技术领域
本发明涉及包装和容器,特别涉及具有两隔腔的并可使两隔腔在使用前保持隔离的容器。
背景技术
已经设计出多种不同类型的包装,这些包装使制品成分得以在使用前保持分离,并且在有些情况下,在使用制品前保持一种成分是无菌的。在一种两隔腔式包装中,在两隔腔之间的孔内放置止挡件或其它装置。例如,Halm的两隔腔式容器(US5,417,321)包括一个具有两隔腔的容器,两隔腔之一组装在另一个之上并通过塞堵的开口连接。所提到的所有专利的内容在此予以引证与参考。
另一种两隔腔式包装利用打孔装置使两个预先分离的成分混合。例如Goncalves的专利(US5,170,888具有形成第一隔腔的玻璃杯,玻璃杯具有杯颈部,杯颈部上安装有形成第二隔腔的瓶子,两隔腔之间设有薄膜,当穿孔装置针对玻璃杯移置时在薄膜上打孔;US4,757,916具有由盖分隔的两个分离单元,操纵混合穿孔器可在盖上穿孔)。Wiegner的两部分式容器(US4,103,772)具有易碎隔离物和刺破件,易碎隔离物由带涂层的铝箔构成并分隔两隔腔,刺破件安装弹性部上,弹性部沿横向指向隔离物。在White的专利(US4,637,934)中,使用刚硬的刺穿件刺破隔腔封闭隔膜,以便使喂养液体由隔腔流入相通的配装吸嘴。
现有技术中还提出一种两隔腔式包装,它具有配装在包装顶部的开口容器,并设有螺帽和圆柱套形的支承环。通过外部围绕开口盘的固定凸缘,将圆柱套形的支承环附连在包装的顶部,并在其内表面上设有凸起的螺纹。该环围绕塑料螺帽的外螺纹。切断刀以一体方式在螺帽的自由边缘上成型,并具有前切断刃,前切断刃以一定角度穿过自由边缘。
在Wilkinson等人的专利(US4,786,279)中公开了:对于这些两部分组成的环氧胶,还需要两隔腔来防止制品进行反应。
Renault的分配器(US5,564,600)具有由密封件分隔的两隔腔,密封件靠着座部形成密封,容器之一针对另一容器的移动使密封件移动而远离座部,并在密封件和座部之间构成环形通道。
US6,209,718和US6,105,760以及悬而未决申请(申请号为09/775,486)公开了两隔腔式包装,在使用前保持第一成分与液体成分分离,使得正好在使用前第一成分不会变湿。两隔腔式包装使至少成分之一正好在使用前保持无菌,或在两种成分可以方便混合时或之前保持无菌。因此能够将现有的发明用于一些容器,这些容器用于单独包装在消费前才要添加到食物、液体营养物、药物或饮料制品中去的干微生物培养物、用于在消费前单独包装碳酸药片和液体和用于单独包装在消费前添加到饮料、液体营养物、药物或饮料中的维生素或其它不稳定成分。
US6,098,795和悬而未决申请(申请号为09/592,217)公开了向主包装中添加选择成分的容器和装置,由此形成两隔腔式容器,在使用前的选择时间前,保持易潮的第一成分与最好为液体的第二成分分离。投递包装最好在投递包装空腔内部的隔腔中盛装第二成分,可以将投递包装安装在主包装外表面上。设置穿孔装置以切透隔腔和主包装,从而形成与主包装相通的通道,将隔腔中的第一成分释放到主包装内。另外,主包装可以是袋子,如在第一实施例中优选使用的肠状袋。在本发明第二实施例中,主包装最好用于装液体饮料,在制造过程中将投递包装连接在主包装上。
在有些情况下,如采用装有防腐剂的瓶子或硬纸盒,需要在制造包装后和/或在包装的场所提供将选择的分离第一成分添加到包装内的装置,可以根据病人的病历或诊断来改变成分的浓度和/或组成。在第一隔腔和包装均制造好了以后提供将第一隔腔连接在包装上的装置,允许使用者选择待添加到包装内的特殊第一成分,以及选择将第一成分添加到包装内的时间和地点。在饮用饮料的时候或之前,还需要能够将饮料添加剂特别是可降解的或易潮或易氧化的成分(例如维生素)添加到液体饮料瓶中。
许多现有两隔腔式容器所采用的结构很复杂,并且常常发生泄漏。因此,需要具有两隔腔式包装,该包装使第一成分与液体成分在使用前保持分离,从而使第一成分正好在使用前不会变湿,其中两种成分正好在使用前可以方便地混合,并且在成分混合前或一旦成分已经混合时,发生最少的泄漏或没有泄漏。例如,需要这样的容器,该容器用于单独包装在消费前才要添加到食物、液体营养物、药物或饮料制品中的干微生物培养物、用于在消费前单独包装碳酸药片和液体和用于单独包装在消费前添加到饮料、液体营养物、药物或饮料中的维生素或其它不稳定成分。
本发明的目的是提供一种两隔腔式容器,它在选择的使用时间之前使易潮的第一成分与最好为液体的第二成分分离。
