Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种低延烧性香烟,该香烟不会因吸烟者的疏忽等使点着的香烟从燃烧部蔓延到周围而引起火灾。
背景技术
当吸烟者的不注意将烟头丢落在地板时,为使其燃烧部难于燃烧蔓延,现有技术中已公开了一种赋予自动熄火的香烟,即在烟草卷纸上设置一条宽度为2~20mm纤维素纸制成的带(特开昭63-85200号公报);或在烟草卷纸上设置涂布一种阻燃性物质的带(特开平7-300795号公报)。众所周知,烟草卷纸上都粘贴着难燃材料。这些技术均基于这样一种观点:在烟草卷纸上通过设置高燃烧区和低燃烧区,在高燃烧区可以进行通常吸烟,而在低燃烧区存在着一种与香烟接触的物质,进而使香烟自动熄灭。
此前,我们知道一种很容易自动灭火的香烟,该香烟为在单位时间内减少副流烟量,以降低香烟的燃烧速度。对于这样的香烟,又提出了一种改进的香烟,该香烟是将含有少量填料的卷烟纸作为卷纸的内层,把普通的卷烟纸用作外层,再将烟丝由其包装(日本特许第2572488号说明书)。
但是,当使用有不燃区卷烟纸的时候,因为有难燃部分和易燃部分,所以,吸烟时必须不自然地抽吸,吸到的烟味也是不一定的。还有,降低燃烧速度以达到自动熄火(低延烧性)的方法,由于该方法是通过降低卷烟纸的通气度达到的,所以卷烟纸透气效果低,由此,必然带来吸烟味道的变化,这对普通吸烟者来说,会感到不愉快。还有一种众所周知的方法,由于卷烟纸通气度的降低而使通气效果下降,为了防止这种影响,一般在香烟上连接一种过滤嘴,通过在滤片纸上开孔来弥补通气的不足。然而,在滤片纸上开孔会增加制造成本。
另外,特开昭60-59199号公报公开了一种,为了提供具有低引火倾向的吸烟物品,而分别用2种包装材料包装烟草柱,该包装材料具有特定范围的BMI(燃烧速率指数)值。2种包装材料中,内层包装材料的通气度低于1个柯氏单位(コレスタ单位、Coresta单位)。不管怎样,在特开昭60-59199号公报中既没有公开也没有暗示卷烟纸的热传导率与香烟的延烧性之间的关系。
本发明的目的就是提供一种低延烧性香烟,该香烟与普通香烟一样,它们的轴向燃烧速度是相同的。
发明内容
为了达到上述目的,本发明人经过悉心研究,结果发现,使用2种卷烟纸包装烟草填料,亦即1张纸为途中熄灭的卷烟纸,具体地说,就是热传导率为大于或等于0.5W·K-1m-1的卷烟纸(内层卷纸)直接包装烟草填料,然后把其内层卷烟纸用周知的高燃烧性的卷烟纸再进行包装,具体地说,就是通过用小于0.5W·K-1m-1的卷烟纸(外层卷纸)再度包装,该技术与现有技术不同,是用2层卷烟纸包装香烟,虽然香烟燃烧速度相同,但是该技术可获得低延烧性香烟。本发明就是基于这种观点而提出的。
即,本发明提供一种低延烧性香烟,该香烟包括烟草部,所述烟草部由柱状烟草填料和围绕该柱状烟草填料外的内层卷烟纸和围绕该内层卷纸外的外层卷烟纸构成,所述内层卷纸的热传导率为大于或等于0.5W·K-1m-1,外层卷烟纸的热传导率为小于0.5W·K-1m-1。
本发明香烟的烟草部具有大于或等于55mm/分的重量燃烧速度或大于或等于5.0mm/分的自然燃烧线速度。
本发明内层卷纸包含0~0.5%重量的填料,优选内层卷纸具有5~30柯氏单位的通气度。
具体实施方式
下面进一步详细说明本发明。
本发明香烟包括烟草部,该烟草部是用2种卷烟纸(内层和外层卷烟纸)包装柱状烟草填料。也就是说,本发明香烟的烟草填料各自由具有特定热传导率的内层卷烟纸和外层卷烟纸构成的包装材料加以包装。卷烟纸的热传导率可以通过基本纸浆中添加的填料(通常为碳酸钙或氢氧化镁等)以及纸浆量多少或纸层结构得以控制。
本发明的特征就是使用热传导率高的(大于或等于0.5W·K-1m-1)内层卷烟纸。具体地说,其内层卷烟纸的构成,是在亚麻浆和木浆等组成的基本浆的卷烟纸中,不添加填料(通常为碳酸钙或氢氧化镁等)或只添加极少量的填料(小于0.5%重量)。优选不含柠檬酸盐等燃烧调节剂。本发明的内层卷烟纸可具有不高于0.6W·K-1m-1的热传导率。内层卷纸优选的热传导率在0.52~0.56W·K-1m-1的范围内。内层卷烟纸单位面积的重量虽然没有特别的限制,但是最好为15~35g/m2左右。本发明内层卷纸的通气度也没有特殊的限制,但优选与外层卷纸组合起来通气度高的。内层卷烟纸的通气度优选为5~30柯氏单位,更优选10~30柯氏单位。若内层卷烟纸的通气度高,从卷烟纸进入香烟的空气量增加,主流烟将变得稀薄,一氧化碳的量相对减少。若内层卷烟纸的通气度高,从卷烟纸进入香烟内的空气量增加,可以使设定在滤片纸上的穿孔数目降低。
