本发明涉及一种带有机壳的电子设备,该机壳的壳壁上具有供控制和/或显示元件使用的开口。
这类电子设备可为如电话、无绳电话或移动电话、袖珍计算器、电视机、收音机或例如其它通常供个人使用的家用电器。如果由于个人原因或出于预定的要求,需要改变这种电子设备的外观,例如机壳的形状及颜色,这项工作通常必须由专业人员完成,因为在这种操作过程中,电子设备机壳内的电子元件常常暴露在外。因此改变电子设备机壳的外观既费力、费时又费钱,而且个人通常很少能做到。
根据本发明,提供了一种带有机壳的电子设备,该机壳的壳壁上具有供控制元件和/或显示元件使用的开口,其特征在于将至少部分地覆盖壳壁的一个外壁元件可拆卸地与机壳相连的连接装置,外壁元件具有与壳壁中的开口正对的开口。在从属的权利要求书中具有本发明的有利的改进。
根据本发明的电子设备允许特别是非专业人员快速容易地改变机壳的外观。
利用根据本发明的电子设备,用户就能通过选择和安装合适的外壁元件而在很短的时间内毫无困难地改变机壳的外观或设计。这样,如果能获得不同形状和颜色的外部元件,用户就能根据他的喜好或多或少地改变机壳。甚至可以使用由不同材料制成的外壁元件。
当外壁元件盖在带有开口的机壳上时,壳壁和外壁元件中的开口彼此对准,使得即使外壁元件安装在壳壁上之后,也能继续使用穿过开口突出的按键或继续阅读插在开口中的显示元件。这也适用于插入开口中的麦克风或喇叭,例如无绳电话这种情况。
利用根据本发明的电子设备,当改变机壳的外观时,该设备中的电子器件总是受到保护的,用户无法触及。因此,如果为了给该电子设备以新的设计而用另一个外壁替换原外壁,在互换外壁元件时不会有损坏机壳中电子器件的风险,也不会有使用户受到机壳内电子器件伤害的危险。就这一点而言,甚至可以在电子设备运行时互换外壁元件。
根据本发明的有利的改进,外壁元件能够至少部分与机壳的壳壁接合,从而能够在更大程度上改变机壳的设计,或在更大程度上适应用户的要求。
与此同时,如果不太强调改变机壳的形状而强调改变机壳的颜色或材料,外壁元件的轮廓可以依照机壳壳壁的轮廓。然而,外壁元件当然可以有不同的形状,只要保证在将各个外壁元件连到机壳上后,装上的外壁元件和壳壁中的各个开口彼此正对,这些形状就可以彼此不同。
根据本发明的一个非常有利的发展,外壁元件可以为例如壳形设计,这样可以将一边安装在向外突出超过机壳侧壁的底板上。
可以使用任何喜欢的连接装置将外壁元件装在电子设备的机壳上,但可以优先使用压/卡锁合连接装置。它们确保在外壁元件和机壳之间建立可靠的连接,并且易于使用,不需要特殊的工具。
下面将参考附图对本发明进行解释,其中:
图1显示一个移去外壁元件的无绳电话或移动电话;
图2显示安装上了外壁元件的根据图1的无绳电话或移动电话;
图3显示从下侧看过去的外壁元件;以及
图4显示外壁元件壁的剖面图。
下面参考作为电子设备实例的无绳电话或移动电话解释本发明。然而,本发明也可用于其它电子设备中,如有线电话、袖珍计算器、电视机、收音机、CD唱机、盒式录音机等中。
根据图1,根据本发明的无绳电话或移动电话具有机壳1,平板形底板元件2和壳形的机壳元件3与机壳1相连。平板形底板元件2和壳形机壳元件3利用螺钉(未示出)连在一起,螺钉穿过壳形机壳元件3中的开口4被拧进固定连接在平板形底板元件2内侧的槽中(未示出)。机壳1内有一个以合适的方式连接的承载板,用于承载电子元件等。
壳形的机壳元件3的壳壁5与平板形底板元件2基本成平行放置并间隔一定距离,且与侧壁6紧密连接在一起,侧壁6的自由或下缘支撑在平板形底板元件2上。在这种布置中,平板形底板元件2向外突并在边缘部分超出侧壁6一段恒定的距离,从而获得外形均匀的轮廓。