本发明的又一目的是提供一种改进了可制造性并减少泄露的两隔腔式容器。
以下公开的内容和附加的权利要求可以充分理解本发明的其它目的和优点。
发明概述
本发明提供一种两隔腔式容器。第一隔腔具有上层和下层,并盛装有待添加到第二隔腔中的第一成分。第一隔腔上方是圆顶部,圆顶部呈向上的弓形并具有挠性。切断装置位于圆顶部下面,最好与圆顶部形成一体。通过向下推压圆顶部而使切断装置下移,使得仅下层被切断装置切断,或上下层均被其切断,从而将第一成分释放到第二隔腔中。切断装置可以是单个刺头,或在第二隔腔包括饮料容器或类似容器的情况下,切断装置可以是围成开口的管形壁的下部,使用者通过该开口喝饮料。

发明详细说明
本发明提供一种改进的两隔腔式容器,所述容器具有切断装置以便将隔腔中的敏感性成分从第一隔腔释放到第二隔腔中,在切断装置周围或第二隔腔开口周围产生最少的泄漏或不产生泄漏。
本发明中使用的有关方向术语“上”、“下”和类似术语用于特指:在容器为瓶子、硬纸盒或类似物时,使其第二隔腔的开口面对上方,此时本发明部件所具有的相对方向。在本发明容器的特别结构或使用中,可以以任何不背离本发明的方式来确定容器的方向,理解成本发明各部分的实际方向作相应改变。
特别是,本发明是包括第一隔腔12和第二隔腔14的容器10(如图1-7)。尽管一般第二隔腔14作为盛装通常为液体的第二成分C2的主隔腔,而第一隔腔12作为待添加到第二隔腔14中的第一成分C1的投递包装,但是要理解,此处使用了术语“主”包装和“投递”包装,因而不限制包装的绝对或相对尺寸。这些术语仅用于以功能和结构特征的差异来区别两种包装,其中主包装包括现有技术中公知的用于保存物质的包装,而投递包装最好设计成保存待添加到主包装中的第一成分。在优选实施例中,第二隔腔14是带有螺旋盖的瓶子或硬纸盒,如本领域已知的果汁盒。
第一隔腔12具有上层16和下层18,并装有待添加到第二隔腔14中的第一成分C1。第一隔腔12的结构最好类似于在有关专利申请中公开的那些结构,这里通过参考而合并其内容。因此,优选的第一隔腔12最好由箔构成,最好是由隔腔外侧一面上具有塑料层的箔制成,如覆盖有聚乙烯层的铝箔,(丹麦,Allborg)Danisco的产品编号为PETP12。
在第一隔腔12上方是圆顶部20,圆顶部20作为盖24的组成部分,呈向上的弓形并具有柔性,盖24覆盖第二隔腔14。最好,圆顶部20由现有技术中已知的薄柔性塑料材料构成。切断装置22A、B、C在圆顶部20下面延伸,最好与圆顶部20成一体,但是其具有的形状、尺寸和刚度适于刺穿上层16和下层18。
在第一和第二实施例中(如图1-4),在盖24的螺纹部38上方延伸的套圈部36保持圆顶部20悬垂于第二隔腔14之上。因此,在使用本发明的这些实施例时,通过向下推动圆顶部12而将其下压,使套圈36内的切断装置22A、B下移,从而通过切断装置22A、B切断了第一隔腔12的上层16和下层18,将第一成分C1释放到第二隔腔14中。该结构使切断装置22A、B在容器10内上下移动,它不同于现有技术,不具有在其它部分内移动的部分,其它部分可能会由于移动而由外部产生泄漏。
在本发明第一实施例中,如图1-2所示,切断装置22A是由圆顶部20向下突出的单个刺头22A。切断装置22A的结构适合不同类型可刺破材料。最好,尖端30是不具有突起的简单圆锥形,或者尖端30可以是具有象许多专利申请中的锯齿形或扇形横截面的圆锥形。如图2所示,压下圆顶部20,致使圆顶部20变形并且使单个刺头22A穿过上层16和下层18,从而将第一成分C1释放到第二隔腔14中。
在本发明第二实施例(见图3-4)中,本发明在第二隔腔14包括饮料容器或类似物的情况下特别适用,切断装置22B可以是围绕一开口的壁的组成部分,该开口是供使用者喝饮料的。因此如图3所示,在该实施例中,圆顶部20最好位于饮料容器的盖24上部。该实施例中的圆顶部具有由管21围成的中心开口。管21的底部延伸至尖端32,其构成了本实施例的切断装置22B。尖端32可以具有能够刺透上层16和下层18的任何形状。在管21上方,设置吸嘴部26以在不使用时防止包装泄漏,吸嘴部能够用于吮吸液体并具有内凸缘28以密封开口,这在本领域是公知的。压下圆顶部20致使圆顶部20变形并且使切断装置22B随管21下移而下移,由此刺穿第一隔腔12的上层16和下层18。吸嘴部26在不使用时自行封闭,容器10内部的压力高到使吸嘴部26关闭的程度。
