Background
In the construction of a containment vessel of a nuclear power plant, there are many large steel structural members. These structural members are welded at the construction site. The traditional industrial robot has limited operation range and cannot be suitable for automatic welding of large steel structural members. At present, manual welding is generally adopted, and the problems of low efficiency, high operation danger, poor operation environment, large welding quality fluctuation and the like exist. With the improvement of the living standard of people, less technicians engaged in welding work types and the shortage of skilled welders become serious.