壳壁5中有若干通孔7,用于在上述的机壳1内的承载板上安装电子元件,电子元件部分伸出通孔7。通孔7可供如按键8、显示设备9或喇叭设备/麦克风设备10使用。在上侧壁6中这也可能有供天线用的相应通孔7。
在每种情况下,在壳形机壳元件3的沿机壳1纵向延伸的侧壁6上有两个连接装置11,它们是间隔一定距离的互相压/卡锁合装置。在每种情况下,它们都位于电话的前端和后端。连接装置11有一个向外有弹性预应力的爪突12,可以将它逆着外部动作元件13施加的朝外的弹性作用力的方向向内压入机壳1中。这些连接装置用于将安装在壳形机壳元件3上且同为壳形设计的外壁元件14连接到机壳1。
图1和3所示的壳形外壁元件14的外形与壳形机壳元件3基本相同,但它是以一定的方式设计的,使其能够在内部容纳壳形机壳元件。如果设计成薄壁壳形的外壁元件14安装在壳形机壳元件3上,壳形外壁元件14利用其侧壁的自由或下边缘支撑在向外伸出壳形机壳元件3的平板形底板元件2上。这里,壳形外壁元件14侧壁的壁厚对应于壳形底板元件2的边缘外突超出壳形机壳元件3的侧壁6、6’的距离。结果,在壳形外壁元件14和壳形底板元件2之间的连接区域不存在台阶。在此,可以选择壳形外壁元件14侧壁的高度,使外壁元件14的主表面与壳壁5相距较短的距离,从而不会在后者上施加任何压力。
与此相似,在外壁元件14的主表面上具有与壳形机壳元件3的壳壁5中的开口7正对的开口7’。因此,即使当外壁元件14安装到壳形机壳元件3上时,仍然能够继续使用电话。与此同时,按键8的高度使其可以外突超出外壁元件14。外壁元件14中供显示设备9和喇叭设备/麦克风设备10使用的开口可用例如透明的元件15或栅格16盖住。
图2示出了壳形外壁元件14安装在壳形机壳元件3上并与机壳1可拆卸地相连的无绳电话或移动电话。在外壁元件14长侧壁的内表面上有凹槽12’,图4示出了其中一个的剖面,用于卡住连接装置11的突起12,使爪突12在向外的弹性压力作用下与凹槽12’啮合,这样就将外壁元件固定在机壳1上。在这种状态下,动作元件13也被一定程度地外推,但它们没有外突超出平板形底板元件2或外壁元件14的侧边。在此,动作元件13可以在平板形底板元件2上表面中的槽17中延伸。如果使用尖的物体向内压,即沿着槽17向内,动作元件13,它们就将爪突与它们一起相应地向内移动,使得爪突12与外壁元件14侧壁6内表面上的凹槽12’脱开。然后就能将外壁元件14从机壳1中拆下来。
只要简单地按压外壁元件14就能将它安装到机壳1上。然后爪突12自动啮合在凹槽12’中。

Claims (8)

1、一种在机壳(1)的壳壁(5)上具有供控制元件(8)和/或显示元件(9,10)使用的开口(7)的电子设备,其特征在于将至少部分覆盖壳壁(5)的外壁元件(14)可拆卸地与机壳(1)相连的连接装置(11),外壁元件(14)具有与壳壁(5)中的开口(7)正对的开口(7’)。
2、根据权利要求1的电子设备,其特征在于外壁元件(14)至少与机壳(1)的壳壁(6、6’)部分啮合。
3、根据权利要求1或2的电子设备,其特征在于外壁元件(14)的轮廓遵从机壳(1)的壳壁(5、6、6’)的轮廓。
4、根据权利要求1、2或3的电子设备,其特征在于外壁元件(14)为壳形设计。
5、根据权利要求2、3或4的电子设备,其特征在于机壳(1)的底板(2)突起超出机壳(1)的侧壁(6、6’),外壁元件(14)利用其边缘安装到底板上。
6、根据权利要求1到5的电子设备,其特征在于连接装置(11)具有至少一个压/卡锁合装置(12、13)。
7、根据权利要求1到6的电子设备,其特征在于它被设计成电话机。
8、根据权利要求7的电子设备,其特征在于电话为无绳电话或移动电话。
