部件，使得该装置当连上计算机后可以在计算机与置于装置内的卡之间传送信息。
应当注意，术语卡读出器是作为卡读／写装置的通用术语使用的。在下文中，卡读／写装置例如为智能卡(SmartCard)。
众所周知，卡读出器可以结合于计算机键盘。然而该解决方案有这样的缺点，即复杂并因而昂贵。该解决方案还有另外的缺点，即当希望操作的计算机扩展为包含卡读出器时，需要用新的键盘替换已经使用的键盘，并且如果键盘与卡读出器中的一个出现故障必须两者同时更换。
该解决方案还有其他的缺点，即用户选择键盘的自由受到限制。原因是想要包含卡读出器的键盘的用户不得不选择该种键盘并不得不限制对其键盘作出的其他要求，这类要求例如可能是希望一种特殊的人体工程学设计。
卡读出器还可以结合于一种分离的可连接于计算机的部件。然而这种解决方案有严重缺点，除相对昂贵外，还意味着额外地占用计算机周围的空间。因此，当希望给卡读出器提供一个中心位置以便容易接触该卡读出器时，如果它是一个额外的连接部件则经常会遇到困难。
此外，卡读出器还可以组合在计算机本身的机箱内。但这需要专业人员安装，而这阻碍了用户将卡读出器安装于计算机内。该卡读出器还要占用计算机机箱内存在的有限数目的插槽之一，并且占用了的插槽即不能用于在计算机内安装其他部件。
因此，本发明的一个目的是提供一种在已公开部分中所提类型的部件，它克服了前述缺点。
根据本发明，这通过实现权利要求1特征部分所述的方法而达到。
本发明是基于这样的情形，业已知道，因计算机的使用而利用鼠标时要使用鼠标垫。鼠标垫置于鼠标之下，通过在鼠标球与该球所放置的基底之间提供要求的摩擦力而使鼠标运动时该球滚动，从而保证鼠标运用自如。
但根据本发明的部件通过鼠标垫构成时，这尤其可以保证，在使用中，该装置放置于鼠标之下，因而读／写部件具有所希望的相对于计算机的中心位置，而且克服了含现有技术读／写装置的部件的其他缺点。
一个有利实施例释义于权利要求2中，所述卡读／写装置由一种智能卡(SmartCard)部件构成。

