发明内容
本发明提供一种大规模生产制造的、牙齿有色的预制齿冠,其在处理具有大范围龋齿损坏的乳牙和永久臼齿的儿童牙科中十分有用。
因此根据本发明的一个优选实施例提供一种由聚甲醛均聚物形成的注模齿冠,所述的聚甲醛均聚物包括聚甲醛(POM)热塑性均聚物(Polioxymethylene Thermoplastic Homopolymer)。
根据本发明的一个优选实施例,所述的注模齿冠形成有多个悬垂的侧表面,这些侧表面的至少其中之一定义一个下部凹陷(undercut)。
优选地,所述的悬垂侧表面是柔性的。
根据本发明的一个优选实施例也提供一种用于大规模生产制造齿冠的方法,该方法包括:提供多部件模具,采用该多部件模具注模所述的带有悬垂侧表面的齿冠,其中至少一个侧表面定义一个下部凹陷。
根据本发明的一个优选实施例,所述的多部件模具包括一个顶出装置,其用于在所述的多部件模具打开之后顶出所述的模制齿冠。

具体实施方式
现参照图1和图2,图1是由聚甲醛均聚物树脂形成的齿冠的简化示意图,图2是沿图1中的线II-II剖的齿冠的剖面图。
如图1和2所示,根据本发明的一个优选实施例提供一种由聚甲醛均聚物树脂形成的注模齿冠10。形成所述齿冠的优选材料是聚甲醛均聚物树脂(DELRIN),该树脂在商业上可以从杜邦公司(DuPont)得到。
从图1和2中可知,所述的齿冠10形成有一般常规的牙齿形状的顶面12和悬垂的侧表面14,其中至少一个侧表面定义一个下部凹陷16。优选地,所述的悬垂侧表面14是柔性的。作为对具有大范围龋齿损坏的乳牙和永久臼齿的处理的一部分,齿冠10通过常规的方法,诸如利用牙科粘合剂,可以容易地安装在病人,尤其是儿童的嘴里。本发明的一个特殊特征在于所述的齿冠10的颜色大致与病人牙齿的颜色相匹配。
本发明的齿冠的特点在于高抗拉强度,高抗冲击性和刚性,良好的耐疲劳度和防潮性,良好的尺寸稳定性和对抗蠕变的足够弹性和抗力。所述的齿冠具有活髓牙的自然外观。

从图3A、3B和3C中可知,所述的齿冠10在由顶部模制部件22、底部模制部件24和顶出机构26限定的模腔20中模制。所述的顶出机构26形成内部模制部件32的一部分。
图3A表示当顶部模制部件22与所述的底部模制部件24和顶出机构26处于紧密接合时的模制阶段。在所述的顶出机构26上制造所述的齿冠10,从聚甲醛均聚物树脂源(未示出)通过在顶部模制部件22中形成的通道30将聚甲醛均聚物树脂材料注射到所述的模腔20中形成所述的齿冠。
图3B表示初始释放阶段,其中所述的底部模制部件24与顶部模制部件22分离,从而允许从模腔20中取出模制的齿冠10。
图3C表示顶出阶段,其中顶出机构26由活塞28驱动,所述的顶出机构相对于底部模制部件24向上移动并将齿冠10顶出模腔20。由于所述的悬垂侧表面14的弹性,尽管存在下部凹陷16,但是顶出机构26的动作能使所述的内部模制部件32与齿冠10脱离。

Claims (2)

1、一种齿冠,其由聚甲醛均聚物树脂制成,该齿冠包括:
牙齿形状的顶面;和
柔性的悬垂侧表面,至少其中一个侧表面限定有下部凹陷。
2、如权利要求1所述的齿冠,其特征在于,所述聚甲醛均聚物树脂包括聚甲醛热塑性均聚物。