外层卷烟纸的热传导率小于0.5W·K-1m-1。外层卷烟纸是以亚麻浆或木浆作为基本浆,优选包含1~5%重量的燃烧调节剂如柠檬酸或柠檬酸盐(钠盐或钾盐)等。本发明外层卷烟纸通常具有大于或等于0.25W·K-1m-1的热传导率。所述外层卷烟纸的热传导率优选在0.29~0.45W·K-1m-1的范围内,更优选在0.29~0.35W·K-1m-1的范围内。一般来讲,优选外层卷烟纸单位面积的重量为20~70g/m2,通气度从10到100柯氏单位左右。外层卷烟纸优选包含10~60%质量的碳酸钙或氢氧化镁等填料。
本发明通常使用的烟草填料就是香烟烟丝,其充填密度与现有香烟密度相同。
本发明的香烟在烟草部的一端还可包括普通的过滤嘴。
本发明香烟与现有香烟的明显区别在于,直接包装烟草填料的内层卷烟纸的热传导率。另一特点是,无须特别限定内层卷烟纸的通气度。即本发明可以通过将内层卷烟纸通气度从5柯氏单位提高至30柯氏单位(柯氏通气度由国际标准ISO 2965规定)来解决现有技术中双层卷烟纸的香烟卷纸通气作用小而使内层卷烟纸和外层卷烟纸的总通气度降低的技术问题。本发明使用的外卷烟纸具有高燃烧性,它是本发明特征之一。借此,有助于难燃的内层卷烟纸的燃烧。
具有上述构成的烟草部的本发明香烟,其烟草部显示大于或等于55mg/分的重量燃烧速度,或者大于或等于5.0mm/分的自然燃烧线速度。
下面说明本发明的实施例。
按照常规方法制造表1所示的香烟A~L。香烟A~J为比较例,香烟K~L为本发明的香烟。两者不同之处仅在于,它们的卷烟纸的特性和卷烟纸的组成。卷烟纸的质量、填料量(碳酸钙重量%)、燃烧调节剂量(柠檬酸钾重量%)、热传导率以及通气度如表1所示。热传导率由非恒定平面热源法测定。
所有香烟的烟丝均购自于商用美国产的烟丝(填充密度为218mg/cm-3)。香烟圆周为24.8mm,香烟长度为84mm。针对这些香烟的重量燃烧速度、线燃烧速度和点火速度进行测定。将香烟横向放置在无风的状态下,然后测定重量燃烧速度和线燃烧速度。根据美国国立标准技术研究所(NIST)报告的模拟点火试验方法(参照Mock-Up Ignition Method及Cigarette ExtinctionTest Method;Ohelemiller,T.J.,Villa,K.M.,Braun,E.,Eberhard,K.R.,Harris,Jr.,R.H.,Lawson,J.R.,and Gann.R.G.,“Test Methods for Quantifying thePropensity of Cigarettes to Ignite Soft Furnishings”,NIST Special Publication851)测定点火速度,其测定结果于表2所示。更具体地说,表2中的[#厚棉布]是通过Mock-Up Ignition Method测定所得试验结果,使48根香烟处于直立状态,自然燃烧15mm时,再将其横向放置在#6厚棉布上,保持该状态并点燃棉布,测定香烟燃烧的百分比(根数%)。表2中的[滤纸]是通过Cigarette Extinction Test Method测定所得的试验结果,使16根香烟处于直立状态,自然燃烧15mm时,将Whatman No.2滤纸10张叠加并将香烟横向放置于该叠加的滤纸上静置,保持该状态,点着的香烟中途不熄灭一直燃烧到香烟根部,此时测定香烟燃烧的百分比(根数%)。

从表2所示可知,本发明产品与现有产品的香烟一样继续保持重量燃烧速度并具有极低的点火速度。
如上所述,本发明提供一种沿着长轴方向具有相同燃烧速度的低火灾蔓延性香烟。而本发明的香烟在长轴方向具有相同燃烧速度,所以吸烟时香烟不会产生异味。
Claims (5)
1.一种低延烧性香烟,其中包括烟草部,该烟草部由柱状烟草填料和围绕该柱状烟草填料外的内层卷烟纸以及围绕该内层卷烟纸外的外层卷烟纸构成,所述内层卷烟纸的热传导率大于或等于0.5W·K-1m-1且不高于0.6W·K-1m-1,所述外层卷烟纸的热传导率大于或等于0.25W·K-1m-1且小于或等于0.5W·K-1m-1。
2.根据权利要求1所述的香烟,其中所述烟草部的重量燃烧速度大于或等于55mg/分,或者自然燃烧速度大于或等于5.0mm/分。
3.根据权利要求1所述的香烟,其中所述内层卷烟纸含有0~0.5%重量的至少一种选自碳酸钙和氢氧化镁的填料。
4.根据权利要求2所述的香烟,其中所述内层卷烟纸含有0~0.5%重量的至少一种选自碳酸钙和氢氧化镁的填料。
5.根据权利要求1至4中任一项所述的香烟,其中所述内层卷烟纸具有5~30柯氏单位的通气度。