本发明涉及能够从卡上读出信息的装置，在卡上写入信息的装置，以及能够在卡上同时进行读写信息的装置。
应当注意，在下文中，术语卡读出器是作为卡读／写装置的通用术语使用的，卡读／写装置例如为智能卡(SmartCard)。在所述实施例中，卡为智能卡(SmartCard)，卡读出器因而是用于智能卡的卡读出器。在下文中，该部件称作智能卡读／写部件。
在下文中，该部件还分别被称作产品、鼠标垫以及智能卡垫(Scardpad)，该部件为具有一体化的智能卡读／写部件。智能卡垫通过电缆(RS232或USB)与PC相连。智能卡垫的上边具有广告图案。应当注意智能卡垫可以以多种方式与计算机相连。例如，连接可以实现为通过计算机内串行端口或并行端口与智能卡垫连接，连接还可以通过USB口实现，USB口是一种用来连接多个部件(通常多至63个)至计算机的特别类型通信口。计算机与智能卡垫之间的连接在计算机与智能卡垫中的卡读出器之间建立了一条链路，使得数据可以在计算机与置于卡读出器内的卡之间进行传输。
所有将来要使用与各种应用有关的智能卡，例如家庭银行事务、因特网贸易、加密等等的PC用户，都将需要与他们的PC设备相结合的智能卡读／写部件。今天，绝大多数PC用户为视窗(Windows)用户，他们因而必须使用鼠标以便在各种应用中定位。于是对于今天使用视窗的92％的所有PC用户(Microsoft，Denmark所声称)中的大部分将是必需品。
智能卡垫还是周边设备之一，它不依赖于PC用户配置的其他部分，于是当PC更换时不必更换此设备。
但最重要的是，智能卡垫是一种独特的“广告展示台”，并且如此便宜，使得当新的应用要介绍给用户时，多数公司和团体能够利用其作为广告礼物。例如，当他们发行现金卡、VISA卡时，可以包括一个智能卡垫，于是他们的用户将可以立即通过因特网进行现金购买而不会有任何安全风险。当作过介绍后，喜欢自己在因特网上做生意的用户不得不出资购买一个智能卡读／写部件，这些部件可以商业购买，而这相对昂贵。
智能卡垫构造成象常规鼠标垫，除了有一个智能卡读／写部件镶入(粘合)在垫子的泡沫橡胶中间层。基层在其上粘有不打滑的底面，还有一个顶层，顶层是鼠标定位球在其上移动的层。该顶层可用于广告(图标、文字、画面等等)。
智能卡垫通过一个其上安装有串行插头(Sub-D-RS232)的电缆与PC连接。例如一个适配器可以与该垫一起提供，使该垫可连接于USB插头。
图1示出了根据本发明的一种部件的实施例，包括
1个常规鼠标垫，245×205mm且最小6mm厚，
1个智能卡垫连接器，符合ISO 7816规范(该连接器可从Farnell购买-商品号7001PM020812A)，
1个25孔SUB-D阳性插头(Farnell商品号CF25，150-766)，
1个键盘用“Power thief”。可购买现成的使用，或者做成2个PS2键盘插头(阳性或阴性)，+5V与接地单独拔出。
1个PCB印刷线路板，具有尺寸(H×L×W)1．6×70×58mm，具有符合技术规范的印刷线路，以及
2个10kohms电阻(R1，R2)。(Farnell商品号509-280)。该部件可按如下方法构造：从智能卡垫connection 1(VCC)连接+5 voltsPower thief+5 volts连接R1R2从智能卡垫connection 5(GND)Power thief GND connection连接ground／GND从SUB-D插头脚2(DATAO)智能卡垫connector 3(SCL)R1连接Clock从SUB-D插头脚1(C／STROBE)智能卡垫connector 7(SDA)R2连接Data该部件可按下述方法连接于PC(个人计算机)或其他类型计算机：将Power thief插入PC中键盘插塞。键盘插头插入Power thief。SUB-D插头插入PC打印机口。读／写部件可以I2C通信(2导线串行)用于普通智能卡。
图2示出了根据本发明的一种部件的实施例。智能卡垫包括一个常规鼠标垫，做成三层，一个智能卡读／写部件，一个带9孔SUB-D插头的电缆，一个适配器与一个USB插头。读／写部件镶入鼠标垫中间层(泡沫橡胶)，其上焊接的电线从泡沫橡胶中的一条通道伸出到鼠标垫的后面。该产品研发阶段将确定泡沫橡胶层是通过模塑成型还是切削而形成。
不打滑橡胶背衬粘合到该垫的底面，具有广告印刷的顶层粘合到顶面。该层提供鼠标球定位的适当摩擦力。
尽管已经描述和示出了本发明的较佳实施例，但本发明不限于此，还可以在权利要求限定范围内以其他方式体现。例如，根据本发明的一种部件可以适合于通过并行口而与计算机连接，并通过该口与计算机通信。此外，根据本发明的一种部件可以结合个人计算机使用，但是当然也可以结合其他类型计算机以及计算机终端使用。此外，根据本发明的一种部件可以结合其他类型的卡使用，例如带磁条的卡。

Claims (2)

1．一种包括一种卡读／写装置的部件，其特征在于，该部件由鼠标垫构成，该鼠标垫适合于连接到计算机，使得该连接在计算机与该卡读／写装置之间建立一种链接。
2．根据权利要求1的部件，其特征在于，该卡读／写装置由一种智能卡(SmartCard)部件构成。