在图1-4所示的第一和第二实施例中,第一隔腔12向下悬垂,具有上层16和下层18,在如图2和4所示压下圆顶部20时将这两层都刺透。在这两种实施例的情况下,上层16、下层18最好都较薄并容易刺穿。相反,在图5-6所示的第三实施例中,第一隔腔12呈向上的弓形,上层16最好很厚,如由厚塑料和/或箔材料制成。平展的下层18是薄而易刺穿的箔。如图5-6所示,设置较短的切断装置22C,以形成使第一隔腔12呈上弓形的空间,因为切断装置22C不需要自始至终穿过第一隔腔。因此,当本实施例中下压圆顶部20时,其致使圆顶部20变形并且推动上层16下移,如图6所示,完好无损的但被向下推动的上层16被推靠在下层18上并最终将下层18刺透,而没有刺透上层16。
在图7所示的本发明圆顶部的另一实施例中,没有设置在圆顶部20上部延伸的套圈部36,圆顶部20不悬垂在第二隔腔14上方。本实施例中的圆顶部20侧面40直接设置在延伸穿过第二隔腔上部的层(上层16或下层18)上。
在两个实施例中,最好在盖24上设置外盖34,如图1、3和5、所示,它防止了使用前如在运输和存储时无意中将圆顶部20压下。盖34可以具有本领域任何公知的形状或具有任何有益的形状,而不是这里所述的本发明特别组成部分。
本发明主要是为向装在主包装(第二隔腔14)内的液体中添加选择的敏感性第一成分C1而设计的,第一成分最好装在第一隔腔12内。这里使用的术语“选择的”第一成分C1包括为特殊用途而选择的第一成分,如向瓶子或硬纸盒中加入的添加剂,这些瓶子或硬纸盒供需要补充维生素或抗生素的人使用,或具有特定容量或浓度或类似特性。第一成分可以是待添加到主包装中去的单一化合物、混合物、溶液、胶囊、粉末或任何其它可盛装的成分,主包装最好盛装第二成分,第二成分依次是任何供第一成分添加以便形成有用制品的可盛装化合物。在第一实施例中,能够选取预包装第一成分的种类,这促使了购买者分别购买和储存第一和第二成分,以便在室温下保存不易变质的第二成分,并保持第一隔腔,它们各自具有合适且易于分离、存储的任何数量配备第一成分中的一种,以供以后添加到第二成分中去。当第一成分C1包括微生物细胞时,第一成分最好是许多专利申请中所公开的粉末状配方。
术语“敏感性”包括易潮的或与第二成分相互作用的第一成分,例如通过形成改变混合成分有效性的副产品,这是由于成分在混合后随时间损失或改变了浓度或值而由最初的有效变成过弱。“敏感性”第一成分还包括一些成分,这些成分在正好添加到第二成分之前会需要特殊储存和/或处理,例如冷冻、干燥或加热;以及第一成分由于任何原因而要求在制造时和以后的时间如添加到第二成分的时间之间保持与第二成分分离。
如许多专利中公开的那样,最好第一成分呈粉末状,粉末在干燥时是稳定的,并且粉末易于溶解和悬浮在主包装的液体中。本发明对于向饮料、液体肠内营养或药物中添加非稳定和/或消毒成分是特别有效的,如向果汁、牛奶、水和药物中添加维生素或有益肠胃的微生物如乳酸菌reuteri。

Claims (15)
1、一种用于向第二成分中添加第一成分的两隔腔式容器,所述容器包括:
(a)盛装第一成分的第一隔腔,所述第一隔腔具有上层和下层,所述第一隔腔由可切断材料制成;
(b)盛装第二成分的第二隔腔,所述第二隔腔具有盖,所述盖包括挠性圆顶部并具有切断装置,所述切断装置由挠性圆顶部下面向着第一隔腔的第一隔腔上层伸出;
其中压下所述挠性圆顶部致使圆顶部变形并使下层得以刺穿,将第一成分释放到第二隔腔中。
2、如权利要求1所述的容器,其中所述切断装置是与所述挠性圆顶部连接的突起。
3、如权利要求1所述的容器,其中所述切断装置具有圆锥形尖端。

(c)压下所述挠性圆顶部致使圆顶部变形并使下层得以刺穿,将第一成分释放到第二隔腔中。
10、如权利要求9所述的方法,其中所述切断装置是与所述挠性圆顶部连接的突起。
11、如权利要求9所述的方法,其中所述盖具有由管包围的中心开口,所述管具有一下端,其中所述切断装置是所述下端的组成部分。
12、如权利要求9所述的方法,其中所述挠性圆顶部和所述切断装置形成一体。
13、如权利要求9所述的方法,其中所述切断装置具有圆锥形尖端。
14、如权利要求9所述的方法,其中压下所述挠性圆顶部致使所述切断装置切断并穿透上层和下层,将第一成分释放到第二隔腔内。
15、如权利要求9所述的方法,其中压下所述挠性圆顶部致使所述切断装置推动上层下移,从而刺穿下层。
