Abstract

Description

开槽切削镶刃
本发明涉及开槽切削镶刃。本发明切削镶刃特别适用于不同的凹槽的径向切削和车削以及小角度凹槽的仿形切削,例如加工活塞环的凹槽。
在进行这类加工时,切屑的断裂和形成对生产的中断次数常常起着决定性影响。现代的高生产率机器要求有良好的除屑性能。不受控制的长切屑很容易造成生产中断和刮伤部件。因此必须重视切屑的控制,刀具的设计必须考虑到如何控制切屑。
车削凹槽和进行切断的切削镶刃一般夹紧在刀型刀架上,以便在狭小空间中使用。这类切削镶刃例如可见US-A-5,375,984和US-A-5,423,639。
用来径向车削凹槽的现有切削镶刃的工作并不总是令人满意。切屑断裂得不够,切屑控制也不符合要求。
因此本发明的第一个目的是生产适合于重复、径向车削凹槽的切削镶刃。
本发明的第二个目的是生产还可进行仿形切削和纵向车削、特别是仿形切削小角度凹槽两边的切削镶刃。
本发明的另一个目的是生产还可在第一次切削过程中一般生成不断裂的长切屑的切削镶刃。
这些目的和其他目的由具有本发明所述特征的车削凹槽的切削镶刃实现。

图1所示为由硬质合金之类坚硬、耐磨材料制成的切削镶刃1包括一后杆部2和一刀头3。该后杆部2包括两平行的侧面4、5,顶部的两向里倾斜的斜面6、7,相应形成的一底面8,一与两侧面4、5成直角的后端面9以及一形成杆部2与刀头3之间的过渡部的前肩10,肩10的顶为该切削镶刃在中性平面P上方的最高点h。底面8用作切削镶刃在一相配刀架上的第一支撑面,它与相配的刀具的中性平面P平行。切削镶刃用一作用在两顶面上的夹臂固定在刀架上,从而切削镶刃靠夹臂作用在切削镶刃上的弹簧力夹紧在工作位置上。切削镶刃的夹紧可见本说明书的参考材料瑞典专利申请No.9201324-2。两侧面4、5之间的距离t为该切削镶刃的最大宽度。
前部的刀头3包括向下、向里倾斜的两顶面11和12,以相应的方式倾斜的两底面13、14,顶面11、12与底面13、14之间分别与顶面11和12成锐角的两垂直侧面15,16以及一前端面17。顶面11、12与端面17的交线构成主刀刃18,而两侧面15、16与两顶面11、12分别构成两侧刃19和20。两斜面11、12的后部与最好为半圆柱形的肩10的向上斜面相连。
该切削镶刃的突出之处在于,两侧面15、16及其两侧刃19、20向前伸展而相交成1.5-20°、最好为1.5-5°的-锐角α;顶面11、12上有若干相间距的凹槽21,从而该切削镶刃纵向中心线CL两边的刀刃不连续。每一凹槽21以与中心线CL成直角的方向朝刀头内部伸展。每一凹槽21的宽度和深度随着凹槽向里伸展而递减。凹槽21在侧面15、16上的最大宽度最好小于相邻两凹槽之间的距离。凹槽21呈V形,该凹槽两侧壁22和23的交角为65-90°。凹槽21的侧壁呈平面,其底面呈弧形。
切削镶刃前端的顶面由对称分布在中心线CL两边的相间距的两突起24和25构成。这两个突起呈椭圆形。这两个突起的前部从主刀刃18看去首先会聚,然后发散。每一突起的顶面为平面,其侧面为向下倾斜的斜面。从图2中可看得最清楚,每一突起的顶面与通过主刀刃和侧刀刃的平面同高或稍低。
由于有相间距的这两个突起24、25,切屑起先碰到它们而发生断裂。随着切削深度和进刀量的增加,切屑上的剪切角发生变化。这两突起使得断屑作用不因切削深度的增加而下降。随着切削深度的增加,切削镶刃与工件之间的相互作用发生在三条不同的边上,即主刀刃18和两侧刀刃19、20处,在侧刀刃处,凹槽21开始积极起作用而减小切屑的宽度,从而防止生成太薄、难于处理的切屑。两突起24,25的鼻部之间、从主刀刃18向里、向下倾斜的一表面26也有助于切屑的"起皱"。该表面与两突起24、25之间的一向上倾斜的表面27相连,该表面27的顶部28稍低于突起24、25的顶面。
这一几何形状使得该切削镶刃特别适合于径向车削凹槽以及进行仿形和纵向车削。

Claims (13)

1、一种主要用来在金属工件中车削凹槽的切削镶刃,包括一后杆部(2)和一前刀头(3),该刀头包括一顶面(11,12)、一底面(5)、伸展在这两面之间、与该顶面成锐角的侧面(15,16,17),顶面与前侧面(17)的交线构成主刀刃(18),顶面与横向侧面(15,16)的交线构成侧刀刃(19,20),其特征在于,两侧刀刃(19,20)及其侧面(15,16)向前伸展而相交成一锐角(α);该顶面上有多个相间距的凹槽(21)使得该切削镶刃的前刀头的中心线(CL)两边的侧刀刃不连续。
2、按权利要求1所述的切削镶刃,其特征在于,凹槽(21)与中心线(CL)成直角地向里伸入该切削镶刃;凹槽(21)的宽度随着向里伸入切削镶刃而递减;凹槽(21)的最大宽度小于相邻两凹槽之间的距离。
3、按权利要求1所述的切削镶刃,其特征在于,每一凹槽(21)的最大深度位于侧面(15,16)的平面中;该凹槽的深度随着凹槽伸入切削镶刃而递减。
4、按权利要求1所述的切削镶刃,其特征在于,成对向主刀刃(18)伸展的两侧刀刃(19,20)相交成1.5-20°的-锐角(α)。
5、按权利要求4所述的切削镶刃,其特征在于,该刀头的中心线(CL)的两边对称分布有相间距的两突起(24,25)。
6、按权利要求5所述的切削镶刃,其特征在于,该切削镶刃有一从主刀刃(18)向下倾斜、与两突起(24,25)之间的一向上倾斜的表面(27)相连的斜面(26)。
7、按权利要求1-6中任一权利要求所述的切削镶刃,其特征在于,该刀头的顶面由呈V形的两平面(11和12)构成,它们各从一侧刀刃向下倾斜,并伸展在该刀头的纵向上。
